Dear Anon, If your bedroom is in the East and that your house has been either built within 1984 to-date or any major renovation of an existing home within this period, most likely, the house will be affected by this " Five Yellow " star. In your case, based on your limited information, it would seem that the facing direction should be North as opposed to NW (main door direction). Do check out the above information. Dear Stephanie, 1. In my opinion, this is not a `major' problem when we consider many other problems that can arise from other `bad Feng Shui'. 2. Usually, when two doors face each other - it is considered not so good because of the belief that the two parties in either of the rooms may become logger heads with each other. Particularly if they are young children. For adults, it depends on the maturity of the parties. 3. Some FS practitioners may ask one to use a windchime (below one of the door frame of one door only). Dear Elena, If the main door is at the facing direction, you may consider tilting it to away from this double facing position. Otherwise, frankly, there is no way of "tilting" the entire facing direction -- just not possible, here. Dear Chee Kiong, Actually, the clue has to do with the "strength" of your element. For example, there is a difference between a "weak" fire person and a "strong" fire person. Under the Five elements concept; the idea is that if one is weak, one should increase one's element. While on the other hand if one is strong, one should try to decrease it. Here, in both instances, what we try to do is to become "balanced" i.e. a "balanced" fire element that is neither too weak or too strong. Dear Diana, In my opinion, there is no evidence or detailed studies done on the situation faced by you. Although, it is not good to have such a hole especially if it collects stagnant water (for a few days). As mentioned, frankly, there is not much documented cases of bad feng shui relating to your situation. If one's current situation is not that good and in the immediate future, you do not intend to build a pool, it is best to see if it can be leveled.
