1. Frankly, even amongst (us) geomancer's; many of us cannot even agree on the issue of the facing direction. 2. But the main concensus is that the facing direction can be the door, the facaade of the building, the stack BUT However, it should be the place where it has the most yang qi. 3. Usually if it is an existing home, there should be some "history". If so, several flying charts could be created and analysed. 4. An experienced geomancer, would normally analyse the habit(s) of their client; e.g. always close or open their main door, windows fully or partially opened or closed all the time. The activity area such as the living room etc.... 5. Therefore, it is wishf…

1 Considering the various forms of luck; ba zi is only 1/3 out of the Holy Trinity of luck. 2. Where ba zi is only about born with; and itis just a snapshot of when we were born. There are several escape clauses to it: education, influence from family, friends etc.. 3. For the home, it is still very riskly to consider just onhomes with earth directions, as there are many many more influences on a home.

1. Please note that if you want to ask questions based on "time dimension" in Feng Shui; then the closest concept is that of the Flying Star Feng Shui. 2. Here, if you know or at least read about the concept; you still have to draw up a Flying Star chart SPECIFIC to that home or office you are referring to. 3. Only after doing so, then you can plot in your yearly flying star chart. 4. Thus, your question is like those G.I.G.O. If not sure what is G.I.G.O. please make an effort to search for this term in this forum's top-left frame. 5. In addition, I really wonder, are you seriously in checking out your toilet yearly. If so, might as well, frankly, shut the toilet down per…

1. In my opinion, you got it all mixed up. Both authority and determination are nothing close to relation or spouse sort of thing. 1.1. Authority refers to things like leadership skill. And more authoritative in nature. 1.2.While determination is really what it means; being determined. 2. Ba Zi Day Pillar:- 2.1 In a detailed ba zi report; 2.1.1 On relationships; please check out the sample partial extract of a detailed ba zi report. IN PURPLE: the day pillar says it all " SELF and SPOUSE" 2.1.2 House of Conception For the male; this represents the SPOUSE. And for the female her CHILD.

1. Your question reminds me of the program: Mind your language. Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mind_Your_Language 1.1 In fact, there is a rerun on fhis hilarious show now on one of the Starhub channel. 1.2 One should not, like the characters of the show equate it literally to fixing broken things. You wrote: "Do we need a master to evaluate the leaks or one can do it himself." 2. Of course, if everthing does not make sense to that person, then you may have to seek help. Otherwise, others have Do It Yourself (D.I.Y.)

This is a sterling example to understand, the critical qi flow, based on the Flying Star Theory. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, for bedroom two, the most likely influence comes more from the East sector, be it qi or wind coming into that room from the windows or thru the bedroom door. While the NE stars are locked up between the corner of the bedroom and part of the staircase area. The Eight House Theory has severe limitations i.e. you are either at a sector or under a different sector. It is not like you can get the earthquake to change the total directions of the home. Anyway, the stars you mentioned provided iti is for the East sector, are not that bad, as there are w…

1. There are so many other concepts, why only consider: based on the Five Element theory? 2. Some concepts either logically makes no sense under the Five Elements concept or hard to apply strictly based on the such a concept. 3. For example; if a cabinet is made of wood but painted in red. Some consider it as a fire element because say the entier cabinet is in red lacquer. While some other person may argue that it is a wood element as the entire cabinet is really made of wood. 4. Therefore, usually another concept is applied, here. This concept is none other than "Symbolism in Feng Shui". 5. Thus, symbolism looks at the overall picture. For example, it does not matter wh…

1. In my opinion, there are no known scientific concerns posed by say strong magnetic influence such as those emiited by powerlines. > 2. MRI's used in hospitals have eeven more powerfull magnets. 3. However, it may be different issue if the tower supporting the poweline slices thru like a butter knife thru an opening of a home such as when standing at thhe balcony, it slices thru it sort of thing. 4. Or tthe tower or pole, can be any other pole closeby that might collapse against part of the home. 5. Otherwise, chances of such occurences is far less unlikely that a vehhicle accident, and also so much less than a plane falling out of the sky.

Dear Cally, Glad to hear from you Frankly, Feng Shui is a holistic approach. So you are quite correct in that often there are more than meets the eye. For example, under Flying Star Feng Shui there is the dreaded #3 (conflicts, quarrels) star. Often it can be at a critical area such as the frontage of the home and/or even in the bedroom sector. And it has to be disarmed. Usually a stove facing a sink has more to do with "wealth leaks". Frankly, it is hard to pin point the issue with the limited information.

1. There is no precedence in the past with regards to the dimensions of a namecard. However, you can check out this past forum message:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=12&mid=19753&new= 2. Under this url link, you can determine your element and strength; after checking out your best or favourable elements; use the information to design a logo suitable to yourself plus the colours. http://talk.geomancy.net 3. For a horseshoe design, it is much harder to figure out which element it belongs: just by looking at it's shape. However, since it follows a curve (but not wavy) then the closest resemblance is in my opinion to the metal element (…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Egronomics is all about the user and his/herinteraction with the work place. 2. Who cares if people tell you that books are like knifes! I always remind my clients that when you were studying;we always place our books or semister's booksand even some toys or dollsclose or withinstudying (or even working) distance! 3. Just imagine; is'nt it a joke, if within our work area, we have to constantly open abookshelf doorfor commonly used books or items. 4. For books or items that we don't frequently use, then we may haveshelves with doors and often higher up where we don't need to reach them often! You wrote in italics, below:- 2)…

1. If you have the time you can read thru this article written by my colleague Robert Lee:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=2&mid=23906&new= MANY VARIATIONS IN THE SAME CONCEPTS In almost all concepts, there are numerous variations in concepts and techiques by many different masters depending on which concepts or calendar format he/she has learnt from. So much so that even the same concept, you will find different variations such masters using different calendar system. Even for masters with the same calendar system, they also each have some variation in how they interpret the analysis results. There are also varying degree of h…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. British English terms:- Ground Floor or First STOREY 2nd Floor or 2nd STOREY etc.. 2. Some architectural firms use US naming convention:- 1st Floor = Ground Floor 2nd Floor = 1st Floor (US uses FLOORs while UK traditionally USED to use STOREY.. perhaps, this has being "contaminated" by US language.) For example, UK uses flat. While US calls it apartment. 3. Thus in your case, since your country is Britain; then :- Ground Floor = 1st Storey and so on.. 4. From what I understand from you:- GROUND FLOOR (1st storey) = #01-xxx 1ST FLOOR (2nd storey) = #02-xxx etc....

These are some of the considerations based on belief and symbolism:- 1. Only display the standard set of three. 2. If your replacement set is identical; then you can always throw away the other two and safe keep (in a store room or cabinet) the remaining one. 3. So far, I have yet to see someone display more than the required set of three.

These are some considerations: 1. As you had mentioned, the oak tree is not in your property. 2. However, it becomes a threat only when e.g. standing inside the home (at an opening) e.g. such as an open window and /or main door and if one can see the trunk of the oak tree slicing towards such openings then this is considered as a poison arrow or sha qi. Thus this is considered as a threat. 3. The concept that if it cannot be seen, it no longer becomes a threat applies. Thus simple things like installing a blind or a day curtain may help to "blur" out the offending "object". 4. One of the "secret" weapons in Feng Shui are birds chirping around. Thus, some trees help to at…

These are some considerations:- 1. In my opinion, your question is like ebony and ivory: 20 year or annual (full stop). 2. There are a-lot of considerations even if one wants to say which is more powerful. 3. As mentioned under Para 2, there are indeed ALOT of other considerations. Thus for annual or annual cures, it depends on individual homes and the result may not be similar for every Tom, Dick or Harry. Other factors include: Heaven luck, man or human luck factors, philantrophy, education da da da .de de de da da... 3.1. In theory, of course, based on the most timely stars, logically, an academic would claim that annual is "more powerful". Even so, this is considere…

1. In my opinion, although not common; but have come across such a situation. 2. There were also geomancers that ask their clients to literally place the bed-head against a fullwindow as they were applying Eight House Feng Shui. 2.1. What you mentioned has more to do with pschology then anything else. Some people may feel uneasy or feel unsecure as they may feel that someone may be peeping into their bedroom - even when the entire windows are opaque. 3. Froma Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, your bed-head is still against a solid wall - good or OK. 4. Furthermore; in a sense; more light can pass thru that specific bedroom. If it is not direct sunlight; e.g. light filtering in …

Frankly, as Rome was not built in a day; D.I.Y. (do it yourself)Feng Shui is equally no one-night stand type of thing. If Feng Shui or fung sway is so easy.. then it would not be fung seoway already. If you are up to studying or understanding Feng Shui, you really need to... spent lots of effort learning it... Cheers!

In my opinion, these are some of the considerations: 1. Currently at this stage, it is anyone's guess whether it is good or bad. 2. As Feng Shui has it's tools to analyse such things. 3. Thus your statement is currently a question-mark. 4.You may choose to do nothing; and there are no major issues; if it ain't broken don't fix it.

In my opinion, if your office is on the 17th storey, the external building (and it's spine) and the mrt tracks are not considered a poison arrow or a sha qi. In fact, if there is really a threat, it could be the lamp post as shown in the attachment - especially for lower floors. Since you are at 17th storey, it is impossible for this lamp post to be a poison arrow. Concentrate on improving the Feng Shui of the interior of the office, instead.

In my opinion, it is better to activate a water position at the frontage of the apartment; Since there is already a large body of moving water in your apartment; actually, whether water flowing left to right or right to left have a bearing to the apartment. Plus whether it is flowing parallel to the home (apartment block) or "slicing" it also matters. If the water flow is correct, (this needs some investigation) then an additional water feature at your water #1 star location may not be necessary. Thus it depends. activating a water feature at the central palace depends also. As sometimes a water position at the central palace is akin to the iching concept of water = d…
