General Help

I have read that having a staircase in front of the main entry is not good. Does this mean the steps should not face the main door and/or the staircase should not be positioned directly in front of the main door. We are considering a home with the entry opening into a spacious foyer. However, the the curving staircase is positioned in front of the main entry with the steps facing slightly offset and away from the main entry. The main entry points towards the the steps. The face of the steps is approximately a 45 degrees offset to main entry and point towards a wall next to the main entry. How would this layout be interpreted. Thank you.

Dear Robert and Cecil, It is a common scene that one building is split into two properties and that would mean that each property would only have a front garden. Sometimes the rooms would protrude into the neigbours property space, both propertiessahare one roof. All this appears to me as a situation to be avoided when purchasing a property. Dear Cecil/Robert: My house is SW2, P7 house. My bedroom is in the NE. According to the 2006 flying star, the NE sector has double 7s, base 1 and year star 6 which you said is a good sector for this year. My bedroom wall is painted beige. I'm a strong water, and thecolors that are good for me are red (fire), beige (earth) and green (wood). So my bed sheets are either red or beige or green.Would any of these bed sheet colors (red, beige or green) not be good for my NE room this year? Thanks very much for the advice, Hoa

Dear Robert Lee If I'mnot mistaken. I read one off geomancy.net book. The ancient coins 'tied together' to represent a 'symbolic' sword and should not be placed at the entrance where it faces the main entrance door. Recently, I visited a muslim friend house during Hari Raya Puasa. I notice that the sword was placed at the above of the main entrance door facing inward.Evennow adays, chinese family do place the ancient coin (sword coins). Dear Cecil, I am being sued and I am very angry.I was born on November 21, 1948 in Quebec Canada. Since I have moved in this house I have been sued two times. My house faces the North 20 degrees. I am a north west house person. When I was sued I was sleeping with my head pointing north east, and my bedroom is in the east section,and the head of my bed was against a bathroom wall. Since then I have changed my head to point to the West but now it is against a laundry room wall.
