These are some resources: http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/forum-archive/4770.htm http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=24390&new=%3EHouse%20Hunting%20:%20A%20Lot%20Position%20-%20%3Cem%3EFeng%20Shui%3C/em Usually, if an underground water source is below a house, this is considered bad "vapours". Hopefully the cellar is dry and not damp. The above may not be exactly what you are facing, now. You can monitor the damness using a hydrometer for moisture. Too much moisture is a growth culture for bacteria etc....

Dear Master, I'm seating in an office with a few people and my seat is in such a way that my face is directly facing the door of the room when seated down. I heard that this is not a good seating arrangement in terms of feng shui. I have been in this position for about 2 years and since then, feels that there are some obstacles and problems in my career. Please advise how to minimise or reduce the bad fengshui of my seating position. Thanks for your time !

Dear Anon, Usually, your office would have installed blinds. Simply draw the blinds and this is good enough : " if one cannot see it it no longer becomes a threat. As for the sharp corner of the pillar:- 1. from your illustration, it does not seem that the front pillar slices into the person. So should not be an issue. 2. furthermore, for a sharp corner in an office, usually after approximately 1 metre distance away from it, the sha qi is pretty weak. Even the two sha qi at the back of you should not be an issue. In addition, if one has a high chair, the two sha qi at the back is a non-issue. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. From one of the Feng Shui concepts using the compass direction:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/reports-list/perlist-workposition.htm 2. As you had mentioned earlier, if you are unable to change position, then this option is out! 3. The commonsense is to see how you can maximize your luck in other areas of your life:- The Concept of Maximizing Marks 4. In a situation, where as you had mentioned you cannot change position, then no matter how much you "bang" your head against the wall, you may have to maximize luck from other areas of your "life". Often, it can be your earth luck = home (& office) etc... 5. Factors like if there are any "wealth" leaks such as …

Further to what I mentioned earlier, attached please find an illustration (top-view) of the placement of a water position. For the water positon:- 1. Best to avoid ambiguous objects such as a fish with an open mouth and or a frog with an open mouth facing inwards of such a house. Here, this is inauspicious since, such open mouths implies a `hungry fish or frog' that sucks in your already depleted wealth leading to ultimate calamity. 2. If possible, the water feature should have all five elements if possible:- Metal element: circular bowl represents the metal element or a circular ball spouting out water Water element: Needless to say, this is the actual water used in the…

Dear Gordy, Yes, I personally feel that your comments are appropriate. Try to see if anything can be done to remove the large tree trunk. The 50 metres distance is considered very close proximity plus since it is visible from your home, the best to see if it can be removed, ASAP. The other alternative is: "If it is if it cannot be seen, it is no longer a threat". Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Amy, Amy Belisle wrote: Do the secrets of the Five Ghost exist? What is it? Is there any posted information on the subject? I would like to learn more. Are you referring to the Five Ghost carry wealth technique? If so, please do a forum search for "five ghost". There were a few posts about it. Remember, the forum contains over 8 years of postings, so it has wealth of information. So the search feature is your very powerful tool! Hope that help. I read this article online in our local Newspaper and thought I'd share it in this forum. This article is from the major newpaper distribution here in "Silicon Valley" just South of San Francisco in the US and as Cecil has mentioned numerous times, Sector FS by Lin Yun has found it's way here and is, unfortunately, quite popular here. Other pertinent information about my area. 1 Silicon Valley is one of the most racially diverse areas in the US, around 70%white, 30% minority (black, hispanic, asian, etc) 2 Feng Shui is cultural and has it's heritage in Asian countries 3 US is essentially an open and melting pot society 4 Therefore, it is easy to spread the teachings of …

1. Please note that what you had mentioned has more to do with partial breakdown of your elements. Often, in career analysis, another important factor is the element and strength one is: for examaple, a person can be a strong water person or a weak water person or a strong wood person vs a weak wood person. 2. Furthermore, the industry one is in and the job scope (job function) one is in is also considered. Brayden S. wrote: Master Lee, from my elements i have very high water element and low fire element. what should i do to improve my career which is currently not going smoothly. currently working in a manufacturing sector.

Dear Master Cecil, I recently came across some pointers with regards to Bedroom Fengshui. It is said that If the Bed is placed along a wall with a door, it is bad fengshui as (1) It is not in a "Commanding Position" where the door is visible (related to point 3) (2) Qi coming from the back (the reference did not clarify why Qi from the back is bad) (3) May get startled from the back and create restlessness However, I could not find any reference on Fengshui on the following diagram where the Bed is not exactly along the wall with a door, but the door is at the back slightly further down. For clarity, the bed is placed this way to avoi…

These are some considerations:- 1. If Feng Shui is used as a diagnostic tool to determine whether it can or cannot help; 2. Such key success factors include things like:- 2.1. Ba zi analysis of the individual. As some individuals are better to work for others than to do own business 2.2. Earth Luck: A detailed look at the earth luck: luck from one's home and work / shop 3. The above are generally the set of Holistic Approach to Feng Shui. 4. External Factors: 4.1. Please note that good Geomancers can often distinguish whether a business can be helped by Feng Shui or NOT. As Feng Shui is not a cure all for everything even business failures. 4.2. For example, in Si…

Please note that these procedures are not cast in stone. The earlier attachment is some of the more common practises collectively by various dialect groups in Singapore. If it seems inconvenient to you then simply : "Don't do it". There is no encyclopedia Britannia on such customs. And common sense says that if the surrounding area has e.g. smoke detectors then either use smokeless charcoal or skip this step. There is no right or wrong answers, here. Even some mother's boy would consult their mum or their grand-parent on such or additional procedures. Like Singapore's former Foreign Minister says... "go with (your own) flow". You don't have to follow what was written in …

Dear Varnie, Please see below:- Frankly, it is difficult to relate what you have described under Traditional Feng Shui as no analysis is done using all three major forms of Feng Shui: Shapes and Form, Flying Star and in Eight House analysis. At the moment, all I can say is that for currently under Period 7 (if the house was built between 1984 to 2003) the base chart of a West house is considered `very auspicious'. (Not considering the mountain # or the water #). You also may have to determine whether the frontage is `dark' or `bright' depending on say the amount of light that filters into the house. Assuming, that since, the West is where the afternoon sun comes in, …
