If the new home turns out well; then it is good. But, what happens if the new (be it new or resale) home has "equal" or worst issues than this? The first picture looks orange colour. If it is ORANGE colour; then I must qualify; for the Chinese, we consider orange colour as = gold. Yeah, from a Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, what you roughly mentioned; seems not auspicious. The best "test" is to check the history... who had previously rented the same "spot"? If possible, do more checking and/or speak to some of the neighours (tenants) of the building... to get some more information.
