General Help

Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. 1. Feng Shui cannot be done by remote-control. For example, if one does not stay in that home; one's earth luck does not come from that home. 2. Like any other investment decisions; if we ourselves have some concerns in a property, do assume that others would so the same; later if one intends to sell it off. 3. For example; Block and unit numbers of apartments does not come under Feng Shui. But for majority of the Chinese; we may be concerned of numbers especially if a unit has #04-44 etc... 4. Many of us are already aware of much of the factors that may be considered as "bad" or poor Feng Shui like: a unit directly facing a road and other neighbouring block's sharp or…

But both in theory and at the same time the optimium consideration for a water feature. 2. However, in the past, a water feature is often used:- 2.1. A water feature with specific number of fishes especially "GOLD" fish : 7 gold-fish and 1 black gold fish is used to disarm bad qi areas that has either #5 or if there is a lamp post facing a window of a home and this is or was used to that effect. 2.2. 1. In my opinion, the strongest influence are "family pressures". In the past, it could be the matriarch of the family - the eldest family member e.g. the grand mother or the great grand mother who has the final say. 2. Thus if the hierachy top down says No, it means totally NO! 3. In modern times; so long as both immediate families understand - reasonable explanation; and accept it, then go ahead... with it. 4. The reason why there is no issue with marriage in most years other than preferences such as dislike of Tiger year etc... is that one should select good dates or auspicious dates. 5. Thus, look at it this year, even if we are in a Tiger year;as thereare differe…

It should be based on the real direction one is facing. Please see attached illustration. Did you notice the work table? This person's best work directions are: South and East. (SE and North) are acceptable directions. Thususe a compass and check where is the north compass point. And then best to sit facing the good direction as shown in the example for an East group person. Anonymous wrote: I am bit confused on deciding on the best work position. Frankly, what is there to have "bad" Feng Shui if your neighbours are still staying at the top floor corner of a townhouse. It is unlike having a toilet above things like the dining table or living room i.e. we are talking about human beings. 1. Generally, the entire plot of land and building is rectangular under Shapes and forms is acceptable. 2. There is a high concentration of Catholic (buildings); Generally such buildings are considered "clean" compared to some temples etc... 3. Currently, the best facing directions within this development is NE or SW facing. There are also NW or SE facing which is not as good. 4. Majority of all developments have good and not so good units. Thus, one can apply Flying Star to futher fine tune the interior of the unit.

Is there any concern as we intend to have the room set up for the parents who are in their old age. 1. It depends. For many developments the bay windows have a half wall and above this is the bay window. In such a situation, there is no issue or concern. 2. However, if the entire bay window and the lower portion is made of glass; then if symbolically, if one's legs face this window; it is considered inauspicious:- 2.1. This is the coffin position when legs face an "opening" 2.2. Commonsense: usually lower part of the body is "exposed" thru the…

    1. These are my reflections on the matter: once a person has been cremated, everything changes and becomes neutral. 2. For instance, when a person is buried, the Chinese believe it is very auspicious to bury them in a favorable location and facing a certain direction. It is believed that a good burial site and good Feng Shui can bring luck to future generations of the family. 3. Therefore, this is likely why most people advise against prematurely removing the coffin and cremating a loved one unless there is no other choice. 4. Historically, many burial sites were indeed very auspicious. Well-known auspicious burial sites include the current Orchard MRT grou…

Can you do a proper analysis and review for me, so that I can find a job? I have no money to pay you. I do not have even bank or credit card yet. Or anyone who can guide me how to analyze my fengshui, so that I can do it even if it is just basic? Thank you very much for your reply and your help.

  20. 1. Usually it is best not to place a clock above an entrance of a passageway. Anonymous wrote: I have placed an electric round clock on top of the kitchen entrance 3. 23. These are some of the considerations: 1. Fixed template vs Flying star Feng Shui Flying Star Feng Shui belongs to the Compass School and each home can be classifed as belonging to one of the 15 mountains of which, there is a flying star chart based on each home layout plan. If you are referring to those western based Feng Shui where they have a Ba gua map in a fixed format; for example: North = career etc... then all Traditional Geomancy or Feng Shui school don't use such things. It can be brushed stainless aluminium look with simple functioning dials. Most simple seiko, casio type of clocks will do. 3. Or a traditional mechanical ones... for example, recently I wona bid on Ebay for a lovely mechanical alarm clock. What is most effective is the "tick-tock" of a traditional alarm clock which can be placed on a table top. 4. Refrigerator (fridge). 1. The critical concern for a stove at the back of the home is to visual whether any "expected" high-pressure low-pressure situations occur usually before heavy rains start. 2. This is particuarly true for terrace homes where the openings are at the front of the home and the backyard side. 3. Thus the question asked is "how will changing air-pressures" have on the stove ie. extinguish the flame and let gas continue to flow dangeriously on or let the flame "shoot" out dangerously from the side or towards the front towards the operatior. 4. When all these considerations are looked at; we try also to see whether the stove can match the ba zi of the female breadwinner of…
