1. All wind chimes that are used in Feng Shui are generally:- 1.1. No fancyful colours. They are either copper plated or bronze plated ones. 1.2. They should often be 6 hollow rods - not solid rods. 1.3. They can also be two materials e.g. wooden roof supporting the rods with a wooden clinger. 2. Where to place it? 2.1. By feel or trial and error. If you are not into using proper Feng Shui tools to analyse a home, then you simply to go by feel or trial and error. 2.2. Only after doing a proper analysis, the Feng Shui master or even a DIY person, would then see if it is feasible to place a wind chime. Your question is just like: - You: (You walk into an A and E 2…

Hello Thank you for allowing me to post on this forum. I have a question. Can I use a Ba Gua mirror to deflect negative and aggressive energy coming from my neighbor’s house? I have no ill thoughts towards my neighbors but their barking dogs are causing a lot of stress that is coming into my house. They are directly in front of my house. Can I use a ba gua mirror? If yes, which one? Flat, convex or concave? Thank you.

Dear Anon, Anon wrote: Hi, heard from some geomancer that it is not good to use a bed that has no legs because there is no path below the bed for air to flow through. Is this true? Yes, that is true. A commonsense reason why it is better to have bed with legs, is because it is far easier to keep the room clean if you have beds with beds as opposed to those box bed. This way, you can keep the floor clean and avoid any built up of dust/germs/bed bugs etc. Hope that helps. Warmest Regards Robert Lee GEOMANCY.NET - Center for Applied Feng Shui Research

Dear Kim Lee, 1. Frankly, I am not in the position to comment on the type of Feng Shui advice that was given to you previously. 2. Usually, when we make an accessment, the breadwinner and spouse Ba Zi is looked at: 2.1 For example: What is the husband's Ba Zi element and strength? e.g. husband = weak wood. 2.2 What is the wife's Ba Zi element and strength? Strong metal. 3. In such a situation, the binding element for both partners is water. 4. In the above example since the husband is a weak wood, too much earth element is harmful to him. (Although Earth element is suppose to be his `wealth' element. Note: wealth element is auspicious only if one is a strong wood person, …

Dear Elena, I will get back on this in more detail. Presently, avoid a fence that looks like the attached. As you correctly mentioned, good fence is nice to have. Fences that e.g. use wrought iron i.e. squarish or roundish bars are good. They are equally good e.g. if an arrow head design is pointed upwards. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Vivien, Please see below:- Usually, many FS practitioners consider the frontage as the location where: 1. there is often "clear space". For example, such as often, the car drives up to the front of the home (and /or) 2. There is a noticeable distinction of having a living room at the frontage and where often, the back is much part of the kitchen/ storeroom/backyard / laundry area. 3. Often also, if a home is "back-to-back" with one another, many homes have their back with the back of it's neighbour's home. 4. Please note that the above is not conclusive but rather, it depends on each individual situation. But it should be quite a reasonble guide. 6.…

Dear Max, For a person who is `strong fire'; it is best to be associated with a business related to Metal. (wealth element). You can generate the Career report which will further give a breakdown of: 1. Career associated with wealth 2. Career associated with power. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, Please see below:- 2. A stationary metal cure e.g. 6-coins in cases where there are a combination of bad wood plus bad earth (especially #5) may not be enough. 3. An alternative is to place the 6-coins into a glass jar (the size of a jam jar) and add a spoonful of salt. Water is filled to between 1/3 to 1/2 (of the jam jar) or covering the surface of all the 6-coins. This is one way to activate a constant flow of metal. 4. Frankly, no one can tell exactly which is better i.e. a clock pendulum or a music pendulum. As it varies with the manufacturer and size of the object. 5. A simple test is by-the-ear. So long as one can hear a distinct `tick-tock' sound in…

Hello Master Lee; My birthday is 6-13-1955 born at 3:04PM. 10 years ago we moved into our house #2095 on the west side of a north/south running street. There is only a garage door on the south side of the house. It is in a U shape with the top of the U facing north. The entrance comes into the kitchen on the north western side of the west side of the house up a flight of stairs leading from the southern side driveway which runs east to west.. The bedrooms are on the east side of the house with the master BR on the northeast protrusion of the U. In the southeast corner of the house are two BR's that my children sleep in. Between the Master BR and the children's BR's are …

Dear Elena, Please see below:- Although a U shaped house is not ideal but overall, it is still acceptable design. Yes, the addition can still be made six months after they move in. Please email to robert-lee@3dmail.com so that he can provide you with a free credit to generate the month auspicious date. Here, you need to obtain the breadwinner's date of birth (time optional) and if the month of reno is clear, use the report to find out a good date to start the renovation. The above looks ok to me. Warmest Regards, Cecil

It is good if there is a layout or simple sketch. As in many instances; some of us may mis-interpret the "center-of-gravity" of a home wrongly. Just recently, a client was so worried about an "L' shaped layout plan. When I reviewed the layout plan; instead there were some protrusions and missing corner(s) for this home. And the layout plan based on the "centre-of-gravity" concept; is not an "L"-shaped layout plan.

These are some considerations 1. It should be 14 steps. 2. In Feng Shui; it is always good to have a turn or landing at a staircase. 2.1. Some geomancers explain that it is to allow good qi to meander or flow from the ground floor to the upper floor and vice versa. 3. Another side of it has more to do with common sense: 3.1. This is because, touch-wood! If someone were to trip and fall on the upper stairs, often they will land onto the landing then to fall all the way down the entire stairs sometimes to the bottom steps. 3.2. A landing serves as a temporary resting area for some elderly before they further negotiate further up the staircase. 3.2.1. Therefore, it makes s…

Dear Kathy, 1. Primarily, under Shapes and Form FS, check to see that the centre of the home (where possible) should be one where there is clear space. 2. For the fire-place, ideally it should be located where one wall is occupying an external wall. This is the same concept of a toilet where, one wall should preferably be an external wall. This would `prevent' the fire-place being in the centre of the house. It may depend on the size of the house. 3. If you are looking at asthetics to consider whether your house is balanced, it is quite difficult (I believe) to achieve since it is difficult or near impossible to move your fire-place. 4. Basically for windows, the main th…

Dear Ulla, 1. In all honesty, the various practitioners or masters who utilize time zone or location factors to modify the original ba zi are relatively recent developments advocated by modern practitioners. 2. Perhaps the only method that could be somewhat logical is applying the location factor to adjust the location to the current moon location. However, even this approach presents numerous challenges. For instance, a slight deviation of 0.01 degree in latitude or longitude can significantly alter your ba zi chart, resulting in less accuracy compared to not considering the hour of birth. Additionally, most individuals do not possess the exact information. …

Dear Maree, In my opinion, once a body gets cremated and resultant = ash, this material is considered `neutral'. From my past experience, there is no ill effects in keeping it in the home. However, it is best to place the container in a `respectable' location. For example, on a high table (not within reach of children). And try to place it:- 1. If there is a specific table just for it; this is ok. 2. On this table, a bouquet of flowers (artificial) also can. 3. Avoid placing this table facing the dining table. 4. Avoid having it's back against the same wall as the toilet. 5. Avoid placing the jar in the kitchen, kitchen cabinet or in the store room. Warmest Regards, Ceci…

It is SYMBOLIC of "GROWTH". The picture, in this link shows how this household did the procedure:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=19&mid=22648&new= Isn't the tray with the green beans which turned into bean sprouts, lovely? Please note that these are vegetables. And usually can last a week. Thus, if the green beans does not sprout like in the picture: 1.1 Make sure that it is placed in a location where there is light. As light and water is needed for germination. 1.2 Even after three days, you can still add some water. 1.3 Once it grows until as lovely as the picture, time to throw it away! 1.4. As vegetables are unlike plan…

Dear Anon, This is a good question. Actually, what I am referring is Sha Qi due to poison arrows ie. poison arrows aimed at the main entrance for example. Or when your main entrance door directly face the a backdoor or windows. One has therefore to be careful that this concept of `what you can't see is no longer a threat'. The above is meant for visual objects and not meant to be applied to underground courses etc... It is totally different. It is good that you pointed out this and it is hoped that the above clearly explains the distinction. Another further distinction is because undergound water is considered `vapours' or the emission of vapours. It has been proven in i…

Dear Cecil, really needed your help on this. My wife use the room with robbery star for his work and recent months has been losing many deals; almost close and then gone. The other rooms are also no good with M5 &W9 ,B9 and M7 & W9 , B2 . I told her to try the hall with M6 & W8 , B1 but I am not very sure whether it is the right advice as it is near the main entrance. Please advise how does one overcome or reduce the strength of robbery star M9 & W5 , B4. Thanks Anthony

Dear Janice, Overall, there should not be any worry here: 1. Under the Feng Shui concept - If you cannot see it, it is not a "threat". Here, since the items are `kept' in the built in drawers, there is no cause to worry unless you start to place `dangerous' or inflammable items eg. inflammable liquids etc... 2. Some Feng Shui practioners I understand say that one must sleep on a bed with e.g. 4 legs to let Qi circulate under the bed. Here, there is really no cause for concern because: a. Many Japanese have been sleeping on floor mats for centuries. b. Many "boxed" beds with springs equally do are not "hollow" below except for four rollers. These beds for example are foun…

This link is useful on "Bau-bologie". Which is the Germany study `similiar' with Feng Shui:- http://www.bau-biologieusa.com/ Quote and Credit from the above site:- What is Bau-biologie? The German term "Bau-biologie" means "building biology" or "the relationship between buildings and life" and could be defined as: The impact of the building environment on human health, and the application of this knowledge to the construction, or modification, of homes and workplaces, and The holistic interaction between human life and other life-forms with our environment.

Dear Anon, Please see below:- Water need not be running underground but if it is due to leaks which causes `invisible vapours', there is some cause and concern. It is the `vapours' that one should be more concerned of. Thus vapour, either from underground or leaks that cause the ground to become damp, is said to release `vapours' although, it may not be seen by the naked eye. Apologies, I do not know of any. Yes, you can sent a scanned layout of where the dampness is. But, it may not be totally possible to see how far it spread. However, it is still best to determine where the leak occurs and if possible, seal it. If not, try to, if you can, sleep in a locati…
