Dear Suzanne, Under the Eight House theory, there is really nothing much one can do especially if one's bed (rather than bedroom) is at a specific sector. Ideally it would be nice to have the bed located at one of the 4 good sectors but this is not possible for some of us. There are other considerations and most importantly: 1. Shapes and Forms. For curiosity, you can try out the several methods and check the final results. In fact, most of the methods works well for years less than 1999. Since you have a son, there could be other underlining reasons. Often, the Flying Star Feng Shui is used to diagnose sectors that have bad #3 and #4 wood elements which are associated with quarrels and disputes.
