Dear Anon, 1. The main door is the door that (usually is interpreted) as the door e.g. with the house number on it. 2. Please see below:- 4. Here, by tilting the main door e.g. to North, or another direction, which is favourable to the breadwinner, it is like killing two birds with one stone i.e. avoiding the NE direction and making it auspicious for the breadwinner. 5. For your question of making the door the "northern direction" perhaps can you specify further. 6. As in the Compass School of Feng Shui, north is north, south is south. There is no reference to north and "northern direction?". 7. In such a situation, I believe that it is not correct to say that north…

Dear Joey, This is a very good question. Since you encountered such a situation, it is best to: 1. Often, this building does not stand-alone. 2. Do look around at other buildings on the same "row". And where their "main entrance" are located. 3. If it is a shopping complex, usually, there is a "major" entry or lobby vs a smaller side lobby. 4. Check for sun-light/shadow flow. Which facing is blocked by other buildings? 5. Is the building close to the sea? If so, often, we should look closely at the facing towards the sea. 6. At the entrance area, check to see which lobby looks bright (natural brightness). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Rolando, Industry Analysis: ================== The object or item: lingerie belongs to the earth element or clothing industry. Company Analysis: ================= Core business: a. For the manufacturer If the core business is to design and launch new lingerie, this can be considered under Wood element. b. In your case, most likely, you are selling lingerie, than the core business is Marketing / Sales. Under this area, it is considered as a fire element. The type of colour or outlet would depend on the type of clientelle that you are considering. If you are selling `niche' market lingerie, targetted to the boutique style, than - it is best to discuss with your Interio…

Dear William, William Neo wrote: I'm currently work as an audio engineer. I have read about other forum regarding their career element, but I'm not sure which category is mine falling into. Please advise me... On the other hand, is there anything pointers for me to note so that I will have a better career advancement? Audio tends to deal with Music or when sound is charted it is in the form of wavy lines. So I wouldclassify audio engineer under a Water element type career. Improving luck in as many areas in a person's life (ie a suitable home facing, suitable career, wearing colours favourable to you etc). The more areas in your life that is favourable to you, the bet…

1. In general, the wine industry is considered as belonging to the "Water" element. Reference: http://talk.geomancy.net 2. If you are promoting the "investment" into wines; then from your company's point of view; you should be considered as belonging to the Fire element: Marketing and Sales of wine. Especially if your company's purpose is to make a profit and in your case, you most probably, you may get a commission. 3. Although the term "investment" can be found under the Metal element, in the above link, personally, I feel this "investment" is strongly associated more with the Banking industry and meant more for the investor than the person, encouraging one to invest…

Dear Anon, Anonymous wrote: I just did a free Personal Ba Zi from your site which says I am a weak yin Water and itadvises me my favourable element color is white/gold/blue/black. Edited by Robert: Please note that this isa free advise forum, I will only be assisting on the portion regarding the main door/frontage question. The rest is more towards a paid consultation (House Hunting service) than a simple advise. Hi Master Lee, My partner and I have shortlisted 3 flats for our possible first home. My partner (breadwinner) is a Kua #9 (South), while I'm a Kua #7 (West). Our good/bad directions are opposite of each other. When analyzing the locations, we were confused if we should use the main door / where most light comes in (that's the window area) as the 'front'? The shortlisted flats are 1) Blk 250D Unit 43 (circle Red) 2) Blk 202A Unit…

Dear Joji, 1. In general, the 20 Year Flying Star chart is the basis or starting point for a Feng Shui audit for any home or office. 2. The rationale is because there are 15 specific directions a home/office can fall into. 3. Some of the directions have favourable qi as opposed to other (directions). 4. Please note that the 20 year flying star chart has three variables: Mountain star, water star and base star. 5. And the Yearly flying star has only one base number. 6. Aparently, if you want to learn more, yourself, please do more research into the difference between Para 4 and 5. Alternatively, perhaps, if you want a quick method, should get expert help. 7. Frankly, I do…

Dear Carrie, In many instances, both can carry the same weight. In addition, a third consideration is one's Pillars of Destiny - 10 year currentLuck period. Feng Shui is all about luck. And for more detailed diagnostics, usually the consequence is `heavier' where:- 1. Pillars of Destiny Luck Period - Inauspicious for the Year or current luck period. 2. Home Feng Shui needs further improvement 3. Office Feng Shui also is not so good. In above situation, the above three have a `pulling power' of making things not so lucky. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Eva, 1. The most common Compass School techique of the Eight House Theory is to look at the compatiblity of the house to the breadwinner. 2. I am not sure if I got your question correct, but perhaps, I believe what you meant was whose profile to use? If this is the case, usually it is the person who earns the most for the house. Thus for a suitable house i.e. front door, should be favourable to the element of the breadwinner. As Feng Shui is a holistic method, we should also for example look at each family member especially in relation to the intangible force at their bedroom. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Anon, 1. The key success factor in-fact has to do with: location, location and location. This is where the house / apartment is situated in an excellent location, first. 2. It is good to go thru some of my previous forum messages. Try to search for things like: " quantum leap "; to understand what excellent homes mean. 3. Therefore, Para 1 and 2, comes first. Next, it is good to have a suitable house/apartment. Please use the free Eight House tools available at: geomancy-online.com to generate reports to analyse the home. 4. For those who are new, should read some of the resources: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Rudresh, In my opinion: 1. India like China has one of the oldest civilisation. These two countries have some of oldest civilisation. 2. In fact, in the Chinese tale of "Journey to the West"; a Chinese monk of the Tang dynasty was given the task to go to India to obtain holy scriptures. 3. This does show that there is much to be learned from Indian culture. 4. Since China and India are close neighbours, there is indeed much trade and cutural exchanges. 5. I believe, (for now) Indian vasthu is not as contaminated or highly commercialised as " Feng Shui " of today. It is because of the highly commercialised `Feng Shui' what with FAST FOOD FENG SHUI and marketing geni…

1. Frankly, I would personally keep to SW. For three reasons:- a. #1 is the coming prosperity star as you had mentioned, thus SW is still a better overall choice. b. Current 20 year water wealth resides. c. SW happens to be the very auspicious indirect water wealth spirit location under Period 8. Thus a big water position, here is good.

1. I have some clients and apparently they had already purchased unit(s) facing the canal. They purchased before engaging my service. And so happens facing the canal side. One of them is a lecturer in one of the Universities in Singapore. But if Feng Shuied properly can still sustain the "impact" of this issue. 2. Ideally, based on Flying Star Feng Shui, the facing direction of the busier side is Period 8 West 2/3 facing which has double auspicious #8's and a good future prosperity star #1. Thus technically, the west facing (busier Bukit Timah Road side is suppose to have better qi) that is correct. 3. While the canal side or East2/3 has double auspicious #8's wasted …

Hi Angela, Sorry, but didn't see any attached picture. So quite difficult to comment based on your description. Please re-attach the file. Generally, you need to be more concerned about the breadwinner (probably your husband). You need to ensure that the house faces at least one of your 4 good directions and have a suitable bedroom for the breadwinner. If the eight house is quite opposite, then at least house should suit the breadwinner while the bedroom should suit the spouse. Hope that helps. Dear David, Thank you for the sketch of your home cum office. 1. The large tree outside is still considered a threat to your main door. See if you can use a ba gua mirror above the main door to deflect it. 2. Water position: 2.1 I do hope that the water position is not on the same wall as the stove. As this is inauspicious. 2.2 In addition, if you are a weak fire or a strong water person, then it is considered very unfavourable to have a water position inside your home. 2.3 If the current water position location has bad stars such as #3 or #4 (both bad wood stars) or a combination; 2.4 Then under the productive sequence of Five elements concept: Water helps wood (in this…

Dear Anon, Some information on wind chime(s):- 1. Under Flying Star Feng Shui, six represents "big metal". 2. Thus we often hear advice such as: - hang a set of six coins tied with red string or - hang a six hollow rod wind chime 2. As six represents "big metal", this big metal is particularly used to neutralise #2 sickness #5 misfortune /sickness and #3 quarrels/conflicts/lawsuits etc.. 3. A proper wind chime must not be colourful i.e. especially rainbow colours. 4. A wind chime should usually be made of: a. entirely copper plated (metallic) : traditional looking ones have a pagoda (trigram or 8 sided roof) with a ancient coin hung as the clinger. Some of these …

Dear Marilyn, marilyn o wrote: which is main door? the 1st steel gate of the whole property or the wood main door of the house? Since this is a landed property, then you should take the facing of your house. ie which is the frontage of your home. We do not take the steel gate because depending on the plot of land, sometimes where the gate is isn't exactly where your house faces. So you should focus on the house and which is considered the front of the house. marilyn o wrote: if its the actual door of the house, is it bad to have part of a post (the corner/edge is Not POINTING to the main door, just the side) is this also considered as poison arrow?
