Dear Sharon, While your explanation is thorough, it is recommended for an individual to physically inspect the location. Despite the possibility of the main entrance being at the front of the road or a side entrance, it is still safe to observe the property even if the front side faces the ocean. For instance, the front side, such as the side facing the ocean, can be perceived as the front side instead of the actual front side accessible from the road. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  4. Dear Jun, 1. In my region, acquiring a pair of flutes featuring the phoenix and dragon design is quite simple. The phoenix, symbolizing the female, is typically hung on the left side, while the dragon, representing the male, is placed on the right side, as the dragon is associated with the East. The ease of hanging such flutes is due to the importance of ensuring that the design is not inverted, allowing for easy alignment of the mouthpiece with the pictorial representation. 2. It may not be feasible to come across a pair of flutes with similar designs in your country. In my view, if your flute showcases any illustrations, it is essential to ensure that they are…

  5. Hi, Thanks for bringing up a refreshingly new question. In general i.e on a macro level, overall, hospitals are considered a YIN location. Frankly, all of us (doctors & nurses included) have reasonable levels of personal AURA to defend ourselves from YIN elements. 1. Nurses and physicians are in constant motion, generating active Qi. 2. Patients fall into several categories: - Some patients are frail and weak, and these individuals tend to have more YIN. - The majority of patients are in the process of recovery, and in certain hospitals, there are different classes. Some of the higher classes offer TVs or rooms shared by four people, each with …

Serene K. wrote: If my Bed is putting exactly same as the plan and my stove is putting as your mark as ''X''. Is it not good? Why? any solution? Yes, I suspected that your stove would have been at that location as 65 percent of such layout plans do place the stove at that position. This is under symbolism in Feng Shui; where it is considered inauspicious to have stove = fire element sharing the same wall as your bed-head. For some, they have a "thick" bed-head with a shelf behind their bed to place the alarm clock etc... this is one solution. The other is to move the bed-frame two inches away from the wall shared directly with the wall of the stove. The main concern is…

Further to what I had mentioned; these are some interesting points: 1. There are many cases where as a result of a tragic death; the person who had dead; does not "know" that he/she has died. And in many situations; could return to his /her favourate place. 2. For example; this is a true story in 1930; this lady had a wonderful time with a new found boyfriend. And tragically, she died nearby in a car crash. 3. During the session where she was asked whether she knew about it; she said that she had no knowledge that she had died. And "strangely" she had walked and no one even "paid attention" to her. 4. This lady returned to the hotel suite that she last enjoyed very m…

Under Human or Man Luck factor, yes, it is always excellent to seek immediate family member's view. This often shifts the entire burden of "responsibility" to shared responsibility = consensus. Here, it not only put you personally at ease but also indirectly boost your Human or Man Luck factor. (Under the Holy Trinity of Luck: Heaven (born with) and Feng Shui (Earth luck of home and office). Another or last category of luck Human or Man Luck must never, never to overlooked. Some people, don't have great Heaven nor Feng Shui luck; but with strong Human or Man Luck; it can transcend over the other two type of luck.)

  15. Regarding this you can use another theory called zi wei dou shu (Star Chart), some kind of Chinese Astrology. You will be able to generate a zi wei dou shu which you can use to predict luck (for gambling or whatsoever.) Yes, you can read up from books, but just remember that as far as possible look for those written by personal who had say training in Hong Kong and Taiwan. These book written by them will contain more accurate theories with regards to Feng Shui. Western books so far most of them, except those converted from these Hong Kong or Taiwan masters, have only general information. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

  17. These are some considerations: 1. Yes, in a broad sense, one MAY not go wrong when choosing a Mandarin name UNLESS:- 1.1. One also wants to literally convert or have an identical name in Mandarin. 1.2. Here, some English name(s) when pronounced or translated or phonetic-sound-like some inauspicious Chinese name. 1.3. For example, sometimes names with "flowers" may turned out to be a name associated with a Prostitute den in Mandarin. 2. Otherwise, if you never going to convert or translated your name into Mandarin, then there is no chance that you may get this wrong. 3. Please see attachment. Dear Mark, Under the Flying Star numbers 2 & 3 are not very good. 2 is normally misfortune and sickness. House number is not really widely practice because it is not really an accurate fortune telling tool. The reason some Feng Shui masters take that into account, is more for flats or high rise buildings. They believe that not every level will have the same feng shui even though the building has the same type of design layout for each level. Only under this circumstances will some Feng Shui master apply this theory giving it additional depth in the analysis. (So far from what I tried, it is need true more for high rise then low rise, for low rise it is not very useful…

Dear Anon, It is not a `conclusive' fact that paintings can neutralise bad sectors. In well published Feng Shui cures, the most common neutralizing agents range from: 1. If you cannot see it it no longer becomes a sha. 2. Use of lighting, water positions and plants. 3. Use of 6 coins to defeat say the bad #2 and #5 For paintings, it is mostly used to enhance the interior. Caligraphy of meaningful words are commonly used. One can say that as there are many practioners with their view points, or agenda, there are those who pay emphasis on paintings while others do not really feel that they are of the utmost importance. In my personal opinion, painting is secondary. What is …

  23. Dear Anon, So long as the unit is not directly facing the frontage or the main entrance area of the Hindu temple; it is acceptable for the unit. For the two bedrooms; the test of whether there is sha qi or not is to stand at each of the bedroom windows. If the antenane seems to slice thru the window, then this is considered as a sha qi or poison arrow. Often there are two cures to this: 1. Reflective tinted glass Tinted glass or reflection from the glass is acceptable, here. 2. Day curtains or blinds Alternatively, one cou…

Dear Jen, It is best to go for clay coloured roof tiles or even red/maroon. There was once, a client who used to have clay coloured roof tiles. Because of the numerous leaves that had fallen on the roof, and algae growth on it, the roof `turned' greenish. Fortunately, this house `looks like a crab' or has a profile of a crab. The owners became very successfully and prospherous. However, the owners subsequently got the roof cleaned and things was not the same again. The green algae grown is akin or symbollic of `wealth accumulation'. Overall, locally and overseas, it is common to find green roof tiles especially for temples. For a house tht has e.g. blue or grey roofs; blu…
