Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. Dear Guest, Nntp Guest wrote: Does a Christian Cross on the opposite neighbour main door generate equally bad sha qi that warrants a bagua to "defend"? Tks Yes, thecross on the church is also deemeda sha qi. So yes, the bagua is also sometimes used to defend such a situation. Hope that helps. I recently moved into a high-rise condo where my bedroom window is facing a funeral home. In addition to that my condo is on the 4th floor and has a 4 in the room number. I’m not allowed to hang anything outside my window because it may fall and hurt someone walking below. I am looking for guidance as to what Bagua mirror to buy and where to put it, I only know that the mirror should not be in the home. Any help would be grateful, thank you.

Frankly, I did not zoom in to individual stacks / unit. Thus, ROUGHLY, these stacks should either face marking in BLUE "A" or marking in GREEN "B". Of course, please do your own homework and don't rely totally on the info, below. Note: I don't general quick glance / eye-ball only.

Hi Cecil This advice regarding bunk beds was given to me by a Feng Shui practitioner over here. As this person is consulted by our Chamber of Commerce and many other corporations I assumed the advice would hold some authenticity. I guess one has to be very very careful who one listens to regarding general FS advice. Cheers Glyn

This are some considerations: 1. Common sense Feng Shui 1.1. The stove should not be too close to a sidewall especially if later, one needs to place a large wok onto the stove. Here, if the wall is too close; the wok simply can't be placed onto the stove. In addition, if the stove is too close to the wall, flames will get to it. 1.2. For the Chinese, we often fry our food; thus it is often not a good idea to place any other items be it a cabinet or a fridge too close to the stove. Here, after a few months, the side of the fridge would often be soaked with deposits of cooking oil. 1.3. The stove should not have the neighbour's drainage pipe or sewerage pipe above the stove…

Greetings Mr Lee, Thank you in advance for your very important advice! 1) Regarding accessing/buying a house, do we base the "House Number Report' on the date the house was built, or the date we plan to buy the house (2020)? 2) As we move forward in time will the Date ranges (for Example: 2024-2043) have an effect on the homeowners or is it still based on the original date that the house was built? 3) Will repairs or remodeling effect the house expression? and to what extent? for example painting add new flooring etc. or does it change when a new room is added? 4) I am wanting to understand if I need to look at all three periods from the date …

  18. Dear Ray, I would have to say: "it depends". Much of Feng Shui has to do with commonsense approach. For example, if the property is already at a low level, often it is not advantages to have a low lying living room. This is because, if there should be a severe flooding in a location that has frequent floods, it would mean that the entire room will be affected by water. However, in many new condos, which is elevated, having steps going down to the living room is perfectly ok. As you mentioned, 2 steps down. Two steps down is considered OK or auspicious as found under the attachment : methodology for the number of steps. However, in Feng Shui, it is not that fav…

In an article I wrote much earlier at http://www.geomancy.net/fs/photo1.htm there is a picture (Picture 3) where this house has it's back at the junction of a major traffic light junction. The owner went to the extent of erecting a high brick wall and he even placed two Chinese warrior statues and recently he even place a sign between the two Chinese warrior with the words " Fort Meyer " (Meyer refering to the side road to his house). At the foot of the two statues, he placed a wide variety of cactus. On the top of the walls he placed at roughly 2 feet intervals Chinese lamp to represent `lighting' up the place. Imagine, this person went to so much extent to protect…

  22. Dear Cecil, According to the Flying Star for the East frontage house, you have two proposed solutions: 1) Make use of Fire to destroy and control Metal (this means I should paint my front door RED) 2) Make use of Metal to destroy and control Wood (this means I should paint my front door WHITE) So what color should I paint my front door? Red or White? (FYI, I'm a Strong Water, and I have Zero Fire in my element chart. So probably Red is a better choice. What do you think? Many THANKS in advance to you. Hoa

These are some of the considerations:- 1. For a new development - yet to be completed.. have a mental picture of where the aftersun rays fall. 2. Even in a afternoon sun facing unit: visualise whether the sun rays are going to fall on the unit between 12pm ... usually if partially blocked by another near-by unit: afternoon sun is most likely between 12pm towards 2 to 3pm. If fully unblocked; afternoon sun can bathe that part of the home (wall or windows) from 12pm to 5pm - this is pretty hot. 3. What material is facing the afternoon sun? If the walls are thin prefabricated walls or just one layer of brick walls bathed by the afternoon sun, even at 7 to 8 pm; heat can …
