  2. Dear Anon, For office, of course it will be good to have some window as it will firstly look nice and bright. But even if you do not have the window is fine especially in use as a store or warehouse. In addition, you will have a lack of nice view which can be very good impact on a client especially in a waiting or meeting room area. In addition, there will be no additional entry points for Qi to enter into the office except the main door. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET- Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

  4. Hello: I've been reading and looking for a solution to a main door facing east and south-east direction and a center of house toilet. Things have been very bad and going on decline since we moved here, job losses, sickness, and constant tension. After doing analysis we realized that this house was not a good choice. We have tried several remedies but things have not improved, moving is completely out of the question for now, perhaps you can suggest some remedies to help change the energy of this house. ( We are very optimistic ) but we feel there is something in this house which has been seen in different areas and at different times. ( kind of arm hair raising experience…

Dear Rosita, In my opinion, usually, there are more to it than just by coincidence that the bathroom is located at your romance sector. Do try to check for any `leaks' in your home. Applying first, Shapes and Forms and doing an Eight House chart to see what are the intangible forces. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, In a past article in this website; I have mentioned that there was a study in Germany. Where it was reported that there were higher incidences of cancer for those who place their bed above a sewerage pipe. In your case, hopefully, the toilet bowl shares another wall (other than with your bed head). If so, so long as the toilet bowl does not share the same wall as your bed-head this is often fine. Just try to avoid having the toilet bowl (pipes) on the same wall as your bed-head. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Anonymous wrote: I have a wallbetween my bedroom and bathroom. Further to what I had mentioned, I also checked with some shops and according to the proprietor(s), next year's tong su (Tung Shu) is currently not available yet. The estimated time of arrival in Singapore is next month i.e. in the Chinese 7th month. In my opinion, you should not have a problem getting a copy after 9 August 2002. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Joanne Books are considered like "knives" in Feng Shui. The ones in your storage room are not a problem, but I would remove those from beside your bed or cover them at night. As for the ones in the hallway, perhaps you could put some small pot plants with trailing branches among the shelves to soften the sharpness or a couple in a pot on the ground to somewhat "hide" the shelves. Cecil can no doubt give you more info. However, the former is what I have done in my study. Best wishes Glyn

Dear Guest, From a "Commonsense approach to Feng Shui" ideally, bedrooms should not be located at the centrepoint of the home: 1. Firstly, if none of the walls share an external wall, this often suggest that the middle room is "at the mercy" of open windows or it is quite difficult or harder for air flow to circulate to the centre or middle of the room. And most likely, there are "dead qi" around this area - if no proper ventilation. 2. Fire safety This is not so much of Feng Shui but as many of us are aware, if or should a real fire occur, most likely, the middle room could be engulfed with smoke. And not only this, rescue attempts or even planned escape is much hard…

Dear Sophia, Feng Shui is about Earth Luck. But most of the time Human Luck is equally important. Human luck often relates to family ties / family bonding / relationships and yes, hobbies. Since this is your husband's past-time or hobby, like many others, it is perfectly all right to collect them as this brings a good sense of feeling for him. Is also indirectly good for the family. Warmest Regards, Cecil

I born in 5-6am, June 13 1978 From Ba Zi, I have too much strong fire element and I don't have water element. At the moment, I'm running small scale water element business(soap production). It run, but I feel very tired. Should I become a retail or production or service? How about earth element? I'm wearing glasses and steal ring. I need your advise for my career. Thank you.

Dear Anon, You need to have more Wood (green/brown) in your clothing on a personal level. And/or to create a triple combination flow ie:- Metal (white/gold) -> Water (blue/black/gray) -> Wood (green/brown) Once in a harmonious flow of combination, it does not matter if the decor is more blue, as the water will be converted to Wood, and the Wood is neutralised by Metal. Thus, the elements become in harmony with each other as opposed to having too much of a certain element. Thus, in Feng Shui, it is important to note that it is more important to have a balance of 20% of each element. However, that is sometimes too difficult to achieve that. Thus, we apply feng shui ba…

  16. Dear Mario, In my opinion, Feng Shui is not a cure all. To put logos in the right perspective:- 1. Ideally, if we are applying Geomancy, then a company signage or logo should preferably have three colours instead of one or two. Here, three stands for progress while one or two stands for death. 2. For a small business or sole proprietorship, the logo can be based on the Ba Zi of the owner. For example, if the owner is a weak water person, then, preferably, the company logo should have colours such as :- Metal (white or gold) Water (Blue black or grey). Since each element has a specific shape, i.e. metal = round and water wavy, for the company logo, perhaps, it coul…

    1. Frankly, many or all the objects carried or to be carried are modern commercial products. These products should first and foremost be treated as mere decorative pieces. Much like the trinkets or items carried. 2. Even in traditional China, no one carries specific "tools" to ward off these issues. Frankly, it is all in the mind. As good as carrying a rabbit's foot. 3. Anyway, what you had mentioned dwell more into human factors - psychology, feeling good, security blanket type of stuff! Psuedo effect. Just like given a cup of water and a dummy drug made purely of sugar. 4. Perhaps, if you have the time and energy, go deeper into the study of proper Feng Shui and Feng…

Dear Lionel, I have to delete your message containing the two graphics. This is because, you did not add Source and Credit to the attached copyright images belonging to streetdirectory.com Or another test is that does the buidling block your e.g. entire view or over-cast such that it blocks the wind-flow to your home. If any of these affect the proposed home, than it has a strong bearing on the home. Otherwise, they are considered too far away.

  20. Dear LeAnne, I searched this forum and came up with a previous article, I wrote on stone lions. Dear Josephine, Yes, usually, it is best to check for `leaks' in the house, first. It would be nice if we can enhance but often, we forget that we must first fix-the-leaks. From a Shapes and Forms point, there are several leaks in your home. (Frankly, I have not used other tools, it it involves more anlysis - due to a busy schedule). But from a Shapes and Forms and forms view, there are several leaks:- 1. Narrow hallway, which is on one side of the house. 2. Markings A to B:- The back patio sliding door. The path of qi from A to B is a direct path. And not auspicious. (Especially if the door is opened). In addition, because of this long corridor, there is supressed Qi. An…

Hi Ms. Lee, Thank you very much for your reply. What you have written seems to impact my luck in my work and health directly. I became hypothyroid after moving in my home just over a year ago. Your reply mentioned that Qi is compressed near the center of the house (X marking) and that I have direct paths of Qi (markings AB and EF). How can I improve the flow in these areas and uncompress the Qi near the center of the house? That is my main concern. Thank you for your reply. It has made me aware that the opening of my home is not taken cared of correctly and that luck that wants to come in is shut by the wall facing the door or goes out by its direct path to the garage or…

Dear Kelly, Yes, although it would be better to look at pictures, from your description, your house looks or rather sounds Ok to me. For off-site audit, I personally handle the all off-site audits. In many of the off-site audits, many of our clients either fax us and/or if they need urgent responses can use reliable courier services such as FedEX and DHL. So far, many of our US clients use FedEX - which has benn proven to be very good. Or if one is not in a hurry sent the information thru snail mail i.e. postal service. Which has a turnaround time of just one or two working days. Alternatively, scanned images or scan layout are equally acceptable. Warmest Regards, Cecil
