Dear Brenda, Frankly, my new house is also peach (or rather cream coloured). I find it quite a chore to have it repainted to my favourite colour - netural white. So long as these colours are bright - creating more a yang (bright) look, it is still acceptable. As to whether to place 6 coins, in my opinion, there is no harm to do so. On the other hand, I would rather, check to see if any family members have frequent bouts of sickness.
