Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: What should I do in accordance with Feng Shui to quickly sell my home? Frankly, there is very littlein terms of feng shui that you can do about selling a house quickly. Except maybe make use of some of the auspicious feng shui benefits of the house as a selling point in your promotion or maybe even to improve your luck by choosing a good date to meet etc. Otherwise, nothing else can really help you here. Dear Anon, Welcome to the forum! To be honest, crystals are modern invention. For us Chinese, just imagine a generation earlier or a few generations, back! There is no such thing as crystals! In general, man made crystals only appear in my opinion, in recent times (may be 30 years or later). Under the Holy Trinity of Luck:- a. Heaven Luck - Is based on when we are born and our luck or our destiny from that day b. Earth Luck - Feng Shui of a home or office c. Human Luck - In the past, human luck does not really costs any monetary value. But, with so many people, using our feelings to get us to buy products in the "name-of-Feng Shui". Usually most products are c…

Dear Vun Fook, For water positions: 1. Particularly for Period 7 homes, where there is double #7's under Period 8 (due soon), water positions can be used, here. 2. For example, for N2 (352.5 to 7.4) and N3 (7.5 to 22.4) which has double 7's at it's facing direction, unlike, your case where you want to enhance #6 strong metal(s) with water, water positions at Period 8 "bad metal sector 7" should be used to "drown" or neutralise the #7. 3. For some homes, the alternative may be to see if it is better to change to Period 8. (This depends on the interior layout and the Period 8 N2 or N3 star chart). 1. Therefore, it may not be totally true or 100 percent true for all…

1. One of the key success factors is to determine what are the Flying Star numbers good or bad that is at the facade of a specific area of a home. 2. Thus, if the home isa landed property with four "facings"; it is good to encourage qi to flow either thru an opening such as a door or a window. 3. Therefore, look out for good flying star numbers such as: current prosperity stars #8 and future-future prosperity stars such as #1; often #9 is favourable also provided it is not "mixed" with #5 or #2. 4. From the above example under Para 3, if say; your main entrance door has either a mountain star #8 or a water star #8 or better still double #8's then; it is 10 times better…

Dear Benjamin, Please see below:- Yes, it is prefered to have a water fountain at the frontage of the house. Usually, the water fountain should be low and this would represent clear space at the front. And a fountain can help to circulate `vibrant' Qi at the entrance. In your case, you can still leave the fountain there but consider other water element e.g. in colour such as grey, black or blue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, It is interesting to find out the survey results under http://www.geomancy.net/polls/ for this poll under the above link:- Are you comfortable sleeping facing a TV set (mirror)? A short simple 3 questions survey. (The third last poll) One can find that not all of us are `affected' by mirror facing the bed. However, one simple method is to either use opaque film over the mirror or place paper over the mirror e.g. tape plain paper over it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anamika, 1. Some of us are more sensitive than others with regards to the placement of a mirror facing the bed. 2. If the mirror is not facing any part of the bed (of the bedroom) then this is still considered OK. 3. If there is an attached bathroom in the master bedroom, a side table with a reading lamp can be used to act symbolically to shield the bed from the bathroom (door). 4. As mentioned by you; for mirrors, if it is placed in the bathroom door, it should preferably be placed on the inside of the toilet door (facing the bathroom) and not on the door facing the bedroom. 5. In my opinion, it is not compulsory to place a mirror on the inside of a toilet door fo…

1. So sorry, this site does not use the "Fixed Template" type of "thing"."Thing" as I cannot can it Feng Shui. Anonymous wrote: I'm moving to a new home where the basement stairwell is in the Marriage/Relationships area of the house. There are five steps down, a landing with a full sized window facing north, and then..turning right... eight steps down into the basement. Do I treat it with colors and cures as the Marriage/Relationship area? Or, do I treat it as a missing part of the house?

Dear Anon, In Feng Shui, we always try to find a `breadwinner' i.e. the person who brings in the most money. When using the Eight House Theory, try to check that the death/disaster sector is not at the main entrance door area. We should not have a micro view of the situation. In using the Eight House, you must also find out e.g. what is the intangible force affecting your bedroom. And other rooms you spent time at. It generally tells you how well suited are you to your home. You can also use the Eight House Theory to find a good sitting position e.g. facing a good direction for study, work... Other than this, the Eight House Theory has limited applications. Warmest Rega…

Dear Anon, 1. In general, it is best to determine which location is the kitchen in? 1.1 If the kitchen is located at the South (compass direction); then overall, a stove/cooker is able to face a water position. The consideration here is that South = Fire element and a stove/cooker can face a water position (to cool down the `south' / fire sector). 1.2 But if the kitchen is at the North (compass direction): then it is advisable as the Feng Shui book suggest; not to let the stove/cooker face the water position. Here, since North = water (the fire of the stove/cooker can easily be `extinguished'. For other sectors, in my opinion, if there is not much choice, Para 1.1 can st…

Dear James, 1. In my opinion, the biggest influence in the home (`Earth' luck) relates more to the external environment, the site and the home. 2. Usually, other than the external environment and the site, the next important consideration is the (entire house). 3. Therefore; even if you had rented a room, it is but of secondary importance as the whole house has to be related to. 4. What I am trying or hoping to emphaise here is that your room is but just one sector of the whole house. 5. Usually, a full house is audited and checked for any imbalances (if any) within each sector. If there are any imbalance, then it should be `cured'. Say, after applying the cure for that s…

Dear Kok Seng, If you have a relatively large garden or a garden cum car-park, then, see if you have a sufficient wall e.g. a brick wall to shield your home from this "T" junction. The other alternative is if allowed, often, the exterior of your home has some plants or bush such as a garden balcony attached to your brick wall. Or, have plants to help shield your home from this Sha Qi. Hopefully, your main door cannot be directly seen from this "sha qi". If so, the tradition, is to place a ba gua mirror above the main door or the windows facing this `threat'. Apply proper Feng Shui to: 1. fix leaks - if any in a home 2. enhance using both Shapes and Forms and Flying s…

I need to improve my health, myrelationships, and my income/career. 1. In the bedroom, I can?t place the bed (140*200cm)in a way to have 2 nightstands and comfortable walking space around the bed, orto have no noise during night coming from the window. 2. At the moment, I believe there is no other choice but to use offsite consultation services. If you a sketch of how your `L shaped' house and need to find the centrepoint... feel free to upload to this forum i.e. The conference for attaching layout. For your information, we are currently collaborating on an the Italian version of GEOMANCY.NET run by reputable professionals who is also one of my students. More details in the future.. Dear Kenny, Please see below:- This is good. More importantly, it is best to look at the entire building/block in relation to the Shapes and Form of the location, here. Is the piece of land where the whole block can accumulate wealth or where it flows off. Other consideration is that are there any poison arrows aimed at the apartment through windows.. This has to be looked into carefully. This is ok:) More importantly, best to look out for missing corners in the home. So long as the bed or other furniture are arranaged in good Shapes and Form, this should be acceptable. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Frankly; I would believe that one of the chief concerns would be security - since after office hours - it would seem quite a vacant place to be at. 2. Honestly, since no two places are the same, external environment, the site, the place or location of where your "home" is has to be considered. Such question that you had asked cannot be answered by just posting a one liner and waiting for a full "cure" if there is any.

Dear Rose, Generally, for house number there is very little you can do as I believe no one can just change a number just like that. However, from what you have described, it would seem that the Flying Star of your house at one of the key sectors (either main door, bedroom where you and your husband sleep, or a room where you and your husband spends a great deal of time in) contains combinations of two stars which results in robbery etc. Generally, in order to cure the problem you need to know what is the cause. Without it, it is difficult to advice you how to cure the problem or make improvements to the home. If the problems lies with the Flying star applying the …

Dear Grace, 1. Chinese Astrology signs:- a. 27 Jan 1971 to 14 Feb 1972 = Year of the Metal Pig. b. 17 Feb 1969 to 5 Feb 1970 = Year of the Earth Rooster. 2. Under the Chinese Astrology, the Pig is more compatible (excellent) match with the animal sign of the RAM (2003). 3. For the Year of the Horse, both the Pig and the Rooster has to be more understanding and tolerant of the Horse sign. 4. In my opinion, under Ba Zi (Pillars of Destiny) - the Year and Day of birth are considered important for `compatibility' purposes. Thus, even if say one is thinking of having a child (in a year); it boils down to not only the Year of birth but on which day, the child is also born. Thes…

Dear Joan, 1. Actually, there isn't anything too major to be overly concerned with. But definately, keeping the door and toilet bowl close is good enough solution for this. 2. Does your house have a final door before it goes to the yard or common area. Usually if this door will be considered the final extend of your house area. If not, then it is not really considered part of the house area. 3. Under the water classic, it is auspicious to see water flowing in the home. For the back, you must make sure that anywhere from your backyard you should not see any open drain to back house. 4. If you do not see it then it is not a problem. If you do, then if possible …

Dear Robin, First of all, a warm welcome to this forum. Feel free to check back past messages which I believe, would help to understand Traditional Feng Shui. 1. The key essence of a good Feng Shui house is based on Shapes and Form School. 2. In order to achieve a quantum Leap in Feng Shui and not entangled under a vicious cycle of `poor' Feng Shui is to look at how a piece of land (it can be the entire neighbourhood) and your specific piece of land can be seen to be able to accumulate wealth. 3. Here, for example, even before one builds a home on the land, a competent FS practitioner is sought to advise on the piece of land and plot where a house can be constructed which…

Dear Viren, In my opinion, it is best to relook at your Marketing and Sales strategy, first. Here, `packaging' of your product and how it can achieve sales through the distribution channels. As Feng Shui or Chinese divinity methods, emcompass a wide field especially for a company. It is harder to apply Feng Shui or Chinese divinity methods as a full scale of methods i.e. depth and breath may have to be used such as analysis of : owner(s); the company's location; the owner(s) Pillars; the owner's home. In fact, a whole barrage of Feng Shui and Chinese divinity methods may have to be used in a holistic way in order to improve one's `luck' or the company's luck. What I feel…
