Hello, My house was built in 1961(period 5), but an extension was built from a car port recently (unsure of exact year, but in period 8). I am not sure what year to use to create my flying star map. The original date period or the one from the extension? Or do you ever use one period for one part and another period for another part? Thank you in advance!

I am living in a south facing house. The house has two doors, the main door facing south and another door from the car park which is south-west. Just below the car park is the drainage which I feel is not auspicious. We have been having water related issues ver y frequently either leaks, water tank damages, pressure valve issues, drainage clogging etc. Also job wise not seeing growth, but having so much pressure too. I bought two fengshui mirrors through one of a friend's colleague who bought from China. Please advise where should I place these mirrors. I was thinking to keep one mirror inside the house after we enter from the car garage that has a drainage below and insi…

Hi, We moved into our condo about a year ago and our neighbour has always had these Feng Shui items at their front door. They have lived in their unit for over a decade. I've not thought much about the placements but visitors keep pointing them out and our relationship with the neighbor has just been cordial that I cannot help feeling bothered by them now. Our front door and our back door are actually both directly facing our neighbours front and back doors respectively. They use their back door most the time while we have ours permanently closed. They rarely use their front doors but have placed: 1) a regular large (bigger than A4 …

Dear Nat, 1. Usually, the most effective method (especially) if there are no windows at this sector is the use of a full length mirror at this sector. 2. Only if the above resources are exhausted, should you then consider painting e.g. using a more yang colour. Between red or purple, I would choose purple as red can be too `bright' for the home. But if given the choice between pink or purple, I would instead choose pink colour. 3. You should check what is the significance of the missing corner. For example using the reference under this link: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/building.htm 4. If the missing corner (defined as greater than 33.3 percent of that sector) has a major …

Hi Master Cecil Lee, I am keen in the project R&F, after you mention that the particular facing I am looking at is okay for buying. However, taking a closer look at the floor plan, as this layout is squarish, however with some slight protrusion here and there. Hence , if I complete the missing edges, I find that by marking a cross at the ends, the centre lies near or at the toilet of one of the bedroom. Is this considered bad , and I should abort buying? Or have I marked wrongly, as it is quite close, it may fall in the bedroom, or at the bedroom toilet. What is your determination of the centre of the house? …

As mentioned earlier; Three coins can either be symbolically hung or even placed "into the floor". This has more to do with symbolism. As three coins represents metal destroy wood to? create wealth. Thus, if one steps on the three coins; one is symbolically stepping on wealth. Three coins are meant or symbolic of "enhancement" vs 6 coins or 7 coins used traditionally as a cure. The difference between them and modern commercial products are:- 1.1. One characteristic of a modern commercial product is usually a geomancer or a seller would or might say: You have to buy this. Where? Buy from me or can only work if bought from me. And often, these are highly marked up and costs…

Dear Master Cecil, We have just opened a restaurant with the facing direction North that is good for us. Our food has very good review and feedback. However many people find it difficult to find our restaurant even when they walked passed right in-front of the restaurant. We don't think it is the design of the entrance since it is full glass and with food menu on the glass panels. Someone mentioned it could be caused by the Green colored L-wall facing the entrance on the NE corner next to the entrance. If Green is the problem here we wonder if it will better if we painted it White or Beige. Thank you Master in advance for your advise. brgds Lee

Hello, again Several sources have recommended using metal as a "cure" for having the Five-Yellow at my front door, this year (2018). I have ordered a wind chime to place there, but I'm wondering if the steel security door/screen that is already on the door provides the same protection. Thank you!

Dear Anon, To help you understand better, I have drawn a sketch of two layouts which are considered good staircase layout plans. There are more, but these two are, in my opinion, the most common ones:) Two sample layouts: Layout A and B of auspicious location of a staircase. The advantage of staircase: Layout A is that if one can imagine, a storeroom can be built below the stairs. Secondly, there is a private corridor to go upstairs.

It is logical to keep the water bottle closed when not in use. If the bottle is not exposed to heat and is securely closed, it can be stored for an extended period of time. Indications that the water needs to be replaced include bubbles in the water or the bottle shrinking. Therefore, it is similar to a "set it and forget it for a few months" type of situation.

There is an adjacent building (few feet) in front of my apartment. 20deg North Main door, 3door Windows of living room, 2 door windows of bathroom is located. Stairways from main gate to terrace goes in front of the main door and windows on North. People in our building usually walk through it daily. Majority of light and wind enters through the main door. The 50% light comes through the gap between stairways goes up and next 50% comes from balcony on East. Main door, windows all covered by next adjacent building and prevented a street view from my apartment. 110…
