Further to what I had mentioned: 1. Please see attachment. 2. Three of themore important concepts under Can or Cannot Buy a home (apartment) are highlighted in RED box areas: numbered as 1, 2 and 3. 3. Location, location, location. This imply that even if or "so what" if the frontage is suitable to the person?" especially if the external Feng Shui has either threats or not so fantastic. 3.1. Here, even when seeking advice; can't just say " the frontage (or you may like to call it main door) is suitable to the person. But, one is looking at isolation. 3.2 One can have the most perfect home within the four walls of the house. But if outside is "condemned".. this is even wo…

1. Usually, in Asian society, often, we should (unfortunately) respect the advice of our elders. Thus, if your elders or either side of the family (husband or spouse) elders say so; as a mark of respect, try to give them due respect. 2. Actually, every lunar month has it's good and bad days. And even in a 7th month; there are both good and bad days. A wider interpretation to some is that as the 15th lunar day of the 7th month had just passed by; to some this is interpreted as the "end" of the 7th month. 3. The date you had chosen is phonetically auspicious sounding: 9 9 09. But this does not matter to the elders.. as to them... it is still considered the 7th month so lo…

Dear Carlos, Sometimes indeed we may have a hard time figuring out an element of an object. But, it does not necessarily mean that an object should only have one element. In your case, please see below:- Hexagonal shape is often regarded as `Earth element'. While the glass cover, because of its density (e.g. tempered glass) can be considered as `Metal' element. Yellow cloth can be consdered as the `Earth' element. Following, what was mentioned in the earlier responses, rather than be specific with just one material, one can have a combination of these to make up the Five elemets concept. To answer your question, since your table has quite a lot of elements, and i…

Dear Marian, Please see below, This is because it is so easy to quote raw data in only just a few lines and wait for a full assessment. Imagine, if every forum member does this, I am not sure how I am going to manage it. There are already specific tools available. Or make use of any competent FS practitioners anywhere. So, I really appreciate if users do not simple quote such information. Especially in this forum since it is specific only to that individual. As another person's home will certainly not share the same stars or Gua (Kua) number. It is best to use a three-step approach to form the basis of solid grounding in Feng Shui: 1. Understand the purpose of each c…

Dear Wasis, If one is purchasing an existing home, it is always good to learn more about the history of the house. For example, if there is only one previous owner, (no tenants) simply, the owners are staying in the apartment, it is best to find out the purpose for their move. If it is a `valid' reason, for example, they are moving because of relocation of work in another county or to upgrade their home. Particularly, if it is for upgrading, this is a good `sign'. If a house was built e.g. in the 1950s or earlier, it is good to check it's history of occupants. For any situations e.g. suicide, murder etc... I hope the above clarifies. If not, feel free to let me know. Warm…

Dear Sophia, Sophia Chia wrote: Many tks4 reply. Well, anyidea what arethe different the price tag withcents or without cent tag on the item (eg cloth with price tag $19.90 or $19.00). I'm not very sure off it but I believe it is also deal with 00 ending sound inauspicious. As most shopping selling price tagthe cents is always included in it. Please advice. I believe this is more marketing than feng shui. You see the reason why most people will price at 19.90 or 19.99 is that to the person buying it it does not seem like $20 as it is like or within the $10 plus. But in actual fact, it is actually $20. Just like if you price $99. It seems like it is less than $100 so mo…

Dear Anon, 1. Feng Shui is not like the latest US predator remote control plan or using Laplink file transfer. Or it cannot be like the use of PC anywhere or Carbon copy softer. Nor telnet or weblogin. 2. Your earth luck will be determined by where you stay most of the time. In your description, this is in City B. 3. In another example: If one owns two cars, the car that one drives will `influence one'. An Illustration: Volvo or Skoda? ================================ 4. For example, if a person happens to own a Volvo and another car e.g. Skoda; and happens to drive the Volvo at that time. Fortunately for the person, he was lucky as he survived e.g. a serious accident but…

Dear Darlene, It is difficult for me to recommend you on a print or photo as Feng Shui dwells more deeper than just a print or photo. The holistic approach to Feng Shui involves, a serious look at the Shapes and Forms both of the environment, the site and the home and the interior. Prints, photos are secondary and if this question was asked other than from a Traditional Feng Shui site, you can get remarkable `results'. Perhaps been asked to buy a special print that the author and some other sites would earn a commission out of. Even in Traditional Feng Shui, more need to be known. In my opinion, buy what you like or enjoy. Buy not because, one is `told' that it can bring …

Dear Anon, Please see below:- It is still acceptable to have water at the East in a very general sense. A more professional approach is to extend the Flying Star of the house, and map it over this area. More importantly check that there are no imbalances with water at the east. For example, if the sector is already `full' of water element, this is no good. Alternatively if that sector needs more water element, then water outside this area is good. But if the sector needs Fire element to cure an imbalance and you have water, as Water diminises fire, or drown it, this would not be ideal. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Frankly, I did not zoom in to individual stacks / unit. Thus, ROUGHLY, these stacks should either face marking in BLUE "A" or marking in GREEN "B". Of course, please do your own homework and don't rely totally on the info, below. Note: I don't general quick glance / eye-ball only.

Hi Carrie Are you sleeping in your Death or Disaster Sector ? This could be contributing to your problem. I have noticed in my practice that when clients complain of insomnia, invariably their bedrooms have yellow or blue walls. And, these two colors in many cases are usually activating some inauspicious stars which are contributing to the sleep problem. There appear to be many problems which you will have to address, but I give my input based on my experiences to date. Best wishes Glyn

Dear Kian Yuk, kian yuk wrote: we live in a house facing northeast(kun house), but all of us having the same Gua 9 opposing with our house. we do not know what to do or how to recognise auspicious and inauspicous directions of the house. Unfortunately, for a unsuitable house there is very little you can do to correct the suitability unless you can change your main door or facing direction. Usually, if the house falls under death or disaster for both person or at least for the breadwinner, the long term solution is to move out to a more suitable house, otherwise it is very difficult for you to enjoy the full amount of luck from the house. I know that moving out is the ha…

Sorry, I hope you can clarify further what you mean by " we can only position the bed without headboard- directly under a window. " Do you mean to say that it is something similiar to a low ceiling or resembling a pillar. Thanks in advance!

The rationale for not placing a bed below a window is actually more for privacy than in Feng Shui. So long as the window is " matted " or uses opaque glass or a thin film that prevents someone from peering into the room. Another point is that if the whole area has a low ceiling but uniform, then this is not considered as a `column' or `beam' above one's head. Hope that helps.

Dear Toni, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Friday, April 09, 1999 2:32 PM Subject: Re: stove next to fridge?? Since the stove is in the south, this is acceptable because at the south position, the stove is able to `retain' the heat as it is at it's most comfortable location i.e. South. Normally, if the stove is at the South position, you can have the stove face a water element e.g. a frige. This is because a stove at the south can still be `cooled' down by the water element opposite it. Contrast this if you place a stove e.g. in the North sector. Here, you must not let th…

it does not effect your wealth if your washing area or your kicthen area faces your main door, please check your flying star of that area , you can put a screen between your main door and the kicthen.

Dear Anon, Grateful if you can further elaborate on the extension. For example is it an `external' extension for a car park or an internal one. If internal, what is it used for. In addition, anyone who is familiar with the history of the house. This is because, beside the new extension, we could perhaps, `back-track' to see if any events match the flying star of the period. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Amanda, In my opinion, it is difficult to associate a vehicle problems with self - Feng Shui. However, under the Five elements concept, we could chose a colour of a car that harmonises with our element. For example, a person with `weak wood' can be advised to purchase a car that is blue or green. (First choice: Blue/grey or black). As FS and Pillars are holistic methods, one may have to look at one's element and strength, the house Feng Shui (where we try to avoid or neutralise `bad luck' such as sectors of the house with `misfortune' #5 stars (if we are basing to FS/ Pillars). Otherwise, it could be real mechanical problems with your car etc... Warmest Regards, Ceci…
