Dear Jim, As mentioned in the previous message to another user. Selling a House does not really fall under Feng Shui. At best what you should do is keep the house bright and pleasing to look at and get a good real estate agent to help you advertise your home. Other than that, there is very little you can do personally to help the sales except maybe to increase your personal luck by enhancing yourself with favourable elements. This way you might be able to increase your chance of getting a suitable buyer. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Note: this is not about Feng Shui. It is related to custom or beliefs. Imagine, just placing one's love one e.g. A baby or toddler to lie down at the main door. Usually if the white collar husband comes home and removes his shoe not too bad. But if one works at a site or outdoor, go imagine. More importantly, most people would at least sweep the floor or wash it. Either splashing the figurine or need to remove it temporarily - moving it.

1. My advise to all is: "When the buying stops, the selling can!" 2. Commercial products are modern inventions. The main purpose is to cheat us of our money into buying them:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Commercial_Products Momo O. wrote: I am a west person. dragon sign (1964 Dec). Is it good to have a dragon picture in the house if so, where should I put it. Thank you. 3. It is best to draw a proper flying chart to determine the above. Momo O. wrote: Where would be the best place to put the lion turtle and the frog with coins? Is it good to have a crystal ball on top of the frog? May I check with you, can I place my TV console at the East Sector of the living hall? Will there be any harm in regards to the TV placement in the living hall? Hi Julia, Actually, the only reason why people say TV isn't good for bedroom is because TV screen looks reflective. As such it is always related to like having a mirror effect. So the idea behind this is because it is said that when we sleep, our spirit leaves our body. Then when it sees a reflection of itself it will get shock. So that is why it is considered inauspicious. However, what if you are a person who, sees a mirror, comb your hair to make yourself look nice before leaving. So this is all a matter of tolerance. Some people like to look at themselves in a mirror, others don't. But it does not mean that it is at all bad but a matter of tolerance. Frankly, we ar…

In an unusual state of mind, a development occurs; specifically, an Executive Condominium (EC) such as Twin Waterfalls approaches the critical threshold of legal completion. In this instance, Twin Waterfalls EC began to inform their subsidiary proprietors just in time before the 7th of July, 2015, which marks the date of legal completion. It is of no consequence if the physical keys have not been distributed to everyone. As long as you have been informed of the completion, please contact me to arrange for the collection of your keys. However, hold on... are you planning to collect the keys tomorrow? I apologize, but your turn is scheduled for next week! …

Dear Ronald, Under Feng Shui, one possibility is based on symbolism i.e. especially in many instances where the door knobs "meet each other". Simply place a red dot e.g. at the key hole area on each door. Here, symbolically, when one close each door, "one could thus see "eye-to-eye" with each other. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Since you have the alternative method, and since the date of birth is available, why don't you check it out for yourself. If I am not mistaken, it should also come to the same `Li' or South trigram. Warmest Regards, Cecil

These are some considerations with regards to the current bed-head position:- 1. Just because some Fung Sway books says that a bed-head (blind-spot) is inauspicious. Some books even draw a person holding a knife and coming after the "throat" sort of thing... 2. Be realtistic, please. You QUEENsized looking bed is not small and your bedroom has TWO doors. 3. In my opinion; unfortunately, have to reserve this statement in such a situation:- "Making a mountain out of a molehill" 4. Frankly, and really, one fine day... may even result in this "Obsessive?compulsive disorder"... 5. In addition, many scholars and diligent people thru the centuries have studied and many have ope…

Dear Regina, Frankly, the issue, here is not so much as to whether, the centrepoint is `locked' or blocked but rather what is the outcome with a blocked centrepoint. More importantly, all this boils down fundamentally is, how does it affect the flow of qi (if any) within the home. (especially in a senario) where, we simply open the windows or doors or any points of entry of air-flow into a home. For example, if one can literally afford turning on an air-con in a room, there is not much issue on `stale' qi within such a room since, most of the time, a properly maintained aircon can circulate air (qi) in a room. Again, more importantly, air-flow or simply "wind" comes from …

My main entrance door faces my sliding doors to the back of the house as you enter. Is it true that I must put a mirror on the back sliding doors so that good chi that enters through the front does not escape through the back doors? Thank you.

My bedroom, that is also my main workspace area has two doors facing each other. It is one room that has two doors, kind of like a hallway. I sleep quite comfortably as I can see both doors when I am laying in bed, but my back is towards the doors when I'm working at my desk, which is where I spend most of my time. The window in my room is towards the backyard and it does have curtains. The wardrobe in my room is actually made of two separate but equally sized smaller wardrobes. How and what should I move to get the most benefits and comfort?

Dear Lora, In my opinion, if it is not your main door or if there is no direct line of sight between your main door and the kitchen/entry door, there is no FS issue. The main concern is only if the main door is in direct line with another door (exit) door and Qi or (Chi) goes directly out of the house. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Another area, you can look at or minimise miscarriages is to check whether there is a #5 (misfortune) especially in your bedroom. You can generate the free flying star report and check if #5 is in the bedroom where you are staying in. (In a more advanced level the 81 combinations of the two stars may give a clue as to the type of problems which may be associated with miscarriage) If so, #5 or #2 (sickness) should be appropriately neutralised. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Everyone, For those who are reading messages through the mailing list, I have just updated the conference " Photo Tours with Interest " with two illustrations: 1. The Sterling condominum revisited. Graphic file showing an illustration of why the top two units are excellent choice. 2. The Eight Lucky Symbols of Buddha. This is where some Buddhist Feng Shui practitioners advise home owners to bury the Eight Lucky Symbols under their main entrance and or display a medallion in their house or office. Warmest Regards, Cecil P.S. The Photo Tours with Interest contains pictures and thus not appropriate to be sent thru the mailing list.

Sorry cannot get thru to "free-advice@forum.geomancy.net", my email keeps bouncing back hence I sent to this email address instead. Hope its alright. Dear Cecil If a person stays in an apartment that is high up, say 20th floor with no possible poison arrows but also seems to have no "protection" since it is like a stand alone point block and nearby shorter blocks are not very near. Is this no good? I've read in your website that its better that the back of the house should have another higher block as a "backing" and sides should have blocks to act as protection similar to the white tiger and the dragon. Is that so for apartment blocks? If not then what happens? Consideri…

Dear Tracy, In general, spiral staircases are best to be avoided. However, it also depends on the location. As you have briefly mentioned, that it cannot be seen directly... If it is not seen directly from the main entrance, this is a `plus' point. Overall, the spiral staircase has to be looked at in the context of the whole house and its location in relation to the layout plan. And based on situation. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Kenny, 1. Thank you for the link. I have already checked out the two designs. 2. If you look at the attachment (Source and credit to: HDB), one can find that both units does not have toilet(s) at the centrepoint. Other comments: Blk 297B Compassvale Street #02-24 ================================== Under Shapes and Forms Feng Shui: 1. It is not as auspicious to have the main door (face) the dining table. 1.1 This is more of a commonsense approach in Feng Shui. 1.2 The rationale is because often, in many homes, the dining table is often cluttered with food e.g. bread and since not all family members return home at the same time, food is often left on the table. The di…

Dear Xtine, Lava which has been cooled, should in my opinion not be considered any longer as `Fire element'. This is similiar to other materials that had cooled down. For example, ceramics which has been `fired' in a kiln, has cooled down. Ceramics is in my opinion considered as earth element. The lava you spoke off, should be considered (in my opinion) earth element also. However, if it contains a high percentage of metal or metal oxide, then it could be considered as the metal element. Another interesting to note is that even if it is considered as the earth element; in the past Chinese geology, each grain is inspected to find out what is the actual element. Example, i…

Frankly, based on my past experience; I feel that there are many instances that such a relationship had existed and felt that it has succeeded "beyong" expectations due to: 1. Better communication (especially if both parties try hard to give a listening ear) and build a better solid relationship thru understanding and tolerance. 2. And key success factor is : "mellowing" of character.... For example, as there are more divorces today; quite alot re-marry (mature - when they first got married - they were only 20 plus years old... and ) for some... as they grow old or older... "more experienced"..... 3. I personally feel that this quote on my mainhttp://lovesigns.net webs…
