Dear GY, Yes, it is nice-to-have (not must-have) a date to start work (repainting). And if the gate is changed nearly the same time, then, no need to choose another good day.

Dear Ken, Quote: Ken L. wrote: However in my four pillars, I have lots of water, in fact too much. Of course that makes me strong wood too but water becomes my unfavourable element. 1. In this case, you were derived as a strong wood person as the breakdown of your chart has lots of water. 2. As are a strong wood person, then your best colours are: 1. Fire (Red, pink or purple) 2. Metal (White, silver or gold). 2.1 Your wealth colour is Metal. Quote: Ken L. wrote: Someone else say never to have too much water effect in my home, including painting blue because I need to get rid some water in my life. 2.2 Thus, if you are the main breadwinner of the home, based on yo…

So sorry I believe there are no books on the subject of x3 Roosters that I am aware of! Frankly, in my opinion, it is a coincidence of x3 Roosters and as you have mentioned, should not have an impact on your dad's "scam" issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Based purely on Ba Zi interpretation, it would stillbe good for the person to be a "strong wood" person in order to benefit from a "metal" career. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Perhaps, it is best to clarify your statement. As Tai Sui or Grand Duke usually refers to the situation, where planet Jupiter has the greatest magnetic field and for this year, the Grand Duke (Tai Sui) is located at North sector). Thus, it would not be good to especially do renovations, at this sector. And other things. Thus Tai Sui / Grand Duke is not an object that you can purchase and place it in the home.

1. Feng Shui is about location, location and location. 2. The above takes prime importance, first priority over the interior layout of the home. 3. Have come across several homes like yours with such staircases at the middle of the home. From landed property to penthouses in a condominium. 4. So far as Par 1 is favourable i.e. have good shapes and forms; frankly, one can still live with this problem! 5. Thus it is not the "end of the world" for you! If it is possible to screen the stairs from the main door; (it is one consideration). 6. Therefore, I believe, that your home can sustain, this. (Provided, there are no other major multiple "wealth leaks" in a home.) War…

Dear Joselyn, 1. Can understand your concern. It is very common even locally in Singapore for families to move their stove to the back of the home. But do take note of the following situations: 1.1 If possible for married couples, avoid having two stoves i.e. one in the back yard area and other stove in the "dry kitchen". 1.2 If there are two stoves installed, try to make sure that all (burners) hobs or burners add together totals = even number. Thus if the backyard stove has say 3 (burners) hobs, then the dry kitchen should preferably have 3 hobs and the combined total no. of (burners) hobs = 6. 1.3 Those induction stoves are not counted or should not be counted. Thu…

Dear Spring, Traditional Chinese customs does not have a "Tai Sui" talisman i.e. they are not called Grand Duke nor Tai Sui talisman. However, there are some standard charms to be placed above doors (purpose? To ward off evil). The blessed charms are obtained usually from Taoist priests. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Usually, or symbolically, a mole on one's back (of the body) may be considered as a "burden". But a mole on one's chest is very common. However, based on the concept: if it is not seen it is no longer a threat holds true! In the past, many people are concerned of moles especially at areas where it can be seen i.e. facial mole(s). In my opinion, it is highly unlikely that removing a mole on one's check can change one's life directly. However, one cannot discount one's mood i.e. if removing a mole gives the person perhaps some "uplift" or hope, and is not dangerous or leave some scars.. then no harm.. trying, thou. 1. South is the three killings sector thus avoid any renovations within this sector. 2. If this (South) or any other sectors have; for example flying star numbers like: MS#3 with WS#4 and Base #9, then it would be best to keep that sector "quiet". Thus if one's home and that sector has this then if we need to implement a cure, try not to use "noisy metal like wind chimes etc..." 3. Thus, it is fool-hardy to try to arrange the TV console area each year! Does not make any sense. Especially nowadays, many homes have a feature wall and some even have their TV sets "nailed" to the wall. 4. Thus, if we have fixed our TV sets or unmoveable console, it does not make sense to m…

1. Excluding one's Kua, Period 8, in general, NE1 & SW1 can enjoy sum-of-ten especially if the interior layout is squarish/rectangular shaped. For NE2/3 and/or SW2/3, can benefit from Parent String effect. Both homes should have as much open space if possible especially for the ground level : living/dining area. 2. Drainage out of the plot of a landed property is very important! For example, I have attached two samples:showing the degrees where drainage out of the home should best be located. Sample 1: NE1 Period 8 landed property. Note the specific degrees where drainage MUST exit the property. Sample 2: SW2 Period 8 landed property. Again, where the water or…

1. This layout is quite common. Usually, many owners erect a gypsum partition and take the opportunity to place their company logo and (for a business, a reception counter) and for e.g. retail outlet some window displays over this area. 2. As the picture shows that the staircase is quite a distance away from the main door, have such a "screen" as mentioned above, will be fine. Thus if one cannot see it, it no longer becomes a threat. Quote: The main door of my new shop is facing the staircase. What can I do so that it will not affect my business as I can't change the door location as this is rented from the owner.

Dear Anon, 1. The entrance (or main entrance) is considered as very important. As in many instances ; many Feng Shui practitioners consider this as the "mouth" of the house. Thus since this is the "mouth" of the house, it should not leak qi as what you had mentioned .. i.e. a direct path of qi "leaking" out directly towards a window or door. 2. Another consideration is that especially for a landed property, it is very inauspicious to open the main door (or entrance door) and also immediately see the toilet bowl. Or a direct window or opening. 3. Many "acceptable" toilets have at least sharing a wall with the external wall. This is acceptable. Which means that in many c…

1. Many of us are totally focused only on just our Kua or Gua (Eight House) Feng Shui. 2. But more importantly, the House "Gua" or Kua is more important factor. House Gua often is based both on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui and Flying Star Feng Shui. 3. For personal Gua or Kua, do take note that between facing a good direction and spending time at a good sector, "spending time" prevails over facing a good direction. Although facing a good direction is "Nice-to-have" and not a must-have factor. 4. Lets go back to the start... if we can reverse time: "Finding a good home": Here, the "house gua" or simply Flying Star is used to look at the birth chart of the home. 5. And th…

Dear Keith, 1. It is good that you do a SEARCH under this forum to find your subject matter. For example, use the SEARCH feature for #5 or Five yellow. 2. There are various combination of star numbers with or without #5. Thus #5 can be combined with either one or both or all of #2, #3, #7 and another #5. Each of these have somewhat slightly different significance. 3. About commercial products: In my opinion, many products that one has purchased usually lines the pocket of the seller. In ancient times, there are no such products. Thus many use "in the name of Feng Shui" to sell this and that product. In my opinion, products are modern invention, mostly toentice us to…

Dear Michelle, 1. It is very common for the type of development you had mentioned not to have a costly basement. In fact, majority of such apartments both in Telok Kurau and many locations in Singapore. 2. The major concern with having a car park right below any apartment unit are: 2.1 Although a fire breaking out i.e. a car on fire is rare, but should a car or van burst into flames, the logic is that fire rises upwards. 2.2 Some Feng Shui practitioners don't like homes that are not "grounded" on the ground.. Such homes are considered as sitting on "stilts" or not on firm ground. Thus for example, homes above a shopping complex or above a carpark to these Feng Shui pr…

1. If Flying Star Feng Shui is applied:- 1.1 If the home is a Period 7: 1984 to 2003 and is a NW1 or NW2 or NW3 home. The water wealth is located at the centre of the home. This type of home, is considered as having "small" luck because the water wealth is "trapped" at the centre of the home. Thus, a water feature can be placed here to bring "small" luck. 1.2 For many new homes built from 2004 to 2023, then the base is #8 and not so advantages to have a water position at the centrepoint of the home. Unless there is moving water flowing from the front to the centre or if the drainage out of the home has been properly looked at from a Feng Shui point of view. 1.3 Many Pe…

In my opinion, there is no "magic" attached to dzi beads. Thus it is not something magical or suppose to be health giving etc... Buying it is like buying any other decorative pieces - but never in the name sake of Feng Shui or cures. Some like it, buy it and are happy over it, that's fine. Australians have their opal mines .. opals... the Chinese (and Mynmar formerly Burma) have their jade. These are more "valuable" assets.. Quote: Anonymous wrote: i know i'm very new at this.Your thoughts on dzi beads, positive or more useless bought objects?

1. Usually indoor plants are often waxy and darker green colour. These are the most suitable indoor plants. 2. There are at least three very common bamboo plants. The advantage of bamboos are that they are very hardy and some varieties grow very well indoors with little maintenance. 3. Symbolically, to the Chinese, bamboo represents "youth" and when combined with some other characters could mean "longevity". 4. So long as the plants does not have thorns; they are generally acceptable although preference is on the porch and often not found in the interior of the home.

1. Some Feng Shui practitioners a have "rigid thinking" which they felt that any apartment BLOCK on "stilts" or standing on legs are no good. Here, some Feng Shui practitioners felt that the entire block is at risk of "loss of wealth". For example, to these Feng Shui practitioners, so long as any property is not on land or on the ground and supported even by levels of car park are considered not good. 2. In Singapore, the Ritz Carlton hotel was "Feng Shuied" and was built on such a column "or void". 3. Again, in Singapore, approximately 80 to 90 percent of Singaporeans live in a Housing Board (HDB apartment). And as…
