Another method of "testing" to see if a tree trunk or lamp post or other tall thin objects may pose as a poison arrow... This is most effective for any threats at (or to the) ground level premises. It is also good as a secondary check for higher floors as we can move our neck and have a quick glance to see if it does pose a threat to higher floors. For higher floors, your method is good; but do remember to stand immediately at the middle of the window facing outwards.. In this case, it should be looking from "B" towards "A".

Hi Mr Cecil, We have purchased a resale condo, with floorplan attached. Due to lack of storage space, our ID has recommended to build a triangular shaped storeroom (marked in red floorplan). Have read that triangular shaped bedrooms and houses are not ideal, but how about storerooms? And it is right in the centre of the home. Hi all, As mention by cecil, a triangle plot of land is inauspicious. Since there are so many plot of triangle land around, What can we do with it? A plot of triangle land may represend the fire element ....so i think a hawker stall area will be good. Since there will be a lot of fire due to the cooking around. If the apartment is only one level or storey; then determine the centrepoint and from here find out where is the direction of the main door. 3.
