Hi Cecil, My husband and purchased a property that settled on January 21st 2024 (period 8 ) and we moved all our belongings into the home immediately. However, we did not sleep there ourselves until February 8th 2024 (which is period 9). Which period do I use to calculate my flying star combination? An additional question about the Mountain star and Water star. As we are located in Australia, Southern Hemisphere, are the stars the same or are they flipped (as North is the "sunny" side and South is the "dark" side in terms of daylight) Thanks, Elissia

Dear Master Lee, Let me first thank you for all these great resources. I have been lurking around to learn more about Feng Shui and your website has been of great help. Recently, we moved in our new home. The land is not square/rectangular and I'm afraid this could affect us. I believe we have a missing corner at the back of our land as you can see in this picture. Is there any remedy that we can apply to mitigate this issue? I have included a picture of our lot. Thank you!

Hi! My Kua number is 9, and I am supposed to be an East person. I am moving to a rented condo unit, where I have two options: 1. Main door is facing East, and balcony is facing East 2. Main door is facing North, and balcony also is facing North. May I know which one I should select? Thank you! Regards, Kim

These are some considerations:- 1. Main Door facing Door of Bomb Shelter in condo 1.1. The main consideration under symbolism in Feng Shui is that the Main door should not be facing a staircase that leads down to the lower unit. 1.2. For example, when say the bomb shelter door is (always) open and from one's main door one can see the staircase; then this is not ideal. 1.3. But, based on building regulations; the good news is that all these doors must remain shut at all times. If so, and also even if the door is opened fully; it opens to only the landing (of the staircase) then this is a non-issue. 1.4. If so, it is equivalent to one's main door facing another unit's ma…

Dear Master Lee, My new neighbour just moved in opposite my unit. They have a bagua at the back door, which kind of faces my front door, about 45 degrees; if I stand at my front door, I still can see it. We have a high fence and a tree semi-blocking it. The picture attached is the view from my front door. Can you please advise if there is any remedy? Thanks. Regards, Wayne

1. The stove is traditionally positioned lower than the sink in most cases. 2. In Singapore, there are over 3,000 condominiums and landed properties where the stove and sink are often at the same height, so the sink being higher than the stove is not a major concern. 3. Following the example from the previous point, it is possible to have both the sink and stove at the same level. 4. Many condominiums opt for a stove cum sink table top that is around 34 inches in height. 5. It is recommended to use 34 inches as the standard table height, as it is the most practical choice. However, 33 inches can also be considered. 6. To be on the safe side, 34 i…

Hi, I have read conflicting things about whether living right next to a roundabout is good or bad for the energy of the home. Some practitioners seem to feel the circular energy is too harsh and confused and others feel it's neutral or even positive. We have the opportunity to purchase a new home on the lot marked with a red arrow. Wondering if we should pick this one or stay away. For reference the street with the roundabout does not have much traffic. For Flying star enthusiasts it is S1 facing period 9 which makes this a 7 star robbery chart. Please advise and TIA for any thoughts!

Hello Everyone, This is my first time posting here, I’d like to seek some any kind advice and guidance from all of you. Me and my wife bought an old apartment unit, and the apt is currently undergoing renovation process. As we started reno works, we discovered that the planned kitchen area sits below a bathroom area of the unit sitting above ours. When I checked the piping, there is a discharge pipe from the unit above right below our planned stove area. We cannot move our kitchen, due to apartment design restrictions, so our kitchen area has to be placed under the same spot. The area around discharge pipe has been having some leakage problems a…

Hi Master just read somewhere that annual flying star matters more. Is that true? If my house period flying star is very good, does that means i do not need to care about annual flying stars? Or if my house has bad period flying stars, it is best that i move? Best regards Lizhi

Dear Ulla, 1. In all honesty, the various practitioners or masters who utilize time zone or location factors to modify the original ba zi are relatively recent developments advocated by modern practitioners. 2. Perhaps the only method that could be somewhat logical is applying the location factor to adjust the location to the current moon location. However, even this approach presents numerous challenges. For instance, a slight deviation of 0.01 degree in latitude or longitude can significantly alter your ba zi chart, resulting in less accuracy compared to not considering the hour of birth. Additionally, most individuals do not possess the exact information. …

Dear Airvrm, In response to my previous message, I was unable to determine the location of your Main entrance door due to the absence of a North to South indicator on your graphic layout. However, I have already identified the center of the house for you, which you can use as a reference point to determine the direction of your house. If you are following the 8 house theory, each compass point is at a 45-degree interval. For instance, North is at 0 degrees, North-East is at 45 degrees, and East is at 90 degrees. Therefore, you can identify the closest degree to determine the direction. It is recommended that you do some research on this matter. If yo…

Is this considered a bad layout to even consider? Looks like a pistol. I have seen the unit and after reno, living and kitchen is a wonderful space. Common rooms side looks a bit cluttered.

Hi Master, Would like to get your advice regarding a shelf place (with shoes) outside my opposite neighbour door which I can see clearly when standing near my door when I am inside. Understand that the edge and shelves acts as poison arrows. Have spoken to him before and the previous items (long shoe rack and chairs) were removed. But a few weeks later, new surprises will appear (recently a bigger shelves that was removed and replaced by current shelf). Other than speaking to him again, what can I do to reduce the bad effects of the shelf. As I believe after speaking to him and having the current shelf removed, a week or few weeks later, more surp…

You wrote: "If one's maternal grandmother pass away, does the wedding need to be conducted within 100 days or postpones to 3 years later?" Yes, this is by-right (or considered "politically correct" statement). Or "should be the case". You also wrote: "I have checked various sources which mostly mentioned these only affected to one's parents, only a few mentioned that this taboo affected to grandparents as well." Again, there is no hard or fast rule. Nowadays; some are quite lax with the interpretation; especially in the context thatthat specific grandmother(was) not staying with them. Thus take it as more "distant". But traditionally; yourfirst statement shouldbe the corr…

1. Other considerations include information from this link:- http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/art/art-under.htm 2. For example, it is never wise to have a bed directly above a sewerage pipe. 3. Thanks for your picture. Frankly, of course, in a perfect world; one should'nt even have a sewer pipe cum sewer junction / man-hole at all! 4. But we all live in a real world. In Singapore, like every other country; often sewerage man-holes are either at the front or the back of the home. No choice as these are put in place by a developer. 5. Of course it would be perfect or nice if it runs behind the home. 6. In this real world (not make believe); do check how the sewerage pipe…

My bedroom, that is also my main workspace area has two doors facing each other. It is one room that has two doors, kind of like a hallway. I sleep quite comfortably as I can see both doors when I am laying in bed, but my back is towards the doors when I'm working at my desk, which is where I spend most of my time. The window in my room is towards the backyard and it does have curtains. The wardrobe in my room is actually made of two separate but equally sized smaller wardrobes. How and what should I move to get the most benefits and comfort?

Hello Master, I am not familiar with these practices, but my mother-in-law gifted us a 'Fu' decoration to put up in our house for CNY 2023. It was blessed (?) by a master. Her belief is that it must not be taken down until the next CNY where we replace it with a new one, as the house will continue to receive blessings. However, my paternal grandmother has just passed away 5 days ago, and I know we won't be celebrating any occasion within the next 100 days. Can I remove the 'Fu' or am I supposed to just leave it on the wall until CNY 2024? Thank you so much for your advice.
