We just moved in, and our upstairs neighbors are going up and down the stairs all day in front of our window. I would estimate it's about 5 or 6 feet away from our left front window, which is a very large window. It's an apartment building with an unusual layout from the 1960's, and we were lucky to get one of the apartments with larger front windows. However, due to our unfortunate apartment placing in the building (there's 22 units), we both get the stairs - and being a corner unit - we also have people walking by in front of the other, equally sized rightward window as well on their way to the parking lot. Hello Feng Shui masters, I'm looking at purchasing a property and while the apartment itself is not trapezoidal shaped, the detached garage (on the basement level) has a storage cage which is very obviously an irregular shape. Dear Anil, In my opinion, what you described is minor or really not much of an issue as it is felt that the movement of your personal vehicle is at low speed and unlike on a road. And would normally not cause Sha qi. Unless (I believe this is quite remote) that particular sector of the bedroom has a flying star combination of #2 with #3 (which would require `stillness' or `quietness' at that sector. In 2015, we changed the Floor Tiles of 1st & 2nd Floors In 2020, we change the Floor Tiles of both Additional Floors. Dear Anon, In my opinion, this is considered a minor renovation and from my personal experience; I feel that (or strongly feel) that there is no change in the period of the house. Especially more so, if the house was built under Period 7 i.e. 1984 to 2003. And during this period, if a house was built anytime after 1984, it does not matter if renovation has been carried out many times from 1984 to 2002. The house will always remain a Period 7 house. Dear Carrie, Based on the Five elements concept, you should wear wood colours e.g. green or brown. Avoid wearing Red, pink or purple. The purpose is to reduce the imbalance caused by too much earth. You must not add more earth, as this cause too much earth. Remember that the Five Elements is all about balance. The imbalance of too much earth should be neutralised by e.g. wood element such as green or wood. You can also consider water element e.g. wearing it. 1. Is the fengshui for this stacked building good for business? The lower levels are for retail and level 4 onwards are for office use. I am looking to rent an office unit there and wonder if it’s better to be on the lower stack or higher stack. 2. Dear Anon, 1. Based on 965, where 9 represents fire, six metal element and 5 (bad Yellow five or earth), the 9 with 5 is not ideal as fire (9) enhances earth (5). 2. A 6 (metal) may not be enough in such a situation. 3. Many FS practitioners, consider a computer as belonging to the fire element.
