    1. If one has the time, one should understand this time-tested approach. And it originated from the medical field:- Feng Shui Triage Proper trouble-shooting is required. 2. Many other disciplines also have to apply this. 3. In a recent posting; one can see two worked Feng Shui charts. And often "no pain - no gain". 3.1. Often, a chart takes as much as4 hours to prepare, evaluate and provide recommendations. Be it a DIYer or a professional studying and working out the colour details. http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=35094&new= 4. The other wayis via another time testedby instincts: if one wants to dispense with the above then…

Dear Joan, Here basically keeping the toilet door will reduce any influence. But again this isn't a very major issue to be too worried with. Please check one more recent posting on similiar topic, not sure if it was by you. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Vivien, Please see below:- Usually, many FS practitioners consider the frontage as the location where: 1. there is often "clear space". For example, such as often, the car drives up to the front of the home (and /or) 2. There is a noticeable distinction of having a living room at the frontage and where often, the back is much part of the kitchen/ storeroom/backyard / laundry area. 3. Often also, if a home is "back-to-back" with one another, many homes have their back with the back of it's neighbour's home. 4. Please note that the above is not conclusive but rather, it depends on each individual situation. But it should be quite a reasonble guide. 6.…

Dear Susan, Frankly, looking at one `idea' in Feng Shui or using it to audit a house may not provide the full picture. In your case, try to apply: 1. Shapes and Forms 2. Compass Schools: e.g. Eight House - not only the main door but bedrooms for each family members. There are more e.g. looking at one's Ba Zi to harmonise with the home e.g. for an individual such as a weak water person such as white walls. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Carlos, 1. For an irregular shaped house, it is best to visualise, the flux of qi moving within the home. 2. Often, such a home (distorts) qi i.e. not smooth flowing or there are `substantial leaks' causing imbalances. 3. To find the centrepoint, one `crude' method is to place a copy of the layout on a cardboard. And `cut' out the profile of the house. Try to balance it with a pin or nail. (this is the centre of gravity). 4. Alternatively, try to `break' the profile of the home into two rectangles each with it's centrepoint. Warmest Regards, Cecil

And in this e-mail, I have addressed all your questions, below. Feel free to e-mail me privately, if you require any further clarifications! Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. If you did not receive, my recent e-mail, please let me know

  7. Edited by Robert: Combined the 3 post into a single one. Post 1: Dear Master Lee, sorry accidentally deleted the message while posting the picture! What I wanted to ask is, does the bedrest of this bed in the picture resemble Chinese coffin, which you said must avoid?? I know the bedrest in the picture is obstructed by pillows, so cannot see it... but you can see the footrest clearly in the picture, and it is exactly the same shape as the bedrest. What do you think, Master Lee? Regards, Rachel Post 2: Also, is it not good if the footrest of the bed is higher than the bedrest??

My neighbour has a mirror and a lighted lamp in their house facing/shining directly at my main door. I felt very uncomfortable whenever I opened my main door. Since this mirror and lamp were put up in their house, I felt that alot of unhappiness, disagreementand discomfort in my house. Please adviseappropriate actions.

Dear Elvis, 1. Please see below:- 2. If your floor plan is rectangular in shape, you should try standing at the centrepoint of the house and from there take the direction of the main entrance door. 3. If I read what you wrote correctly, and if you were to follow what I mentioned under Para 2. In this case I understand that the main door that you mentioned perhaps should be considered at North-east and not East. Alternatively you can use this as reference:- http://www.geomancy.net/fs/cecilcompass.htm In my opinion, there should not be an issue in replacing the single seat sofa with a bed. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Marta, In my opinion, the first house you mentioned e.g. the toilet wall(s) share the same wall as both bed headboard. Although this is not ideal, it is still much better than if the house (near the cemetry). Especially if the house is either situated at a North-East to South-West alignment with the cemetry. Or if the main door is located at the North-East (devil's gate) or South-West (devil's backdoor). For the toilet wall / headboard, try to see if you can place the bed further away from the wall or better still try to place the bed on another wall (if possible). Warmest Regards, Cecil

  12. Dear Joji, Appreciate if you can re-confirm the following, by filling in the blanks: 1. 20 Year Flying Chart for North Sector: ======================================== What is the #Mountain, #Base and #Water (Here, the base is equally important to understand the specific sector). 2. Year Chart: ============= What is the reining number for the Year Sorry to ask this because, I am confused by what you had written below. Usually the normal convention is #2 MS vs #5 WS #6 BS And for the Year = e.g. #1 YR Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Alice, If you can fax a copy of your layout plan to my fax: 64820570 and provide me an e-mail account, I can indicate it on the layout plan for you. Do let me have a short description of each side of your home or what you see from inside of each side looking outwards. Please also let me know the unit level. The e-mail account or a HP so that once I viewed it, I can either e-mail my comments. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Huey Ling, Yes, this is classified as "human sha qi" especially if we continue to consider it annoying. However, hopefully, you should get used to it. Perhaps you are a light sleeper. Some of us sleep like a "pig". Is there any way of changing room or alternatively a cheaper method is get a pair of swimming ear plugs. Hopefully, this can help a little. Alternatively, some of us play soothing music prior to sleep or drink a glass of warm milk. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. Apologies, I am afraid, these are not Feng Shui cures. Perhaps, some are grandmother cures.

Dear Regina, Frankly, between the two, and if this is a regular (room) and not a storeroom, than often, opening such a room to tother rooms to let in fresh air is often a more sensible approach. Unless we live in a space station, where we can simply seal up a room, than we could go ahead to lock up the room. Opening a room, by having doors opened all round a home would allow for constant fresh air to move or circulate within a home. In Feng Shui, the worst senarios are : suffocationg qi or stale qi especially from a normal room. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Steven, Steve S. wrote: I help my friend generated a report and saw that his life is bad, from luck against him and wealth against him... but he is prosperous and living a carefree life. I don't understand. Can you explain? Firstly, you need to understand two things here:- 1) Free report only shows you a person's big luck. There can only be 3 conclusion from this info. Basically, whether you are a person that:- a)enjoy life earlier than suffer later. b) suffer first than enjoy life later. c)mix, whereby there will be atleast a 30-year rangein the middle of your life where luck is with you oragainst you. Soit does not really mean that a person with luck against…

Dear Cecil/Robert: While checking out the flying star for SW1/P8 home, I saw the above description "diagonal star robbery formation" whichexplained "the occupants will enjoy good health, wealth and prosperity for such a house". The aboveexplanationis very confusing to me. SW1/P8 has ms5, ws8, bs5, ys1. The 'diagonal star', I assume, are ms5 and bs5 (isn't the combination of two stars 5s the worst?). Plus the word 'robbery' doesn't sound good to me. The eigh-one combination for ms5 and ws8 is inauspicious. With all this analysis, I don't understand why it said "theoccupants will enjoy good health, wealth and prosperity..." Would you be kindly explain it further? Thank …

Dear Hoa, Usually, what you had mentioned has more to do with selecting a name or changing your name. Often rather than using the above to analyse a sector of a home. Thus, the below is often a glimpse of the outcome of after selecting a name and checking it out:- For example case 1: Five Element(2 Wood, 1 Fire, 0 Earth, 2 Metal, 3 Water) Yin & Yang2 Yin, 6 Yang Name HarmonyMetal-Water-Wood = Inauspicious Tian Di Ren Ge4/5 Auspicious Max Luck is 4/5 due to Surname (Tian Ge) Inauspicious Tian Di Ren Ge DetailsTian-Inauspicious, Di-Auspicious, Ren-Auspicious Wai-Auspicious, Shu-Auspicious Name Luck1/5 Auspicious Name Luck Details1 to 12 - Inauspicious 13 to 24…

Dear Foo Leong, Often, if we are applying the Eight House (4 good/bad), we could use the other partner as a "shield". For example, if this room is very suitable to you i.e. Excellent and for your wife; her irritation sector. You should sleep closer to the sector of influence and your wife sleeps further away -- using you as a shield. This is only the best that can be done, here. Of-course, sometimes, it may not be possible at all. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Users, I am pleased to inform you that almost all the major components making Pillars of Destiny v7.10 possible are completed. I have been rather busy improving the site for your benefit! I had done a major internal re-coding of the Pillars of Destiny Core modules and have put it up for testing under v7.20 beta under the Pillars of Destiny report. What's new? 1. Major revision done to the way data is stored and retrieved. Thus, a faster generation of report. 2. Now you will be enjoying 120 years of luck pillar analysis instead of 80 years. I remember some of you asking what happens after 80 years, so have extended it to 120 year which should cover the longest life sp…

Dear Desmond, 1. The most important for a house is that the main door must be suitable for the breadwinner. Less important for the other members of the family members. For them it is more important that their bedroom is suitable to them. It is alright that their main door isn't as suitable to each family. As for them luck comes more from the bedroom sector they stay in. 2. It depends. Your description is too vague for us to comment. 3. Owner should actually stay in the master bedroom whenever possible. This is based on symbolisming on feng shui. 4. There are so many different concept. In particular, where are you sleeping now. Where you sleep have an impact on you…

Dear Jonathan, 1. In my opinion, it is quite dangerous to practise such "Feng Shui". 2. For example, let me give you an example. Singapore is quite a small island. And if we drove a car at non-peak period, it takes less than 1 hour from Western Singapore to Eastern Singapore. And it takes only about 45 minutes to travel from North to South or vice versa. 3. If one checks several of the messages under this forum; there was a recent message asking whether since the person is a West group person, should he, stay in the West? 4. The question asked is what happens to his family if they are East group persons? It is bad enough for husband and wifes to sleep in separate bedrooms…
