My husband is metal (7) and I'm an earth (8). Our house facing direction is east (build in 2018 roof finished)/2019). Meaning that our most favorable sleeping shared sleeping direction would be west as all our walls face a north/south/east/west. If north is the favorable facing of the house, which is the correct direction? is it no 1 (outward facing) or no.2 (inward facing) And does it matter if thr door is located at the right side or the left side of the house? thx for your kind attention.

Dear Emily, If one is applying Feng Shui, the basis of choosing colours to paint is based on one's ba zi (favourable) and if the house is owned by husband/wife, then especially for the bedroom and living room area, the binding element plus which sector the room is at can affect the consideration for the colours. Hi Sir I live in a HDB in SG. My front door and gate faces my neighbor's front door and gate directly due to HDB design. Recently my new neighbor has pointed his Front Gate Frame Black.
