Dear Master Cecil, I wish you well. Could you kindly help to differentiate between a period 7 or period 8 house. How does one determine a house as period 7 or period 8? The HDB flat that I am currently living is built in 1989, I moved in 2011, without much renovation, except changing the toilet door, and the toilet seat. I'm confused. I have been seeing many feng shui online say the number 2 is still sickness/illness star during period 9. But others stating it's not auspicious. If I'm correct, the 3 top numbers stand during each 20 year period cycle. Example, during period 7, the top 3 numbers were 7/8/9. Hi Master Cecil, Happy New Year! Can you advise the approach one should take when the life kua favorable directions conflicts with the house kua? For example, bedroom in the east for a person with West Group Life Kua is unfavorable according to 8 mansions but because the house is facing N2, the house kua shows that east is suitable for bedroom (sheng qi). But the flying stars for Period 8 in a N2 facing house has 5 & 2 in the east, which are bad numbers for health. Also does it make a difference on the orientation of the headboard of the bed? The head is facing east and feet are facing west, or vice versa? Thank you for your advice!

Hi Master, Would like to check with you. Direct opposite my main door is a electrical substation. Since electrical substation is fire element. May I know, if I was born in earth element year, is the electrical substation will bring good to me ? As using the theory of fire produce earth? If this is wrong, is there any way to over come this?
