Hi lisa, In feng shui, there are a lot of thing that have to be put into consideration. As you and your husbands GUA is Chen(3), a House Sitting East Facing West should be Ok for both of you. Its only inauspicious when you are a east group person with a maindoor located in the west sector. As far as i know if your house is Sitting/Facing your inauspicious direction, there is nothin you can do about it. This is consider a Later Heaven problem. The above are my personal opinion. Steven

For example, one has to look at the gradient of the house in relation to the `poison' arrow, the level of the pavement and other factors including the traffic level of the road. The road here represents something like `water channels'. 2. Thus, it is difficult to give a standard answer. 3. Dear Cecil, Thank you for this wealth of information. I can see that the flow of Qi can be a very illusive thing and why it takes many years to develop into a functioning Feng Shui practitioner. My dilemma is choosing a good frontage for both my boyfriend and I since we are equal as breadwinners, unfortunately he's an east facing person and I'm a west. Dear Kaushal, Flying Star cannot be analysed star by star. It should always be analysed as a combination of the two stars or best still the entire sector by itself. Often it is the 1-2-3, 6-2-4 etc, when the stars come together then you can analyse the whether they are auspicious and then provide a cure, activation etc to activate it etc. For example even if 8 mountain is not a bad star.
