Dear Sophie, To be honest, even in the "east", Far East, when we set to do space clearing, we simply go ahead to clean-up the home. - The quick and easy method! I did not know that in the "west", for some, things sound so ..so.. complicated! Wow! In my opinion, more like hocus-pocus to me! Therefore, the quickest easy method is "JUST DO IT!" Cheers! Warmest Regards, Cecil sophie corcoran wrote: hi there how do i space clear and clense my small flat, ive read someroutines that r very precise and long including bells, candles, chanting, smudge sticks etc!i just want a quick, easy method! sophie corcoran wrote: i have nag champa incense!! is this enough??

Dear Janna, The key success factor here is to make sure that one is very well versed in the Five elements concept. And also use another tool of Flying Star Feng Shui: the Eighty-One combinations interpretations. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Janna, 1. I understand that you are from Moscow, Russia. 2. If one notice carefully, each country has it's distintive cluster of developments. 3. For example, in Singapore and Hong Kong, many Feng Shui practitioners specialise in high rise buildings: commercial, industrial and apartments. 4. For example, in Singapore, approximately 85 percent of the entire population of 4 million people in Singapore live in government subsidised housing. This statutory board is called Housing and Development Board or HDB for short. 5. Therefore, many local practitioners see more (assessment of high rise buildings than say landed property). 6. Similarly, in Taiwan and even in Malaysi…

Hi Anon, Feng Shui is no miracle cure for all problems. Feng Shui cannot control how much a person wishes to spend or save, this is more of a human factor. You should probably try to say get your husband to do like a financial planning, so that he can see how much he earns and how much he spends. This way he will then realise that he might be spending unnecessarily and start to save more. No amount of feng shui can help you change it. Feng Shui can help you improve the amount of potential wealth, happiness and health but it cannot help you on controlling your wealth. For questions on Health, there may be two possibilities:- 1. From Ba Zi, it seems that you though yo…

Dear Anon, Yes, very often it is very sad to learn that one has to borrow money to do it up for the sake of " Feng Shui ". Nowadays, Feng Shui in it's name sake has come to a very sad state of affairs. Often, these people, simply don't care about others; other than to make a quick buck. Nowadays, majority of FS practitioners are only concerned within the 4 walls of a house or apartment. In fact, Feng Shui is not just about the interior, alone. For example, if the exterior form is not favourable, no amount of enhancement within the house can do wonders. 1. If our house / apartment is like a mini car; no matter how, it cannot seat say 6 adults. If so, we have to buy an MPV…

Dear Anon, If you are staying above ground i.e. > 3nd storey or even 2nd storey, there is little impact on you from the garden/garden fence. Since the fence is normally not enclosed or closed-up, the ventilation into the ground is still acceptable. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Rochelle, 1. For info, it would normally be very inauspicous to see a spiral staircase, especially if one is standing at the main entrance facing inwards of the home. I hope that this is not your case. 2. Usually to `tame' the spiral staircase; two methods are used:- 2.1. Placement of plants around the staircase (ground level) especially the side facing outwards. For example if the spiral staircase is close to a wall, two potted plants can be placed on the `other side' to conceal part of the steps leading out of the staircase. 2.2. The placement of forks. Here, one can use two metal forks (those common fork and spoon) type of fork and aim it towards each side of the …

Dear Rochelle, In a very recent message in this forum under this same conference, a user has asked for advise on this issue. If your apartment is small, there is usually a constraint in correcting a spiral staircase. If you have a sketch, I would be happy to take a look at it. Warmest Regards, Cecil

1. Feng Shui is about location, location and location. 2. The above takes prime importance, first priority over the interior layout of the home. 3. Have come across several homes like yours with such staircases at the middle of the home. From landed property to penthouses in a condominium. 4. So far as Par 1 is favourable i.e. have good shapes and forms; frankly, one can still live with this problem! 5. Thus it is not the "end of the world" for you! If it is possible to screen the stairs from the main door; (it is one consideration). 6. Therefore, I believe, that your home can sustain, this. (Provided, there are no other major multiple "wealth leaks" in a home.) War…

1. If you have a sketch, it would be better! 2. Overall, so long as the spiral staircase is not facing the main entrance door directly, this is a plus point. 3. Is the steps for the spiral staircase fully covered or it is one "plank" onto another "plank" with open spaces in-between.

Frankly, it is beyond this forum as there is very limited information to go on. It may be a coincidence and/or a contributing factor. In general, a spiral staircase is always not the best choice in a home: as if you have check pastmessages; somehow, it is not "friendly" to the flow of qi. In order to reduce the bad effects (if any) The Concept of Maximizing Marksis always a sound way of trying to reduce bad qi and to try to improve the "marks" for a home.

Hey there. My name is Runa, and I know a little bit about western astrology. At a young age I was very spiritual, very close to nature, mixing herbs, plants, using them to create art and symbols. I was at peace, I was mostly a loner, and it feels like I am constantly living in different planes. I have intense imaginations. I can live in a world I create. Vivid details. Many ongoing stories in many timelines. To not kill myself.. I had to pretend to be someone else. Now I don't know what my purpose is. In western astrology, I have:Moon and chiron in 12h (h of collective unconcious and karma) in Leo [fire] Mercury and mars in 9h (h of philosophy, truth) in aries [fire] Sun …

Dear Julie, 1. It is good to first use the Eight House Theory to look at the house in relation to the breadwinner's suitability to the house e.g. what is the intangible force at the main entrance door or any other alternative main doors. Next look at the intangible force at the main entrance door. 2. Under the Shapes and Form School, since you house has four levels, where best particularly the toilets should not be above such areas as the bedroom, kitchen (especially the cooking stove), living room or above the main entrance door. 3. The optional method is to use the Flying Star Theory (which can be applied to all four floors) to check out auspicious and inauspcious secto…

Dear Master Based on the east house orientation, my daughter's bedroom falls between the "Spook" and "Health" sector. By placing the bed along the Health sector will face the bedroom door which I understand is also no good. I would to seek your advice and how I can remedy it. Thank you. Ivan

1. Under the Eight House (East/West Group) the best that can be done, here is:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Master_Bedroom:_Which_side_must_I_sleep_on 2. Otherwise, leave it. As under Eight House concept, there is very limited "cure" for this concept. A holistic approach to Feng Shui is different, it looks into this concept, plus Flying Star, plus Shapes and Forms of the bedroom.

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: My sons' bedroom falls in the spooky area of the house. How to counter this problem? Should I paint the bedroom with their suitable bright color? Can they still sleep in this room even though it is not their ideal place to sleep? My eldest son's ideal placeshould beour master bedroom while youngest is my husband's ideal study room. Hope to hear from you soon, thanks. You cannot correct a suitablity problem. A suitability sector is for you to assess whether it is good for a person to make use of that room or not. So you can only opt to use or not to use it if it is really bad. Spook and Irritation are not as bad as death or disaster sector. …

Dear Simon, Feng Shui is about the Earth luck. Human interations and human relationships are about Human (Man) Luck. In my opinion, for a stadium, if it based on Feng Shui, this will have to do with:- 1. Yin and Yang concept Sufficient lighting e.g. flood lights to the field area without too much glare to the players / participants. 2. Congregation/ Dispersion of crowd Even for the spectators, many stadiums often have gates spaced out e.g. North, NE, East, SE etc... This has more to do with commonsense than Feng Shui i.e. human traffic movement/dispersement 3. Location Again, this is commonsense approach e.g. location should not be too windy, should have good transport fa…

Dear Anon, To be truly honest, a sports center would need to serve a need for: 1. Easy entry and exits 2. if possible shelter (moveable roofs) to keep rain or harsh sunlight 3. Since there are lots of steps in a stadium, you could follow this guideline on the number of steps:- Introduction: 1. In Feng Shui, there are two traditional methods of determining the number of steps. 2. The first method is a 3 number combination. Where the first two steps are Auspicious but the last step is inauspicious. METHOD 1 - THE THREE-STEP CYCLE ======== 3. Thus under the `Three-steps formula' step No. 1 (Auspicious), Step No. 2 (Inauspicious) while Step No. 3 is considered inauspic…

Main door is on his longevity andmy disaster. what cures can I do to eliminate illness and misfortune? 1. To reduce the incidence of issues under the Eight House Theory, I had already posted many times and several illustrations like those, attached to this forum message. For example, the masterbedroom is located at the SW sector of a home. Look carefully this cross section and where "Mr " sleeps vs "Mrs" sleeping position. 1.1 One minute you "talk about" the above Eight House concept, and an…

Dear Brenda, Yes, a small decorative screen next to the toilet so long as it is sufficent to block the view of the toilet and not the whole bathroom would suffice i.e. OK. For a mirror facing the front door normally this would not be advisable as it would reflect Qi or disperse Qi and may not be that advisable. It also depends on other factors i.e. distance to the door etc... If a mirror has to be used, a sloping mirror (similiar to those found at some shop shops for customers to view a pair of shoes) i.e. sloping would be an alternative where it is not perpenticular to the door. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Julie, Thank you for your description. In my opinion, it looks like your main door is not under any `threat'. A `threat' is where one of the pillars seems to slice thru the main door i.e. if one stands at the main entrance looking out; one of the pillars should not be slicing into the main door area. Overall, in my opinion also, the square pillars are of minimal or negligble `threat'. This is unlike the `mass' of a large building's edge. In my opinion, it is perfectly acceptable in your situation (unless one of the pillars slice thru the main entrance door area). If this is the case, a 6 rod metal wind chime can be used above the main door. Or the placement of two …

Dear Caroline, Further to what I had mentioned:- Make sure that the corner of the pond is not aimed at "vital areas" e.g. main door entrance. In fact, in general Feng Shui, many practitioners would recommend the placement of the water feature on the (left) side of the garden. Since the right side is said to bring with it extra-marital affairs. (Where one stands inside the house looking outwards). Contrary to popular belief, it should not be placed directly in-front of the main entrance. Or blocking it. Again IN GENERAL, many FS practitioners would favour the placement of a water position (in harmony with the compass direction.) Thus, many FS practitioners favour the p…
