General Help

Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. 1. In Feng Shui, there are "fixed" formulas e.g. Eight House and Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. But, in the realm of numerology, there are so many varied methods and interpretations. For example, phoentic sound-like to many is equally important. Cantonese Chinese don't like "4" or "44" etc... 3. And one method is converting your 780 into Chinese characters and counting the stokes etc.. Thus, since there is so vastly different methods of numerology i.e. the Chinese have many methods, the Indians have their numerology.. so where or how do you interpret 780? Since there is a right or wrong thus any interpretation usually gives a 50 percent chance!

    1. Strictly from a Shapes and Forms, position, the only "threat" that you may have to take note is the bedroom door. 2. The illustration shows that if your door is "half-closed" or "half-opened", the door is like a blade and may slice into the master bed .... as shown in a straight line "in purple colour" in the attachment. 3. For this bedroom, either fully open the door as you had illustrated or even better, if it can fully open towards "the blue marking". Or simply close the bedroom door when going to sleep. 4. As for "cures" if you have applied Flying Star Feng Shui, then it would depend on the Flying Star numbers found in that bedroom.

    1. Frankly, spook or irritation are very close. Unless it is disaster vs spook or irritation or death vs spook or irritation, then there is a "vast" difference. 2. Thus in general, when it comes to the "eight house" or using it to allocate a bedroom; very hard to differentiate between spook or irritation. 3. And it seems that both children are of the "west" group, have to just go with your feel. Alternatively, if one is able to draw a flying star chart, then see which bedroom can match their bazi colours. For example, say the bedroom at the SW is better suited for some colours based on the flynig star. While some colours are to avoid. E.g. the bedroom should avoid Eart…

    1. In my opinion, the biggest mistake of many is that often, missing corners are never over looked while it is often that protrusions are always missed. 2. Thus just try to check to see or confirm the above. 3. Since missing corners may be interpreted differently depending where the missing corner, is. 4. For example. major missing corner at NW may impact on two issues: luck from heaven 2. luck of the breadwinner. 5. Usually if the missing corner makes up to 33.3 percent of the total area, it should be considered as minor missing corner. Thus no further action is needed.

    1. Usually weak metal(s) #7 can be neutralised by water element. 2. Do take note that if that sector has a #3 (bad wood) in combination with #7 then, it would not be adviceable to use water in that sector. As water will further fuels bad wood #3. (#3 is quarrels, conflicts, scandals, lawsuits) 3. Thus usually if the sector has the #3, water would be worse. This may explain why someone may try to use earth, perhaps, that person felt it is better to disarm bad wood with earth.

    1. In fact, as far back as 13 years ago, there was this "argument" with regards to Northern or Southern hemisphere. 2. The concensus amongst MAJORITY or ALL Traditional Masters is that there is no change. Everything should NOT be mirrored. 3. Majority of the feedback was:- 3.1 Many of the concepts use the lowest common denominator: The Five Elements concept. 3.2 Even in the Southern Hemisphere, North is North, South is South (unless one is exactly at zero degrees at North or South pole). Who lives at the North or South pole! 3.3 Thus just because the demonstration that when we empty the wash basin, the water "tornado" flow is a reverse or different in the north or so…

  9. 1. Frankly, the three-legged toad is considered like any other decorative figurine (full stop) 2. In symbolism, it is always good that figurines kept in a home, especially those that have an opened mouth, should have something in it's mouth. 3. The best thing you can do is to use any ordinary coin and stick it or (use blue tag or double sticking table). 4. Usually if it is a dragon figurine, a "fake" pearl in it's mouth would be an excellent choice. For this three-legged toad mouth, go for Para 3. Para 4, as a last resort.

    1. In theory, some Feng Shui practitioners automatically find that anything out of the ordinary is no good. 2. In my opinion, as the slanted ceiling is unlike a concentrated beam, should just leave it as it is. 3. A concentrated beam is no good as there is suppose to be a higher compression below it. While the slanted ceiling is totally flat much like a double decker bed which has a large flat surface. 4. Furthermore a higher ceiling improves air circulation or aids better dispersion of heat more efficiently. 5. For me, I would not be too concerned with it.

    1. Most likely, you may have to do like most people do, i.e. go with your personal feelings. 2. If you want to apply proper Feng Shui to evaluate your home, then the advice for a newbie is: Rome is not built in a day, and if you want to DIY Feng Shui, then like any other subject, one must invest in time and knowledge. Alternatively, if one is impatient and need immediate answers may consider hiring a practitioner, instead.

    1. In real life situations; we should consider concepts under the Eight house as "NICE-to-have" and not a "MUST-have". 2. It is best to find outwhat is the true purpose of the eight house theory and what are it's strengths and limitations:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/The_Three-Step-Approach 3. It works "best" when one is actively searching to buy a new home or remodelling a complete new home. 3.1. Here, it is good to locate sectors are good for us, as bedrooms or locations that we spent most time at. 3.2 Next best is to see if we can sit facing one of our better directions. 1. Frankly, especially if one is single, not only yourself but many teenagers have idols. And many of your age have pin-ups like what you have described. It is totally fine! 2. This is unlike a situation, where one is married and have this 60's pin-up in the master bedroom. Here, it would invite "jealousy" by one's partner! Especially if the only pin-up is of this lady and not your wife! Go ahead, to place the picture (photo)! Especially since it will make you happy and all these personalisation makes for a cosy room!

If your home is a P8 SE3, South sector has bad stars MS#5 with WS#3 and Base#3. Yes Yin water may be used to control MS#5. For the water you may place some crystals but not wood chips or plants in it. As this may inflame #3.

    1. In my opinion, your home should still be considered as a Period 7 home. (Unfortunately, it is not so simple to Fly to Period 8 as many have imagined). 2. Based on your description, in my opinion, it should usually be South facing. If you have stayed in this home for several years, no harm in drawing a Flying Star chart for both South and NW - and check to see if which is more accurate. (When checking the critical stars are #5, #2 and #3 negative stars which often leave some "clues" behind). 3. It is still a better choice to activate a water position (especially) if it could be done at the double #8 (current prosperity) sector. To "prevent" roving eyes, you can chec…

Imagine, if this is true:- 1. All Geomancers will be "shaking their legs" while waiting for the beginning of lunar new year! 2. In fact, some people were told to have their premises reviewed "Yearly"! This will be sweet news to the ears of every Geomancer! 2.1 Thus imagine, if a geomancer has 500 new clients every year! And if 50 percent of the 500 new clients asked for their home to be reviewed yearly or even ever 3 years! If we accumulate this 500 to every year of geomancer's service, he will be rich beyond the wildest dream! 3. Thus have anyone heard that a Geomancer only works in the beginning of the year and like bears hibernate the rest of the period? Yes / No?…

    1. Please note that generally "Feng Shui" cures are or should be considered as "preventive cures". It is not meant to be used for "existing situations" such as say constant backache etc.. 2. Whenever in doubt, always seek professional help! 3. The ideal choice is the luxury of selecting a home where in general, majority of the bad stars are not clusted at the "mouth" of the house (frontage) and anywhere that we frequently spent time at. Of course this is a luxury most cannot "afford" or too late since we have lived in the home. 4. Nowadays, if we want "clean" air, it is best to depend on Hepa cleaners (such as reputable brands like Honeywell air cleanrs or Japanese Sh…

    1. In my opinion, when you mention "south on the bagua", I may rightly or wrongly come to the conclusion that you are getting a template and placing it over the layout plan. 2. If you are considering the "modern commercial invention" of fixed template Feng Shui, where this "joker" prepares a template with markings like: North (career) ....... then, this practise is NON Traditional Feng Shui. 3. As I have mentioned, TRADITIONAL Feng Shui is about taking the correct directions and superimposing say a Flying star chart. If you are applying Flying Star Feng Shui, then South is south, north is north based on the magnetic compass. If not sure, re-read, and re-read again. Alt…
