Hi there, I am facing terrible problems in family relationships, health, finance, andc career.. Since the time we have moved to this new place... everything in life seems to be messed up.. Someone suggested I have a look at Feng Shui.. Honestly, I dont a thing about it.. Now i do aftred couple of websites.. but no clue on where to start.. To give you an idea, its a 2 bedroom, kitchen, and living room. bedrooms are in the east. kitchen in the south and living room starts north and extends towards south, with the main door at the south. We used to sleep with our heads in the north, but after reading some bits about website, we moved out bed direction towards south,…

  2. Dear Mr. Lee I was born between 27th Jan.-13th Feb 1953. So my kua no 3 and my best direction is East. Since I did not know of Feng Shui at that time, I rented a house in July 2001 till June 2003 having SW main door. Since then I am facing hardships in career, money and fortune is declining. As per the book by Lilian Too I should face East to enjoy prosperity. I was following up-isntalled an acquarium in the north, red light in the South. Today I used your Eight House Thoery, first time, chart and found that the good directions look like the bad ones. Please advice to overcome the problem and how to regain carrer and ofrtune. Regards Vj

  4. Dear Sir, Could you pls advise? I live in England and am looking for a house. On this road, most of the houses have this common feature: The main door is located at the side, and it faces the neighbour's door. Pls find the images. Is it alright to buy such a house, or should I stop looking at such properties? Thank you for your kindness.

  7. Hi Cecil, Thanks again for your help with the earlier post about window/sliding door pillars and sha qi. In many places one can find guidance regarding "stairs at the center of the house". In the most obvious case of #8, it's unambiguous that this is the "stairs at the center of the house". What I am unsure about is the remainder of these cases, some of which such as 1, 2, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 14 are possible to interpret as "stairs at the center of the house", whereas others are more of a stretch to consider as being at the center. note: the black lines are simply to illustrate the centers of each house. I just drew them intersecting through everythi…

Hi, I have read conflicting things about whether living right next to a roundabout is good or bad for the energy of the home. Some practitioners seem to feel the circular energy is too harsh and confused and others feel it's neutral or even positive. We have the opportunity to purchase a new home on the lot marked with a red arrow. Wondering if we should pick this one or stay away. For reference the street with the roundabout does not have much traffic. For Flying star enthusiasts it is S1 facing period 9 which makes this a 7 star robbery chart. Please advise and TIA for any thoughts!

Hi Master, I bought a lot that's irregular on the back where the left side is longer than the right side by 25'. The lot is facing East at front. So the lot is East - West. I read several Feng Shui that states it's bad luck. How could I cure it? Should I plant hedges across to make it rectangular and pretend that longer side is not my land? Or could I plant trees and grasses on that extended part? Please advise. Thanks! J. C.

Dear Master Cecil: I have taken a look at the traits of the houses that are able to suck wealth from neighbors at http://www.geomancy.net/products/po-hunting/po-hunting-faq.htm I become very confused. It looks like an end house is in a receiving position for wealth from houses ahead of it at both sides. Are the corners of wealth-losing houses poison arrows pointing to the wealth-receiving house? Please help shedding light to my confusion. Thank you. Regards, Jen

Dear Master Lee: For all the houses that sitin the cul-de-sac "circle" (excluding those on the parallel street leading to the culdesac), they are homes that "will never become rich" EVEN IF their front doors are on the side(not facing the cul-de-sac) and the drive-ways are painted grey. Is this a true statement? Very respectfully yours, Pam

  14. I am unclear whether the direction of the house is more important than the direction of the main door, or the door I use most often. The books I read do not say. I am suspecting the door has more influence, since as a Kan person in a Li house, I should be doing well, but the door I always use is in my unfavorable Southwest corner. I have been sick since childhood, and I wonder if this may be part of the problem. The other door is in the also unfavorable northeast. Does an unfavorable entrance overrule the compatibility I have with my home? Thank you for your time and thoughts. Carla

I understand that for this year, it is best not to sit facing Southwest since the Grand Duke is located there. However, if in my working place, I have no choice but to sit facing the Southwest direction, what can I do to remedy this situation? My kua is considered 8 (actually 5, but for female, it should be read as 8).

Dear Master Lee: I am living in a 5 room flat. We have two bath rooms in our house. One is near the dinning hall & the other is in our Master bed room. My queries are pertaining to the bath room near the dinning hall. 1) The design is that this outside bath room has got two opening folding doors which allow us to walk thru' from service balcony to the long corridor leading to the master bed room & vis versa. Whenever we need to use this bath room, we need to close both sides of the door. My question is: I've heard from my relative that this two opening (folded door) will lead to a hazard to our marriage life either led to divorce situation. Is this true? If true, …

Halo Cecil, I am trying to position my stove, fridge and sink in a good work triangle and at the same time follow the rules of good kitchen feng shui. 1. My kitchen is in the West. Any problem with placing the sink beside and the fridge opposite the stove? 2. If the knobs of the cooker is facing up, the stove is in a neutral position? So does that means that the fridge or sink can be placed anywhere relative to the stove without experiencing bad feng shui? 3. How to determine the facing of a sink? 4. If the favourable sector of the woman using the kitchen is in the north (which is no good for kitchen feng shui), it is still advisable to place the stove there? Thank you an…

Dear Nicole, 1. Kitchen at the south compass direction. If the kitchen is located at the compass direction -> south; this is the location of fire. Given this situation, there is no issue with a stove facing a water position. However, if the kitchen is located at the north, where north is the water sector, than, it would not be advantages, to have a stove facing the water position. 2. Facing direction of the stove Since, the kitchen is suppose to be the "woman's domain". Nowadays, it can also be the "house-man" or house husband. But traditionally, since this is the wife's domain, it is best that the stove faces the direction that is suitable for the wife. 3. Use of Mirr…

Hi, Although our house is not located on a T-junction with a road, we were told that there could be a poison arrow pointing towards our house. Opposite our house is a block of houses that points to our house. Behind these houses, there is a small alley. This alley gives entry to the back of the gardens for these block of houses. However the alley ends at the first house in the corner. So, if you would walk though the alley towards our home you would end up at the garden of the corner house and then there is a tree before you would even see the front of our house. Would you consider this alley to be a poison arrow that points to our home? See attached document for an illus…

Dear Master Lee: Thank you very much for your previous response. Attached is another culdesac home with great mountain view in the back. This culdesac is a round one instead of the chinese knife shape. There are only two houses on the culdesac, the rest of the space is the park and green belt. Mine is the one on the left. It also has the front door (black rectangle) and driveway facing the culdesac. Is this a bad culdesac location? Thank you very much in advance for your advice. Very respectfully, Pam

Here is my house details: 1) Front entrance door is facing SE 152 degree. 2) Wet Kitchen is facing North. 3) Stove isin Wet Kitchen facing NE 82 degree. A Sink is on the right facing SE. While a fridge is facing SW roughly 271 degree. Just got an advice from a fengshui master. He said I need to move my stove so that it faces towards the SE direction or else it is very very bad to our family (with accidents and health problems). But, the SE direction is facing my dry kitchen and there's a windows between my dry and wet kitchen. So, the other side of the stove is my sinks and there is window behind the stove. Also, the SE direction in the wet kitchen is a sink and I w…
