Note: Yes, Spencer; please do use the 8 sector measurement for Yang (for the living). As mentioned earlier, this has been used as early as the Sung Imperial carpenters to built furniture/doors etc... for their emperors. Cecil Hi Cecil Thank you so much for a very informative session. I have came across two other writers who mentioned that the 8 sectors measurement being used for all measurements. Nothing was distinguished between Yin and Yang measurements or 8 or 10 sector measurements. So that makes 3 of you. Then i came to another writer who stated that the 8 sectors are meant for external measurements such as fences, gates (not tombs). And the 10 sector measurements a…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: About 4 months ago, i had my sitting position at work changed to this current one where it's facing a big square pillar. Didn't really thought much about it until recently. But looking back at these 4 months I realised that my projects so far had been chocked full of obstacles and barriers. All of the projects, even the smallest ones, had a problem or another. Basically nothing went smooth and I don't know why. I've become more aware of the pillar in these few weeks and I am beginning to believe that all my obstacles at work were in some way due to the bad feng shui created by the pillar. It is likely the corner from the square pillar on the…

Further to what I mentioned, 1. Usually the novice and some kindergarten level Geomancers do treat what you mentioned as important. 2. Frankly, as mentioned earlier; the proper equation should be:- TheCONFIRMED Flying Star Facing Direction = Eight House "main door" direction. 3. Why? Go ask the elephant, please! Which elephant? ... Hi Anon, Just as my reply to the other review query. At this point, not able to comment yet as we haven't yet have time to review it. Not going to be able to give you anytime frame as to whether it will be reviewed or not. But like I mentioned, if you do have units you like from that condo, then it is best you seek professional advise such as can or cannot buy service to review before buying it. Hope that helps. Dear Mr. Lee, Thank You very much for your advice. I am bit confused about the following advice you have givenie., "if you have a feng shui ruler every8 inch will fall under the auspicious dimensions ie 7-10 inch or 15-18 inch etc." Would you please explain to me what you mean by this? My understanding is that the length of the desk should be a multiple of 8 such as 56, 64, 72 or 120,128, 136 or 144. Did Iunderstand it correctly? Thank You. Anon

    1. In fact on the contrary, toilet under a staircase is instead a blessing in disguise. 2. Frankly it is luckily just a toilet. Another common area is a storeroom below a toilet which is equally ecxellent. 3. Thus a cure is not necessary, here. 4. A dining table facing the stairs is again, based on shapes and forms is nothing serious so long as the dining table [is not too close to] the estairs that should anyone accidentally falls or trio, will not hit especially the head against the table. 5. Based on Shapes and forms, again, avoid any sharp objects on the dining table e.g. a scissorss placed on that part of the dining table for too long. 6. A plant, at the dining table…

Dear David, Yesterday, I posted a reply to a question on house hunting i.e. a user is interested in a second floor or storey unit. From a Feng Shui point of view, one should consider if there are any "threats" if any to the unit. The threats could be simple things like a landscaped garden tall thin trees like palm tree(s),or a garden lamp post slicing into any of thebalcony, bedroom windows, bedroom balcony sliding windows. Therefore, the greatest threat would come from these and sometimes even walk-ways that has a shelter. Especially if the roofof the shelteror even a club-house roof - could sometimes slice lower floors. Therefore, the major threatscomesgenerally, fr…

    1. Wearing a yin yang symbol is considered inappropriate by some people. 2. Is it frowned upon to wear a yin yang symbol? A Typical Yin & Yang Symbol Dear Anon, 1. Youngsters often wear the yin and yang symbol as both a necklace and rings, showing that it can be worn without any issues. 2. I regret my earlier mistake in associating the Yin and Yang symbol with the Ba Gua trigram. It is important to clarify that the symbol alone is acceptable as it signifies balance and can be placed at the center of a house for that purpose. 3. My initial thoughts were linked to the First Heaven Sequence and the placement of the 8 trigrams. Unless it is a…

    1. In real life situations; it is the interaction of the home Feng Shui with one's ba zi element. 2. Thus, most people would normally: "wear" the favourable colours in their HOME. For example, if one has a child, one would "wear" the favourable colours onto the child's bedroom. For example: the colour of the walls, curtains and bedsheets. Or when buying a car, many would also consider the choice of car colours suitable to their ba zi. 3. In many instances, many people don't often seriously wear certain colours - if it is not practical. The sterotyping is that women = red or pink and men = blue. And what happens if the male has a ba zi that favours red colour? Wear red a…

Dear Wasis, Earlier, the opening of business on a second day is meant to be an overall (general) date for most business on the whole without considering the date for the owner. Sometimes, if boss distingtively, is concerned about his/her own business, and who "reign supreme" in the business, would like you have mentioned, find a ba zi date that is suitable to him/her (the owner). Often the time is either based on: 1. phonetic sounding timing This is a practical approach since, a business can open at a normal timing, to suit most employees. 2. Based on Ba Zi of the owner Here, sometimes, it is trickly to open business at a time not suited to the employees. Luckily for a p…

Can I place something on or behind her desk to help with this. I want her to get the most energy to help her study and not feel drained out. Given that you can't place the desk elsewhere, there is nothing much you can really do to remove the draining effect. The most impact is when the toilet bowl is at the opposite side of the wall. Otherwise, the impact won't be as bad. So I would suggest these few …
