Overall, there are so many different shapes and designs and it is quite difficult to place them into specific categories. Dear Derek, If you are taking the compass direction of your unit's main entrance door, this should usually be the door to your unit i.e. as you had mentioned it should be the `North'. Dear Anon, Thank you for your clarification. 1. Techically, what I said was correct. However, a mountain star (if it is found) should be activated instead at the back portion of the house. For example, in your situation, where you had mentioned that you have activated a mountain over the `frontage'. Do remove the `mountain' at the frontage even if it is on the second storey. Symbolically, it is not corret to do so. We do not want a mountain blocking our `water' or clear space. It can be tried but not sure, if it would work as there are still toilets at the centrepoint of the house. 2. Dear Radha, Generally, if the renovations are major (ie replacing roofs / hacking of walls / adding roomsetc), then your house would have moved to 1990s (period 7). Usually for houses that are old, it can be sometime hard to say for sure unless you know what have been done.
