Dear Anon, Please see below:- As mentioned in my earlier reply on this subject; this is actually contingent on the Flying Star Feng Shui. Yes, it is based on the Flying Star Feng Shui. No, based on what I have understood of the concept, it has to be a reall hill e.g. as high as a 1 storey building. For tall trees and bushes; often; it is not considered as a hill (since, it still no matter what allows air to pass thru. Another senario is that i.e. it depends! Since no two situations are similar in every home). I appreciate; that in the future, it is best not to use the "Anonymous" on topics such as this one. Else, I may not post it out. The rationale is because…

Dear Elizabeth, In my opinion, usually, if it is a painting of a single peony, this represents maidenhood and particuarly in the Tang Dynasty era, it is said to represent the femal genitalia. However, in ancient China, the significance is that it is considered the Queen of all flowers and signifies distinction and wealth. It is also a flower associated with the season of Spring. The most popular coloured peony (peonies) are RED. Later on, in the story of the Eight Immortals, there is a Bai Mu Dan or White Peony ... that challenged Lu Dong Bin (one of the eight immortals) and she won the contest. In my opinion, a picture with many peonies represents a vibrant `Spring' seas…

Dear Cecil, Thank you very much for the quick response. I am quite understand now about the houses on hilltops. But how about those houses having the stove sit right at the northwest corner which burn the breadwinner's luck? My friend is hesitate to move in such a house but all the neighbors who have the same floorplan seem to have lived there peacefully for years. I also have another question concerning about the four animal symbols. In your major Fengshui theories online, you describe the north is tortise and south is phoenix. The house should sit against the hill (tortise, north) and facing the south. But my house is facing the north (open space) and against a hill (so…

Dear Alex, 1. Actually, what it means is that for example: if one has a new home completed on or before 2004; but had only moved-in after 2004, then we can consider it as a Period 8 home. 2. Thus, it is not like someone else had moved-out of the home especially if it was built prior to 2004 and when we move it, it does not mean that the home is now a Period 8 home. This "old" home is still considered a period 7 or 6 .... etc.. home. 3. Therefore, it applies to homes that had being completed prior to 2004 and no one had yet stayed in it. And when we purchase and stay in it from 2004 onwards, we can than consider it a Period 8 home. Butit is not a period8 home under Para…

Dear Cheui May, Every period can have a Double e.g. 1s; 2s; 3s; 4s; 5s and the rest of the periods. This depends on one of the compass directions in 15 degree increments. These periods are considered good if they fall under the same period e.g. double 5s are considered good in Period 5. Perhaps, it is because you have not encountered a compass direction that has the right combinations of double 5s. Warmest Regards, Cecil On 11/26/00 11:35:00 PM, Cheui May Heui /wrote:

Dear Anon, In my opinion, the interpretation is based on the address only. More importantly, depending on your level of usage of traditional methods or if one is only a `passer-by' of Feng Shui; other analysis are a better alternative: Such as correct shapes and form, avoiding poison arrows aimed at the house. These are easier to apply. More advanced methods such as Flying Star/Pillars depends as I mentioned above, on the level of your participation or non-participation in them. `Troubled mother' in terms of numerology implies `worries' of a parent (based on direct Chinese translation) of the combination of 3, 4 and 1 numbers. Warmest Regards, Cecil

I'd like to know how important is the effect of the year and time star on a geomantic chart.I have a house that was build in period 6 with a facing of 210 degrees south-west.In 2004 my facing will have year star 2 and time star 5 in facing, which happens to be my front door too! The original geomantic chart has facing star 9, mountain star 6 and base star 3. Will the 2004 star combination affect in anyway! Will I have to protect from the negative 2-5 combination? If so in what manner would you suggest? An answer would be extremely appr?ciated! My kua number is 3 by the way if that is needed, my partner9, and my kids 2,5,4. Dear Hoa Luong, 1. In your situation, you should use Period 7 instead of Period 6. 2. The rationale is because; the convenience store is considered as the `heart' of the gas station. As it commands central focus and where human activity centres e.g. billing office, cashiers' counter and some customers walk up to this place. Warmest Regards, Cecil

I look forward to any comments/answers. Thank you! Firstly, you need to know that the report will generate the best house direction depending on the house profile you created under. Dear Anon, Please see below:- Under the Flying Star theory, a house can be considered auspicious (bearing in mind that Shapes and Form Feng Shui has also to be considered) - if it has a "double" number similar to the period. For example, if the house's main door is located at North 1 and there is a double 7's i.e. mountain star = 7 and water star = 7 for a house under Period 7. Similiarly, for a period 6 house, there is a double 6's (mountain star = 6 and water star = 6) for a house built under Period 6. Similiarly, for a period 5 house, there is a double 5's (mountain star = 5 and water star = 5) for a house built under Period 5. In addition, houses built under perio…

Dear Anon, Usually many Feng Shui practitioners will practise: 1. Compass School Feng Shui : a. Eight House Theory or Pa Cai Feng Shui This has to do with the placement of stove/ bed arrangement/study area. If so, usually or often, there is no changes, here. b. Wall colour and wealth area Often, if the wall colour isbright yellow, bright red or bright green, then there may be some instances where there may or may not be changes to these walls. Wealth area willmost often be different under Period 8. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: Our flat is build in 2002 (Period 7). I think I did disturb the Grand Duke Jupiter while renovating as one portion of SW (240.0 TO 247.5) lie in that room which I renovated and the Grand Duke was there in 2004.Recently I have placed Pi Yao in the East facing West to appease the Duke after reading a lot of your advice forums. Does this solve the problem? As you have suggested, I have checked the 2/5 combination and it lies in the NW sector with 9 as the base star. Please suggest a remedy as I have had enough trouble after the beginning of period 8 especially after this renovation. Also one more question. My Gua no is eight. 19. These are some considerations: 1. For a house considered as belonging to Period 7; if one plots it's 20 Year Flying Stars (correctly); this chart would not change even if we enter into Period 8. 2. In Period 8, the most important "wealth" or "immediate" wealth stars are #8's. 3. While #9 is known as the future prosperity star. 4. For a Period 7 house; between 1984 to 2003; at that time #7 was the current prosperity. Today, please refer to Para 2 above. As we are now into Period 8. 5. Not to be confused with one's building as belonging to Period 7 or Period 6 or even Period 5 etc.. Regardless of this; why is "Flying stars 2012 chart" called this way. Simply; it applies to …

The easiest way to apply flying star is always fix up the 20-year sector because this influence will last the longest as long as the house luck does not change. The yearly luck will come and go each year. So these changes are not absolutely lasting very long. However, a little caution to where the star 5 and 2 which are the two worst stars should be neutralized where possible. …

Dear Patricia, Yes, in particular, even if your home has a combination of ten, it is good to review the layout plan to see if the home could or could not benefit from a change of Period. For example, as you had mentioned theparticular concern iswhcih part of the home the north #7's fall into. If this is the living room or activityarea orroom, then, one may seriously have to consider "flying" toperiod 8.Again, you need to study the Period 8 chartto see if the layout plan is suitable for activating double auspicous #8 at the South sector as well as other good sectors like SW and West. These are some considerations: 1. It depends! 1.1. In a neighbourhood school and within a non-streaming class; if we were to grade the students in a class, it would form a "Bell curve". 1.2. Thus, even within various condos whether they are in the NE or other parts of SGP; in many instances, also, each stack and even in some instances, different storeys would also often take the profile of a "Bell curve". 2. Frankly, there are two approaches: 2.1. In the past and current; common sense says that bring along all family members to view the place. Thus, if one does not want to get a specific Feng Shui service like Can or cannot buy; then continue to view based on personal fee…

  25. Dear Master, I have purchased a brand new house in 1998 which is facing 183 degree (S2) with front door at the South side of the house facing also 183 degree, sitting N2. It is rectangular shaped. Based on Flying Star analysis, my house has a perfect "sum of ten" (mountain star and period star)in all 9 palaces built in Period 7. With Period 8 coming, I am not sure this house would be as auspicious as in period 7, since the chi of period 7 house declines in period 8. Can you enlighten me with my dilemma? Thank you so much for your help! Wang Jing
