Dear Alex, 1. Actually, what it means is that for example: if one has a new home completed on or before 2004; but had only moved-in after 2004, then we can consider it as a Period 8 home. 2. Thus, it is not like someone else had moved-out of the home especially if it was built prior to 2004 and when we move it, it does not mean that the home is now a Period 8 home. More importantly, depending on your level of usage of traditional methods or if one is only a `passer-by' of Feng Shui; other analysis are a better alternative: Such as correct shapes and form, avoiding poison arrows aimed at the house. These are easier to apply. Dear Master, I have purchased a brand new house in 1998 which is facing 183 degree (S2) with front door at the South side of the house facing also 183 degree, sitting N2. It is rectangular shaped.
