Dear Anon, Please see below:- The best `cure' is to see if you can have a screen behind your bedroom door or place a linen cupboard before entering the door. A potted plant can be used but in my opinion less effective for a `C' configuration. However, you can try to see if can help. As you can always remove the plant afterwards. Another method is to place a semi-circular mat facing away from the bedroom door and `cutting' or `slicing' the steps of the staircase leading to the room. Do try the above out. Dear Anon, Based on symbolism in Feng Shui, in my opinion, boxed beds are not considered `inauspicious': 1. It is still considered a `whole' bed i.e. it is not spilt up ned together (two single bed). Not "split up" even if it has two layers. 2. There should not be an issue on whether the bed should have a gap below it. This is because in many countires e.g. Japan, usually sleep even on tatami mats on the floor. 3. It is good to have paqua flooring or "wooden" flooring. Thanks for the photograph. Without which, may have a misunderstanding. As this type of bed is unique. Can common sense explain why it is inauspicious? Some beds are "slippery" and perhaps due to "physical activities" sometimes, both beds may split apart or leave a gap in-between. This is the only possibilty based on common sense. However, it also boils down to whether the bed has rollers or the bed legs floating on "slippery" slides for ease of moving - cleaning below. But all these can be fixed. Thus, not a permanent issue. Dear Anon, Here, the principle of `since one cannot see it, it no longer becomes a threat' cannot be applied. This is because, the bed is not a poison arrow where, the threat can be neutralised if it is covered up from This is because, symbolically, you are still sleeping on the bed. (Even though, it is say covered with a bed sheet). No matter how, one is still `smbolically' sleeping on the same `divided' bed. At the moment, I cannot think of any solution with this divide. Dear Chai, This is based on the Eight Aspirations or Eight/Life Associations where North is the career sector. The above is based on the interpretation of the Gua Trigram where North = Career sector. Unfortunately, this is a general statement and is not personalised to anyone. It is like saying that North = Water sector. It is a period 6 house but I am not sure if it became a period 7 house. As for the door that does not close properly or difficult to close, it moves closer to Feng Shui and `commonsense approach'. 3. It is best that such as important thing like the main door not being able to close properly is best fixed as soon as possible. 4.
