Dear Anon, 1. Feng Shui is purely about our `Earth Luck'. 2. What you are practising is not Feng Shui. Such things has the highest rate of failure. 3.The clue here is that it is too general to be of use to most of us. 4. For example, taken to the extreme: the question asked is : 4.1 Are you sure that you had placed enough? 4.2 How are you so sure that your other suitor of your friend, had place even more than you. 5. Frankly, if we look or reason out, such material things; don't equate to or can give us proper results. 6. In general, such things can be said to play with `our minds'. 7. Often, when it does not yield results: this is where, we should seriously say: let's …

Hi, I heard that ponds are best placed in the East, SouthEast, and North regions, but is it in relation to a general map or in relation to a specific house? For ex. is the East side of the house always the East side shown on a regular map where the sun rises? Or is it the East side of the house based on where the entrance of the house is located, meaning does East change based on where the house is facing?

Dear Colleen, 1. The best way to enhance a house is not to `pay homage' to a few corners of a house. 2. Like an animal or a human being, it is never wise to `corner' someone at a corner. The human or animal becomes extremely threaten and can become `dangerous' or very dangerous. I mentioned this to illustrate how bad `CORNERS' can affect our lives. This is just an illustration. 3. In fact, if one wants to look at `corners' it is more fruitful to just simply look at it from Shapes and Form Feng Shui. Here, look out for `threats' to the main entrance door or windows. Check to see if the house and interior such as position of beds etc.. conform to good Shapes and Form. 4. T…

Dear Brenda, In my opinion, flower prints including leaves are acceptable on comforters and sheets. In fact, quite alot of bed sheets/spreads do use the flower/leaf theme. Unlike: 1. Actual plants where; when it grows, a more create yang environment. 2. Actual water, creates too yin i.e. fish tank in the bedroom or a picture of a rushing water-fall or `choppy' seas / waterfall. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Carrie, Please see below:- 1. The Bagua trigram (which includes the Bagua mirror has to be display outside of the house e.g. above a door. 2. As there is another question on the same subject in the next recent forum message, I will touch on it in that message. 3. There is no basis for a Bagua mirror to be placed to enhance a situation if the location it faces is an auspicious location unless to `ward off evil'. A bagua mirror is commonly used for:- 1. To neutralise Sha Qi or poision arrow aimed at e.g. the main entrance door or a window. Here it is place above the main entrance door (at the centrepoint). 2. In Asia, it is very common for Feng Shui practioners wh…

Dear Anon, 1. There is a difference between 2-3 and 3-2. 2. It is best to as you had mentioned keep quiet for a 2-3 (2mountain 3water) combination. 3. If it is the opposite i.e. 3-2, then this is considered a separate combination from 2-3. Thus one can still use constant effect of metal here. 4. Just last week, I had a client who had her master bedroom located at the East. She had constant health problems. The recommended cure is to: a. Use two separate sets of 6-coins at a distance of 1-2 metres each e.g. place one 6-coin at a corner and another 6-coins 1 metre to 2 metres away. In addition, if one is using a wind chime, it should be placed outside the window. Alternat…

Dear Brenda, 1. In my opinion, Feng Shui based on `sectors' is too general and I feel that it is an unreliable form. 2. The question I often ask myself is: How is it that each and everyone's SW is the marriage and romance corner? It is not possible especially if everyone tries to `enhance the sector. 3. I often quote the situation where there is say only 1 lady and three men have made much effort to enhance their SW. For example, one man placed 1 rose at the SW. While the second male placed 12 roses at SW. The third person places 100 roses at SW. 4. Does it mean that the one that enhances that sector the `most' eventually "gets" the lady? What if they all wait and as a r…

Dear Carrie, 1. On this site, the interpretation is inside my course materials on Flying Star, but currently as I mentioned in a few postings that, I prefer to work on it further as I am not fully satisfied with the course materials. 2. Currently, the Flying Star Report available under www.geomancy-online.com fully meets the requirements and is exhaustive in analysing all three components: Water, Mountain and Base stars for each sector. And giving advise when needed for imbalances within each sector and also providing advise on the element required. 3. So far, I have only seen others who only manage to just generate the charts but lack fully in the above analysis. 4. The…

Hi, For 3 years I have lived in an old hotel that went bankrupt because of lack of customers. The hotel is half way up a mountain, and there are no shops or cafes around. There is a very old building close by which was the main hotel. It looks like a ghost hotel. The rooms have been remade into apartments. After I came here, my career and relationships have suffered. Could this be due to living in a hotel that was closed and made into apartments? There is a feeling of "stagnation". Cheers

Dear Master Lee, Let me first thank you for all these great resources. I have been lurking around to learn more about Feng Shui and your website has been of great help. Recently, we moved in our new home. The land is not square/rectangular and I'm afraid this could affect us. I believe we have a missing corner at the back of our land as you can see in this picture. Is there any remedy that we can apply to mitigate this issue? I have included a picture of our lot. Thank you!

Dear Cecil, I'd like to ask some questions regarding a business element. As we know that the element of trading is water. But are the things being traded important too? For example, what is the element of trading electronics parts? Water or metal or fire? What happens if we trade many things which cover all 5 elements. If possible, could you please write an article on your web site that contains the element of each kind of business and career. Thanks in advance. Regards, Wasis

Dear Anil, Yes, you are correct to bring up this issue. In a modern crowded city, one should instead look at Feng Shui at a macro level. Here, cities should instead be considered instead as at a micro level. Many cities come under this definition. Where, wealth creation is based on (for the majority) the wealth created within the city. Thus, it would explan one's puzzlement as to how do we look at Feng Shui of an apartment say which is surrounded by similar apartments or buildings and where streets may be relatively rectangular in shape and cross each other at intersections. Please see below:- Overall, as mentioned earlier, for a city, we can consider wealth as over…

Greetings master and fellow users of this forum! I have recently got a house that is a NE2 Period 8 house. A Reversed house, Parent string. I haven't moved to the house just yet, I have plans on building a small pond in the SW2 and enhance a small mountain at the front (there is a building that is higher than mine, but a little further, so I want to create a small artificial hill incorporating my front fence). I have two issues now: 1. how is the period 9 going to affect this house? 2. I'm a Xun Metal monkey (female, born in 1980). The main door is on TIger mountain, so a direct clash. What do I do to make this house a harmounious Parent String Formation fo…
