Usually the advise is to open both eyes before marriage and close one eye after marriage. Erh... how about changing it to: "close both eyes after marriage... oops... #@%$^^^^&&"

Dear Vanessa Pruett, Vanessa Pruett wrote: My fiancee and I have moved in together and we are trying to Feng Shui our home correctly using the eight house method. The problem is this...He is a Kua 2, I am a Kua 4 and my daughter is a Kua 5 female. What do we do? How do we find a common ground so that we can find balance and harmony for everyone? The Eight House is used for suitability analysis. Since each person have different suitability. So what we normally do is follow these steps:- 1. For breadwinner (usually your husband), as long as the house faces his good direction, the house is deemed suitable for him. Also, because he is the breadwinner, the rest of the family…

Dear Zarah, Please see below:- Here, especially for anyone who wants to determine whether: 1. Is this a missing corner? 2. Can this be a protrusion instead of a missing corner? Under Para 1, for ease of identification, we consider a sector (we divide the house equally into 9 sectors). If the area of the sector is greater than 33.3% of the size of that sector, this is usually considered as a missing corner. If it is a `slight' recess, perhaps, you may want to check to see if this is truly a missing corner i.e. 33.3percent of the area is missing. A small mirror, does not `effectively' provide the "depth" require to cure a missing corner > 33.3 percent. It only ac…

Dear Anon, 1. Although sector Feng Shui is not practised here, I really don't see any harm in doing so i.e. SW = romance sector... 2. The 33.3 percent rule-set: 2.1 Usually, under Feng Shui; major impact is based on this rule-set. For example if we paint the walls in the bedroom `pink'; and if it > 33.3 percent of the entire surface of the walls in the room; then the predominate element is changed to Fire element (pink). 2.2 Usually, a small item e.g. rose quartz is a minor element - thus considered relatively little impact on a sector. It can be considered as decorative item. 3. Symbolism in Feng Shui Here, symbolism is important in Feng Shui. For example, the use of …

Dear Anon, If all things remain constant:- Either 1: Your daughter's ba zi does not match your mother-in-law. But I would rather suspect the "jealous" syndrome or there is a better description for this. In fact, frankly, in my opinion, it is very common for children. For example, often, we hear of one having only one child. And for the child, he/she feels that he/she is the "centre" of his/her family's entire world i.e. in terms of love, affection and "pampering" for some. But, suddenly, we are expecting another 2nd child. Perhaps, after giving birth, "less" attention or rather the 1st child felt that less attention was spent on him/her etc.... Perhaps, your mother-…

Dear Elena, To be truly honest, Feng Shui is not a cure all. In my opinion, this has more to do with man/human relationship issues. And I personally feel other feels have a better success rate in analysing and finding a better solution to your son's problems. For example, things like getting someone who is closer to your son to understand his needs (frustrations) better. For example, teachers or someone your son had often confided etc.. Often, there is also two sides of the coin on this issue and we need to understand, what went "wrong" and how to proceed in a "stable" manner. Or if family members are unable to do so, it is better to seek some professional advise or …

I have been having problems with my friends for some years. I have lost my connections with some of them, and I can not say that the others are not so friendly to me. What do you advise me to do to find a solution with Feng Shui?

the hallway in our property has the flying star combination of 7-6, 7 being the Earth star and 6 being the Facing Star. I read that 7-6 indicates potential robberies, loss, theft. Plus the house's facing direction is my husband's irritation direction, which also portends losses. do you think this is a serious matter which requires a fengshuiremedy? and what remedies would you recommend? also, the staircase is in front of our front door. i seem to have heard that such a placement can be bad, but can't remember why its bad, etc. can i place a fountain, fish tankor a plant there to make it better? as i have heard that plants or water are good for remedies. please advice! Under the Compass of School of Feng Shui: the concept of Eight House can be used to check what is the best bed-head facing:- http://64.19.142.11/www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/reports-list.htm Favourable Sleep Position? Generating Sleep Position Report? Sleep Position Report Example Generate Now Often the above concept is considered as "nice-to" have and not a must-have. This is because we still need to consider the "Shapes and Forms" aspect of each bedroom. As most bedroom(s) may/could/would/should have a bedroom door and/or some ventilation windows and/or attached toilet. Thus, instinctively many of us already roughly have an idea of how we would like to p…

Dear Felicity, In my opinion, it would be more frutiful to try to boost our luck in other areas (if we can). Namely under: 1. Feng Shui of the home - Shapes and forms of the home - Others such as Flying Star. 2. Pillars of destiny - personal luck. 3. Protect the house such as the main entrance door or windows from poison arrows. 4. As for how to counteract the effects of having the main entrance door under `death sector' ... we can do only that much ie. to comfort ourselves such as, closing the door when not in use or keep the location bright. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, In my opinion, although the main door facing may not be suitable to you; however, it is too premature to know for sure how it affects your finance. For example, this can be considered as ONE (1) leak. But yet, this one leak can be either: No or minimal issue (minor leak) or a major leak. From my past experience, many other factors need to be taken into account:- 1. External Environment (The landscape, the site, the building). This is strongly affected by Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Usually, the rich get richer, is by building a home specific to draw wealth from the environment. This is not illegal as one cannot complain to the police to arrest him/her. Qua…

Robert Lee wrote: Though the toilet is quite close to the center, it isn't exactly dead center. So I don't think it is a major issue. Furthermore, it takes several major leaks in the home at the same time for you to really have to worry. Thank you for your valuable advice, Robert.

Yes, definitely, as you have already noted, the significance of each #number is different under Period 8. Quote: However, in the past 5 years, I've been sickly. I wonder if this has to do with period 8 which started in 2004 and will end in 2024.

Quote: Do you still recommend living in this bedroom? It seems all the bad stars are in this bedroom. Would appreciate your help. Thanks in advance. 1. This question reminds me of the concept " We stay here, you don't". "We" meaning the owners and family members of a home. And "You"often meaning the person who gives the advice". 2. For those practising Feng Shui whether professionally or non-professionally, should give advice based on as much facts as possible. 3. For example, in the above, what happens if this is your onlyw bedroom or no matter how, a family member have to occupy this bedroom. Otherwise, end up sleeping in the living room couch or bath-tub. 4. For …

Dear Masters Lee, Please forgive me for my constant questions about the same subject, but I am still confused. My husband and I live in a period 7 Zhen house, 288degrees facing. We areboth Kan people. From themoment we moved into this house about 2 years ago, we have been involved in lawsuits in one way or another.Luckily most have been settled out of court or we won the case in court. Still we have had to go through the process. I would like very much to stop this trend. I posted a question asking how to reduce the potential for lawsuits and one of you kindly responded by suggesting thatI look for directions where a 3 was located and use metal as a remedy. Fire was also…

Dear Suzanne, Under the Eight House theory, there is really nothing much one can do especially if one's bed (rather than bedroom) is at a specific sector. Ideally it would be nice to have the bed located at one of the 4 good sectors but this is not possible for some of us. There are other considerations and most importantly: 1. Shapes and Forms. The placement of the bed should conform to the above. Especially where the bed should (where possible) be placed against a wall and opposite of the bedroom door. There are other considerations under Shapes and Forms. 2. Flying Star analysis. If one's concern is e.g. the `spook' sector at the bedroom; it would be good to try to ch…

Dear Winn, In general, without further detailed analysis, there is (in my opinion) relatively `low risks' or harm in placing 6 coins on the door knob. As mentioned in various forum messages, majority of cures is the use of METAL element. A little more METAL, should not create problems for many. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Mr Teng, Usually, this is considered as an issue but in an apartment as you had mentioned below, not possible to relocate it. For Feng Shui problems, often, there are two or more major flaws within a home to cause us problems. Thus on it's own, it is still acceptable. But if there are more issues in a home, it will add to the problems. Try to make sure that there are if possible, no other major issues in a home. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Wong Paul, Wong paul wrote: Mr Lee, Care to elaborate how can I improve the flying star of my house. thanks Just like what we kept mentioning from time to time. You must identify what are leaks in the home. So for flying star, do a flying star analysis of the home. Once you have done a flying star chart, identify where are the trouble stars ie star 5 and star 2. If they fall in key areas of the house (ie living room/bedroom etc). These stars should be neutralised with metal. Even like star 3 and star 4, these are stars often related to lawsuits / romance stars. If they are present in especially bedroom etc, these are sectors that need to be balance off. Often wi…

Hi, My apartment main door faces the elevator directly and our family has run into several bad luck lately. I read about hanging a bagua mirror above the main door and that it can have adverse effect if done wrongly. I am living in US and our management won't allow us to have thingsabove the door. Are there any other remedies besides hanging the bagua mirror? Iris
