Dear Anon, In my opinion, this is considered a minor renovation and from my personal experience; I feel that (or strongly feel) that there is no change in the period of the house. Especially more so, if the house was built under Period 7 i.e. 1984 to 2003. And during this period, if a house was built anytime after 1984, it does not matter if renovation has been carried out many times from 1984 to 2002. The house will always remain a Period 7 house. My husband is metal (7) and I'm an earth (8). Our house facing direction is east (build in 2018 roof finished)/2019). Meaning that our most favorable sleeping shared sleeping direction would be west as all our walls face a north/south/east/west. If north is the favorable facing of the house, which is the correct direction? is it no 1 (outward facing) or no.2 (inward facing) And does it matter if thr door is located at the right side or the left side of the house? thx for your kind attention.

Dear Emily, If one is applying Feng Shui, the basis of choosing colours to paint is based on one's ba zi (favourable) and if the house is owned by husband/wife, then especially for the bedroom and living room area, the binding element plus which sector the room is at can affect the consideration for the colours. Hi Sir I live in a HDB in SG. My front door and gate faces my neighbor's front door and gate directly due to HDB design. Recently my new neighbor has pointed his Front Gate Frame Black. Hi Sifu, We recently bought a new house in Melbourne Australia. Wanting to get everyone's thoughts about the plan layout and also the fengshui of the land in general. It's a mid century home and there is a beautiful quiet big park both in the backyard and also at the front of the house.
