Yes, if google map does show the outline of your new home; you can use the method I mentioned earlier via a protractor to determine the correct facing direction of a home. Even if one is standing on an empty land try to take a few readings as sometimes there may be metal objects embedded in the hidden ground. Things like a manhole cover can give off false reading. Or a concrete path which often has a metal mesh to strengthen it. Anything with metal is detrimental to the compass reading. Alternatively, as mentioned previously; you couldseek help from the architectural firm to provide you with the blueprint of your home. Mostof such blueprint should actually have a North m…

    1. When using an oridinary compass, to take a reading, one should stand inside the house looking outwards. 2. For a landed property, often, the facing direction should often be (or usually) such as standing inside the compound of e.g. the garden looking (taking a reading) facing the same direction of the main entrance. Here, in general, many homes have it's frontage / main door at this area. 3. Try not to apply the fixed template bagua Feng Shui. This is a modern invention.

I believe I've learned the modern method rather than the traditional method. I'll use the the Flying Star Chart pie chart to get it properly aligned. I believe it's a very large protrusion, almost making an L-shape. Thanks!

This link shows a simple illustration chart between how Tung Shu vs Ba Zi select auspicious dates For some persons, selected ba zi dates coincide with the Tung Shu dates. For many others, since the dates are personalised to them and their partner; what is good in the Tung Shu may not necessary be good, here. Thus ideally, my advice is; if one were to use one method; one may be surprised to learn that it may not be good in the Tung Shu. Best to either say: I will pick dates based on e.g. Tung Shu (full stop.) Or if one chooses dates based on ba zi; then stop looking at the Tung Shu! This is simplistic chart showing the key differences between Tung Shu vs Ba Zi methods http…

The best solution is as illustrated previously, is to do landscaping "behind" the home. Best lightfixtures shouldpreferably form a "square or rectangular" shape as far aspossible: just imagine froma helicopter view.

Dear Jojo, If you want to practise 9 Star Ki, it is adviseable not to practise Feng Shui because it has its own `ruleset' and some of the key essence is the same but however, there are still some differences and if one does not know sure of the actual differences, one may end up creating problems for themselves. Basically for Feng Shui is the time for the breadwinner to enter the house is important. As for the direction, which you mentioned, in practical reality, when you travel say on the road, it is most likely that one may turn into an inauspicious direction. Therefore, this rule is not an important rule to take into account in our modern society. Lets look at it this …

Dear Sudha, Thanks for taking the time to do a Eight House. 1. Based on your Eight House: N = Longevity NE = Disaster (Currently the door of the house) E = Prosperity SE = Health S = Excellent SW = Irritation W = Spook NW = Death Since SE is the health line, is it possible for your head to face East (Prosperity), South (Excellent), North (Longevity) or SE (Health). These are the sectors your head should face. 2. Another observation is that where possible it is best to sleep with the head rest against a wall rather than on an `island' on its own. 3. You should also watch out for `poision arrows' since there are three cupboards. Look out for the edge of these cupboards. If …

Dear Chrinstine, Many thanks for posting the three pictures. I now can better understand from the pictures: 1. The plot of land where your neighour's house is (i.e. behind your house) has sha qi. 2. As for your house, once, the neighbour's house is up and you have a fence, it will be shielded from the sha qi of the `T' junction. 3. I understand from the picture that there are no trees (as this is a new plot of land). Currently with no trees, the land has sha qi from exposed `wind'. I believe, as more trees are ground around the estate it would be ok. 4. Under Shapes and Form of Feng Shui:- 4.1 A single house should not be surrounded i.e. an `island' of roads on all four s…

Since you mentioned that it occurs when the year, month and base are equal to #6 x 3; in my opinion, I take it that it does not appear all the time. As due to time dimensions, especially the month can change and for the year, a year passes so fast. Thus time dimensions need to be taken into consideration, here. Another view point is that in other sectors; without the #5, but if there was the #9 e.g. As the water or mountain star, such combinations of #6 will instead kill or neutralize a good star number.

  11. These are some considerations: You wrote: 1. if I can still activate both these stars with water and mountain feature, because star 7 is considered inauspicious now in Period 8 and I also have a base and annual star of 3(bad star) at the entrance area also, unless you meant that my house period 7 luck will continue into period 8 without any major renovation to change my house to Period 8. 1.1 In general, from 2004 to 2023, #7 and #7 x2s will continue to be a bad number: Theft and Robbery star. #7 = weak metal. 1.2 If there is an annual star = #3; this is considered as bad wood element. And under the Five elements concept: Water fuels wood. Thus, in theory, placing a w…

  14. Dear Joe, A staircase facing the bedroom door is considered inauspicious because of Sha Qi. This is because of the negative flow of Qi of the staircase that flows directly into the bedroom (if the door is not closed). No matter if the stairs is facing the bedroom i.e. upwards movement or at the main entrance door, you see the staircase, both are considered inauspicious. A staircase should not go straight up but have a turn or landing is better to reduce Sha Qi. Placing a mirror at the landing or turn is not compulsory. Normally if space permits, a plant at one side of the steps (at ground level) is useful. Warmest Regards, Cecil -----Original Message----- From: Listmanage…

Question: May I know where is the best place to put all the items such as salt, oil, rice, huat kuay, pineapple etc after we brought them into the house and for how long we need to put it there? The idea of bringing in the items are symbolic. It implies stocking up essentials. Thus, anytime, after bringing them in; they can be properly organized and stored in their respective places. And to be used or consumed, anytime afterwards. Thus there is no hard or fast rule to where to place them; but definitely after bringing them into the kitchen, one day must keep or place them in their proper shelves.

  19. Base on your topic description, you are asking whether you are a strong or weak person. You can use the free report:- http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-element.htm And in the attached sample, there is a field to indicate whether a person is strong or weak. In the attached sample, the person is considered as a WEAK EARTH person.

Dear Anon, As requested please find three favourable situations of bedrooms with windows on various sides of the room (no attached bathrooms) Please wait, file loading...File size = 16.7K All three layout plans: A, B and C are favourable. In the event that the bed faces a toilet door, one can place a side table with a table lamp to act as a `screen' or barrier between the toilet door and the bed.

  21. Dear Chan, I1. I believe this concept leans towards modernity and common sense, particularly in a contemporary household where the kitchen, despite the abundance of electrical appliances, stands out as a crucial element, such as the stove. Therefore, the kitchen poses the highest risk of a fire starting. 2. It is common knowledge that in the event of a fire, it is likely to spread to the upper level, intensifying the heat on the ceiling shared with the floor above. 2.1. To mitigate this risk, it is advisable to either minimize cooking in the kitchen or ensure that all flammable items are stored safely. 2.2. Additionally, the installation of smoke detec…

These are some considerations 1. It should be 14 steps. 2. In Feng Shui; it is always good to have a turn or landing at a staircase. 2.1. Some geomancers explain that it is to allow good qi to meander or flow from the ground floor to the upper floor and vice versa. 3. Another side of it has more to do with common sense: 3.1. This is because, touch-wood! If someone were to trip and fall on the upper stairs, often they will land onto the landing then to fall all the way down the entire stairs sometimes to the bottom steps. 3.2. A landing serves as a temporary resting area for some elderly before they further negotiate further up the staircase. 3.2.1. Therefore, it makes s…

    1. Yes, what you said is absolutely, correct! 2. As once we purchased a home (especially a built up home), we cannot just change it's environment nor the site. 3. Thus do or die, Shapes and Forms Feng Shui has to be correct! 4.1 Yes, in addition to wrongly calculated ba zi; it is correct that we may even get the birthdates wrong. In Singapore, Malaysia, also, many do not report the birth of their children early - especially in the 1920's to 1940's. And some people only go to a police reporting station several weeks later and their birthdate is "stamped" that day! 4.2 This is why only the experts, are confident of using only the Ba Zi method, fully. But again, it make…
