Dear Carol, We can all appreciate your situation. In a confined space, there is not much one can do to relocate these items. However, this is not the `end of the world' as far as Feng Shui is concerned. In your case, just make sure that there is an `island' or a distance or gap especially between the stove and either the frige or the sink. Try to leave as much gap as possible. As an overhead cabinet is not favourable for two reasons: 1. It acts more like a supression (beam). 2. However, can you elaborate more on the large piece of glass at the back of your chair? Are there any blinds or curtain behind you? Where possible, in such situations, have a back personal "side-table" along the glass panel. This is symbolic of a mountain effect.
