Dear Anon, If we compare this plant's thorn's they are considered as "pussy-cat" thorns that are real soft and nothing quite like those of the cactus or rose etc... In terms of Feng Shui for a landed property; plants with thorns are actually quite common place especially at external wall windows or at corners of home to deter thieves from climbing into the home. Thus the thorns of the aloe vera seems so mild as it is part of the skin covering the white liquid gel contained within. In my opinion, pose no harm at all. Warmest Regards, Cecil

These are some of the considerations:- 1. If the breadwinner and spouse had already slept in the new or resale home especially : 1.1. Used the built in stove to cook a meal: 1.2. Bathed in the home 1.3. Slept in the new or resale home 2. Especially if all these three ACTIVITIES were done say in the same day; then no need to talk: this is already considered as "moved-in". 3. If one brings in a used washing machine; but did not use it; this is in the loose sense - for practical reasons; fine or OK. 4. It is the same thing as an "old" or "existing" dining table brought into the new home. So long as one does not use it for proper dining; then it is technically fine…

Dear Veronica, 1. Frankly, it is best to keep the toilet door closed when not in use. And keep the toilet clean and airy. 2. To `side-track'; for the toilet, from a Feng Shui point of view; toilet qi should be `flushed' away or dissipated as soon as possible. 3. And ideally, at least one side of the wall should share an external wall. If the toilet has ventilation glass at this side (external wall) it is best to open them. 4. For your son's bedroom, make sure that the windows are opened and the room is well ventilated. But if he usually sleeps in an aircon environment, closing the windows is ok. 5. This not necessary but, personally I use three sets of Honeywell and 1 Am…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: Hi Master Lee, what element is a piano? Is it considered woodelement (because the outercasing and the keyboardis made ofwood)or metal element (because of the metalstrings inside) or water element(because it produces music)? In general, piano by itself is a furniture, depending on the material it is made the type of element can vary. However, when you use it to play music than the action is Water because it produces music. There isn't a real auspicious or specific feng shui location for piano location. It should be treated just as part of a furniture and place where it is most appropriate. ie usually close to the living room area for everyone/…

Dear Sean, Sean Lee wrote: Eg. what is difference between Weak Yang Wood vs Weak Yin Wood? Actually, yin and yang simply defines more the chracteristics of a person. For example, Yang type tends to be more aggressive and very like outgoing type, while Yin type tends to be more passive and very introvert ype. But ultimately depends on the overall yin and yang balance. Sean Lee wrote: Read that a Weak Wood should find a spouse that is Water or Wood. Does it mean I should find a spouse of Strong (Yang or Yin?) Water or a Strong (Yang or Yin?) Wood? To be frank, it is hard to find the most perfect partner. ie a weak wood person would best have a partner such as Strong Water…

Dear Mariam, 1. It is very common to have partners with `totally opposite' good and bad directions. 2. When you look for a house, compare the layout plan with both partner's 8 house template. What you need to look out for is:- - Where possible, look out for the `Death / Disaster ' intangible forces. Try not to buy a house with these two intangible forces flowing into the Main door entrance or your bedrooms. For the main door entrance, this is particularly more important for the breadwinner. - In addition to this, areas where family members spent most time should preferably be under the influence of a good intangible force e.g. Health, Prosperity.... 3. In the worst…

Dear ed Gin, In this case, either (a) or (b) which you have mentioned are both acceptable. Like the saying goes, if you cannot see the problem, then it no longer becomes an issue. Option (b) would be probably better if your bedroom is large enough to allow for the a soft curtain to there without creating too much inconvience especially making it difficult to navigate around the room. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Nowadays, many developers seek the advice of geomancers on the macro Feng Shui of both the site and what is outside of the development. Yes, in general a water canal at the back of the estate can / will have consequences on several stacks in the development. And Yes, even the running of the drainage from east-west; and even how the drainage from the site towards the water canal has an impact from a Feng Shui point of view. Overall, these have very high weightage : Water dragoons / Shapes and Forms Feng Shui. Thus even if we do pathe our entire unit or apartment in pure gold - no use if the external or outside the four walls of the apartment is "condemned" or "corrupte…

Dear Anon, Thank you for drawing up the illustration. From what I can see, it is good that there is quite some distance between bedroom 1 and master bedroom. And from the sketch, it also looks like the master bedroom door is not directly aligned with bedroom 1 door. This is good. In my opinion, although, bedroom 1, 2 (with bathroom) and master bedroom are in the same corridor, because of the adequate space between e.g. bedroom 1 and masterbedroom and bedroom 1 and 2 doors also pose not much a threat here. Therefore, I personally feel that there is not much problem - here. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Ber It is ok to sleep on the floor mattress for both the mum and child. There is no evidence to provide otherwise. When sleeping on the floor, it is preferred to sleep on `wood' e.g. paquet flooring. It is not based on FS but wood or wood panels will ensure that when one wakes up or stepping on the floor, the slab of tile is not `cold'. As I mentioned in an earlier message, many Japanese are sleeping on the floor especially on wooden plank floors. Warmest Regards, Cecil Dear cecil, My baby and I are sleeping on a mattress on the floor. Will this affect our health or luck? Can I still do so?? Thanks

If the problem no longer exists or is minimised then of course it corrects the feng shui aspect as well. In any case, the problem you are facing isn't really one of the MAJOR feng shui problem that adversely causes …

1. It is not rocket science as all flying star numbers are either classifed as eitherYang or Yin (stars). 2. In the earlier example of a Period 8, N3 home (or apartment); it just happens that there are a high concentration of Yin stars at the North and NE. 3. Thus, especially if we draw a 20 Year Flying Star Chart; and like para 2, found that all the 20 Year stars belong to Yin element, then it is considered as Excessive Yin stars. 4. In both of the cases e.g. North and NE of the above, "fire" element is used to counter the excessive yin stars. Fire can simply be allowing light into that area or room i.e. keep it bright. Otherwise, especially in period where the Year …

Dear Luna, Currently there are two methods at looking at the number of fishes to `rear'. Method 1: ======== The most common method is based on general good numbers of fish i.e. fishes should be numbering e.g. 5, 6, 8. (9 is still acceptable). Method 2: ======== The other method is based on your kua number ie. if your kua is Li or South, you should rear 9 fishes. If your Kua number is Kan (North), you should rear 1 fish, if your Kua number is Chen or East, then you should rear 3 fishes. Ideally, this is based on the breadwinner's Kua number Conclusion ========= Frankly, the easiest method is to follow ` Method 1' especially if you have a large family and especially, the fi…
