    1. Please don't jump to the wrong conclusions. 2. Feng Shui also concerns with the amount of sun-light (or direct sun-light) coming into or "soaking into the walls of a home". 3. Please check out my previous postings with reference to Para 2. 4. Para 2 has nothing to do with Compass School of Feng Shui. Although, all "leaks" including Para 2 may add up to cause further problems. 5. Para 2, is about either the effects of direct sun-light (raditation) or heat (walls soak heat and slowly releases the heat in the evening - especially concern for countries close to the equator).

    1. Some people have the opinion that since (the person's) home is a period 7 home; they were "told" that their homes MUST fly to Period 8 in order to obtain positive luck. 2. In real life situations, some homes have expensive renovations done or the quality of build is at the premium or luxury level. And to make major renovations is both costly and not practical. 3. Thus whether the Flying Star chart is a Period 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8, one can still see if one can tap the beneficial benefits UNDER PERIOD 8. 4. For example, I had mentioned countless of times, that if you are applying Flying Star, then check to see if the following Flying Star numbers CAN or MAY be activa…

Dear Anon, 1. In my opinion, this has more to do with `beliefs' than Feng Shui. 2. However, if we look at some Chinese `beliefs', the Chinese favour `pairs' rather than a single object. 3. I am not sure how magical a Dragon Horse figurine or statue can be, but as you have mentioned, may use one or from the opinion of others two `Dragon Horse' may not necessary make any difference in our wealth. Well no harm to place 1 or a pair (2). Warmest Regards Cecil

The story about the Five Coloured Paper used in Qing Ming: In ancient China, there was once an Emperor who took over the throne. After he took over the throne, he visited the location where his father was buried. Legend was that he looked everywhere but could not find the tomb. He nearly gave up until, one of his loyal aids; asked him to throw the `five coloured paper' (which can also be written on). He threw the `five coloured paper' and one of them was lodged in the grass field. True enough, it was his father's tomb. Hence, it was said that from that day onwards, Chinese besides giving offering also placed colourful paper (5 types of colours) and insert them around th…

Hi again, I just wanted to tell you thank you for responding, I am very interested in learning feng shui, just some of it is complicated, and I have to think through it alot. Dear Tim, So such sectors must be corrected to avoid any potential problems. However, for most modern house, the better cure is to ensure that the area is decorated with more Metal influence (ie white colour decor, with more metal furniture etc.) As for the illness issues, besides such cures, it may also be good to have like the modern technology an HEPA air cleaner which can help to reduce germs and further reduce illness. It is just like even if the sector is suitable for you, but the sector can still have very bad feng shui. So the bad stars still have to corrected. Hope that helps. Hi Master Lee, I find your website very useful. I have a few questions which i hope you can help me with. My partner's (breadwinner)'s KUA # (9), his best direction is South. As such the main door of our flat should preferably be facing South? What are his alternative good directions? 2) Should we take into consideration the main door of our house, or where the flat faces? How do we tell where's the 'front' of the block of flat, esp withnew HDB flats built today (Seng Kang & Punggol)? 3) The flat we're looking at faces South. However it is in the line of 'death'. Do we need to put something to filter/block away? As we're free thinker, can we use a mirror / glass (o…

  10. Dear Nevine, nevine al seidi wrote: I am strong wood. This means my colour is green. Should I employ more red and fire element, more and more metal in my home to neutralize my nature? And does this mean I should surround myself with less living plants? I think you are a little confused here. Kua (Eight House) is often used more for most suitable/best facing etc. It is based on year of birth so it is less accurate when you are planning to use for personal analysis. Thus, even though there is a kua element you do not use it as your personal element. Ba Zi charts your luck and true personal element as it uses the day/month/year and even hour of birth. So it is better to …

Dear Kaushal, 1. In my opinion, there should be many qualities a good FS consultant should have. 2. I believe many of such good qualities are similar to other "professions". 3. I have to consider FS a profession because it "involves" human lifes. Although it is not in the same league as being a Doctor. But, if wrongly applied, or wrongly `worshipped' it can do harm (both physical and others). 4. Physical as it is a form of metaphysics and in some sense, it can be considered like `playing with nature' or (unnatural). It is left to each of us to decide the degree of effect it has on some of us. 5. I still clearly remember an message that was sent to the feng shui newsgroup…

Dear Anon, Please see below:- If you have seen the various examples i.e. not only Meyer but references to other `Receive positions' under this url: http://www.geomancy.net/consultation/consult-home/home-househunting.htm You will notice that the one primary concept of Shapes and Forms is to `Receive'. However, the fundamental thing is that NOT ALL SITES are the same. The above gives a CLUE as to what to look out for in ADDITION to other Shapes and Form Feng Shui. It would be silly if one based on my suggestion to buy this type of house and happen that the house is on top of a badly eroded hill. Or any other unfavourable Shapes and Forms. As mentioned above, "It depen…

The two major schools of Feng Shui:- 1. Shapes and Forms 2. Compass School of Feng Shui (Eight House/Flying Star) All homes that have "Quantum Leap" in Feng Shui MUST have good Shapes and Forms. Having good Compass School "directions" is nice to have. Majority if not all homes that have "Quantum Leap" cannot fully depend only on Compass School, Feng Shui. This is the difference between the two major schools of Feng Shui.

Dear Louis, Under Geomancy, it works on the premise of the "Holy Trinity of Luck" i.e. Heaven factors Earth factors Human factors Under Heaven factors ---------------------- Under geomancy: Ba Zi is used to look at relationships - favourable or clashes. It is much like the Chinese astrology where we have different animal signs: such as one partner could be a "Rat person" while the other partner could be a "Horse person". Under Chinese horoscope, for example a rat's worst compatibility is a horse person etc... Under Earth factors -------------------- Flying star Feng Shui can be used to identify "quarrelsome stars" especially #4 or #3. Other Earth factors includes …

So we focus first on veryeasyor non-complicated questions first (which will allow us to answer as many different user's post). For morecomplicated questions or too many questions, we often will have to leave it to when we have more time. Often than not, it takes a lot more timejust to replyone of suchpost than a simple straight forward one. Which is why till now it has not yet been answered. It is better you either post more short individual questions than compiling multiple questionsinto …

Dear Anon, Please see below:- Right now, my couch is It is best to have the electronic appliances against the wall under Shapes and Form School. This is where generally, the living room should have a `clear space' i.e. low cabinets or seats. The walls can have higher cabinets e.g. to house electrical appliances. You should find the true North South compass direction and mark this on the centrepoint of the house. Next superimpose the Eight House template so that it lines up with the North to South marking on the layout plan. The main door has to be determined by the actual cardinal point. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Usually, the two main components are looked at 6MS vs 9WS. 6 being Strong Metal and 9 being Strong Fire. Under the Five elements concept: http://www.geomancy.net/talknotes/talknotes.htm Under the destructive element or rather in this case, it should be known as "wealth creation": Fire melts metal to create wealth. As one school of thought also says: 3BS represents = Strong Wood; Wood supports fire, which melts Metal. It is acceptable to have YELLOW so that the entire "equation becomes a flow" where: Wood supports Fire, Fire supports Earth; and Earth supports Metal Here, Wood = 3BS; Fire = 9WS; Earth = Yellow and finally Metal = 6MS. The best or optimum flow is to add "wat…

Dear Ann J, More importantly, you have to determine what material the beam is made of. If the beam is made of wood, then based on the destructive cycle of the Five Elements concept: metal destroys or neutralises wood and seven represents = metal element (weak metal) and silver represents metal element. Thus, if the beam is made of wood, then SYMBOLICALLY, it is sound to have the 7 "silver stars".
