Hi, Please read below:- This means that if you are water and fire is your wealth, if you are a strong water and constantly with an environment or job which represents fire, you are likely to be successful and wealthy! But only if you are strong enough to take advantage of it! Deity is like a god which for the Pillars presents some helping stars. It is represented by the 5 elements of which there is a direct, and indirect version of each element. For example, direct wealth and indirect wealth. This means that direct wealth is wealth you obtain from your hard work. As for indirect wealth are wealth such as inheritance or winning lottery etc. Bone is a term use by t…

Hi, Please read below:- Generally, you still can, but not advisable if your situation is such that you have too much of water. What you should try to do is reduce the influence. However, please do not take it the wrong way or go to the extreme. Lets say that even if you are considered a Strong Water, does that mean that you cannot have metal? Remember that Feng Shui is about balance, and it is best to have a little of everything. This means that if in your Pillars you find that you do not have any Earth, then you should still try to create some earth by wearing some earthly colour or use Fire to produce what you lack. Why should you still have some unfavourable elem…

Dear Sue, Please read below:- ----- Original Message ----- From: Listmanager To: Sent: Wednesday, July 07, 1999 3:42 AM Subject: Main door Normally you should stand in the center of the house out of the main door. However, if you do that sometimes, there is some magnetic field which shifts your compass needle a bit. Which is why, sometimes a reading from the outside is needed to confirm that the compass is not affected by the building structure. However, if you use a shielded compass, then this would not matter. Please check Cecil's compass method. This is quite accurate and easy. This elminates many of the problems of the standing outside. URL: http://www.geomancy…

Dear Jason, Please read below:- ----- Original Message ----- From: Listmanager To: Sent: Tuesday, July 06, 1999 11:33 PM Subject: Wealth Elements The element which you destroy is your wealth element. However, although I can generally deduce the element is represented by it, in order to deduce whether it is main wealth or unexpected wealth, you need to refer to the Pillars as a condition is required to deduce it. Again, thanks for your wonderful advices to all of us. I am speaking here like I am the spokesman for us all, but I really do appreciate each and everything you advises whether it will benefit me or not but I have learned so much so far from what I have already read from you site and believe me, I did read each and every thing from your site and saved some portions of it especially the instructions on how to determine the centre of the house and determining the front door and so on and so forth along these lines. I have done a partial Flying Star analysis, that is the main trouble so I am getting more curiouser and curiouser about Feng Shui after also acquiring the …

Hi, Frankly so far, I don't think there is anything written in the past (nor the present) on the use of water beds and metal beds. As I mentioned in a few forum messages that the original use of Feng Shui caters more towards Feng Shui Masters locating a site for a city e.g. Canton or many other Chinese Cities. Following this, their concern is with a site within a city and perhaps an overall location of a village. The closes to the bed is the use of the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui and the use of Compass School techniques such as the Eight House and the Flying Star. What does all this mean? Feng Shui is all about trying to enhance beneifical qi or to neutralise Sha …

Hi, Please read below:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/music.htm However, I personally feel that certain music are soothing to a person, and this does help a person relax. In Singapore, for example, in certain Chinese bookstore, eg. The Commercial Press located at Victoria Street, have a small collection of music which was packaged for Feng Shui and Yin / Yang Music. Some of these are quite interesting. There is one for relief of constipation, headache, overweight, stress etc. For those who are in Singapore, you can find such music available in stores, even in Popular Bookstore at Bras Basah Rd. Hi, Please read below:- Usually it is a 3-legged frog with a coin in its mouth. As Cecil has mentioned, Feng Shui is not about religion or statues worship. Many Feng Shui or Feng Shui related shops are marketing oriented and sell a wide variety of products which claims that by buying the product and placing it in your home, it brings you luck. Therefore, it is not part feng shui. If you want to place it, I guess it best displayed in your living room and based more on your instincts. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

I have read with interest the various questions sent to the forum recently regarding Windchimes, Coins, Eight Life Aspirations etc. etc. and would like to tell my story. In 1997 I became interested in FS and started reading whatever books I could get on the subject. I then followed what was said, wind chime here, coins there, plant here, water there and the list went on. To say my family experienced many problems is putting it mildly. I urge fellow forum members to take heed of the advice Cecil and Robert give you in relation to "Fast Food Feng Shui" as believe me, disaster WILL strike. Glyn

HI, Please read below:- I think that is more of a superstition than Feng Shui. Personally, I do not think there is anything about traditional Feng Shui about this. If anyone have any other opinion on this, feel free to share it.

Hi, Please read below:- I believe you can see our stand in such matters. There is no such general tips that actually helps to enhance a person. The only true and effective way is to enhance one's self. Say for a weak water, wood is good and fire is a person's wealth. If you want to enhance wealth, you need to be with more of your wealth elements. If you want to enhance your weak self, say if you are frequently sick, then a good way is to enhance your water with wood. These information are normally found when you do a full pillars. And basing of the many information found in the report. It depends on what you want to enhance, then make provision by being with these el…

Hi, Please read below:- You can hang anything you want. The only thing is when you want to be concerned with Feng Shui, then you would want to hang items which are good for you rather then bad for you. Say if you a a weak wood, then hanging water type objects is beneficial for you because it is your favourable elements that help you grow. Say if you are Earth person, then hanging water type objects represents your Wealth as Earth destroy Wealth. However, please note that you should be a strong Earth to have full benefit of this because, when your earth is used to destroy water element, it gets weaken also. So it all depends. Nothing in the world is all bad. It is bad…

Hi, Please read below:- Actually, if you look at it realistically. Why do you ever want to put a painting or candles in the bathroom? I mean won't the steam from hot/warm water, damage it or put our the candles? So far from what I know of this, I don't find anything wrong with having shower curtains. I don't think that belongs to any Feng Shui related issues. The rational behind it is that if you notice that flying star always changes, and it is definitely possible for the bad stars to fall in any one of the true sectors (eg 0 degree, 45 degree etc). So when this happens the good chi which say happens to be southwest this year would go down the drain? So, because…

Dear Ber, Please read below:- Thank you for your encouragement. Don't need to resent this mail. We have not forgotten it. It is just that we answer mails not based on the time it was sent but rather the content of the mails. If you really want to you may want to do a numerology for the date of birth, that should also give you some lucky numbers. You can download the Free Feng Shui Software from the website, there is a numerology software which analyses the natal number for you. URL: http://www.geomancy.net/software/index.htm Just remember to key in the Lunar Birth Date rather then the Solar Birth Date, as I have no time to put in the conversion module yet.…

Hi, Please read below:- For example of the material of the wind chime is metal, and there is 5 rods, this means that the wind chime is a earth-metal wind chime. Generally, 2,3,4,5 are associated very closely with the inauspicious stars, and if you hang this in location which has a star 2,3,4,5 you are likely to trigger the influence of these stars thus causing bad influences. It is not so much that solid wind chime or even that say star 5 wind chime is not useful. You have to be careful as to where you are putting it. If place correctly, the element influence which you are looking for will remove the inauspicious influence based on the element composition of the …

Dear Jason, Please read below:- Just the element representation in a shape or colour for personal cures will be sufficient. No the size does not matter, it is the shape and form that is of more importance. Anything represented by the element should be sufficient. Normally for personal cures, colours of clothing is the most appropriate. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Hi, Here are several important considerations to keep in mind: 1. It is advisable to reassess the overall configuration of the house. 2. As Robert pointed out, a missing corner is defined as one that exceeds 33.3 percent of the house's total area. 3. Often, without careful examination, one might mistakenly identify a protrusion as a missing corner. 4. As you noted, it is not practical to install mirrors on both sides of every wall to compensate for a missing corner. 4.1. For further information regarding the significance of a missing corner, please visit: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/building.htm. 5. One effective way to mitigate this issue i…

Hi, It is `customary' not to move the bed when one is pregnant. The Chinese believe that this may result in a miscarriage. Similiarly, if the wife is pregnant, it is best not to move house during the term of her pregnancy. If there is a real need, she should not be around to see the movement of the bed etc... As Robert mentioned, this is not Feng Shui but more towards Chinese Superstitious beliefs. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi, Basicially, Feng Shui is not a religion and thus there is no relevance to statues or `statue worship'. Feng Shui is both an art (Shapes and Form) and a science (Compass School: Eight House and Flying star). For those who are not aware, the Dragon Horse and the Dragon Turtle statues are derived from the two stories of how Fu Xi, a Chinese Emperor discovered the Luo Shu grid which is the mathematical formula on how the Flying Star base numbers, water and mountain stars are derived. The url for this story is under http://www.geomancy.net/fs/tortise.htm Similiarly, Flying Horse (Dragon horse) tells another story of another pattern found on this horse. I guess, some enterp…

Hi, Recently, I read in the local newspapers that living too close to hight tension wires are not adviseable. However, rougly from what you have wrote, I guess the high tension poles/wires are quite far away. The recent article mentioned the higher incidence of `cancer' living too close to the high tension wires. If it quite far away, it usually do not pose any `threat' to your dinning room windows. In my personal opinion, if it is more than 600 metres away is still acceptable. If there are trees planted between the high tension poles and your home much the better. Let me share with you one of the Traditional Feng Shui Theories called " Penmanship ". In the past, many Chi…

Dear Ber, Apologise for the previous mail, selected a wrong encoding method. Please read below:- ----- Original Message ----- From: Listmanager To: Sent: Monday, July 05, 1999 10:50 AM Subject: Dragon , snake and dog matching Also, when you talk about year compatibility, it only takes into account the year. In the entire 365 days, a dragon, can have different animal bones, and different elements, so sometimes if you look at it realistically, it does not matter which year you want have a baby. Do what every you feel is correct, trust a little of your own personal instinct. Chinese astrology or predictions can help you make a better judgement, but it all depends …
