Dear Joy, Method 1 ======== For 1967 (female):- [1.] 67 - 4 = 63 [2.] 63 / 9 = 7 remainder 0 [3.] Gua is the remainder 0 (which is treated as Gua 9) I believe you took the value 7 which is not the gua number. It should be the remainder 0. Since the gua is 0, it should be treated as Gua 9 instead. You can use the method 2 to in the Applied Feng Shui course to verify this. It also gives you 9 instead of 7. Dear Anon, Yes, in Chinese belief, it is not auspicious to use a black lamp shade. As for a throw pillow, this can be quite subjective. If you have a picture of it, perhaps you can post it here. Overall, having black furniture is not necessarily considered bad. For example, many leather seats for the living room are black in colour. Dear Wasis, In such a situation, frankly, the essence here is that the bed should not be on the same wall and particularly, the `waste pipe' should not criss-cross or next to the bed. The only option is to leave a gap between the bed and this wall. This is perhaps the `lesser of the two evils'. North cannot not be good for you as Water destroy fire. Since you are a weak fire, water is bad for you. Hi Anon, I have just moved in to a house with the exact same combinations as yours. Main Door is East. I have put in the relevant cure for it. So although it is not so good, but it is neutralize. On another note, I am occupying the fading prosperity sector as my room. If you look hard enough, this is a good sector. You can activate the mountain star. If this bedroom belongs to a couple, it is advisable not to have a `pointed' headboard. This is similiar to NOT having a pointed or ^ shape above the door. A ^ shape e.g. especially above the door e.g. a triangular design above the bedroom door would lead to `divorce'. Dear Kaushal, Since you are a weak fire person, the best element here is wood element i.e. green or brown. The next best colour is fire i.e. pink, purple or red. The controlling element for fire are: 1. Metal to control the wood which is your production element. 2. Water to destroy fire. (avoid using this combination unless the card turns out to be all RED.) Here, for example, the `trick' is to use black font (black represents water element). However, since the card is small, you can chose colors based on the above.
