Dear Anon, Please see below:- In my opinion, it would be more appropriate for your office to be located at South-West (living room). Looks like North-West is the dining room so may not be appropriate or not as advisable. West is a possibility (2nd choice to SW). But in terms of these three alternatives, SW is still the best. Please e-mail privately to robert-lee@geomancy.net with your member's login account e.g. abc@def.com (password not necessary) so that we can credit you with a complimentary auspicious date report). Warmest Regards, Cecil Lee

Dear Rose, Please see below:- -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Wednesday, April 28, 1999 5:44 PM Subject: FIVE YELLOWS vs Properity in 8-House An accurate Flying Star chart should ideally take into account a few key things: 1. The birth chart of the house. 2. Your personal kua number. 3. The exact direction of the main entrance (in 15-degree increments). So, in my view, if something is so general that it can be applied to everyone without considering a personalized Flying Star chart—at the very least the house’s birth chart and its precise facing direction—then I wou…

  4. Dear Anamika, For application of colours, it is advisable: 1. If one is not sure what colours to use, then neutral colours can be used. For example white or pastel shades (light shades) should be used for both interior and exterior walls. 2. It does not matter if the exterior wall is facing east and therefore, we assume that the inner wall is facing west. We should instead consider that sector as being in the `east'. Here, we should look at both this external wall and interior wall as located in the east than to say that one side face east while the other faces west. 3. If one uses, Feng Shui, the colour of the room walls should preferably be painted to suit the element …

Can you help me evaluate the following house fengshui? - House is a corner lot around the bend (as indicated on Google maps, refer IMG_6656). - Road wrapping the right side of the house is two way traffic; incoming traffic is on the side of the road that is further away from the house, and the outgoing traffic on the side closer to the house. The road leading away from the house normally has cars parked on the side (refer picture IMG_6664), it’s a relatively long road which then joins another road perpendicular to it with houses along that road. - Adjacent to the back of the house is a neighbour on higher land. === As road names were clearly show…

Dear Andy, I see that you’re new to the forum, and I’d like to extend a warm welcome to you! Based on some of the most basic Feng Shui ideas, you can arrange your desk using three main Feng Shui concepts: A. Shapes and Form School: 1. Try to place one side of your desk against a pillar or wall to give you a sense of support. 2. It’s best if there isn’t a walkway directly behind your desk. Ideally, you should have a solid wall behind you for stronger support. 3. Avoid sitting directly under a column or beam. 4. Try to avoid “poison arrows,” such as sharp corners or edges pointing directly at you. 5. Your desk should not be easily visible from the d…

  7. Hi everyone, A beginner interested in Fengshui here, looking to seek some guidance on determining a unit's direction facing using a BTO site plan layout. I understand that there is the North needle at the bottom of the layout, but how do I actually determine the direction? Things like sitting and facing? I am keen in checking the direction of stack 629. Would greatly appreciate your guidance! 🙏

Dear Anon, For a strong metal person, the most favourable element is: Water (blue, black or gray). The next two favourable elements are Wood (green or brown) and Fire (red, pink or purple). For a strong wood person, the most favourable element is Fire (red, pink or purple) as fire element will help to exhaust wood. As fire element is increased, earth (yellow, cream or beige) can be used. Next best favourable element is metal, as metal inturn will help to exhaust earth. Actually, you can use the free comparison report at www.geomancy-online.com to determine these. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  12. Dear Albert, I have considered the site relative to the Brighthill crematorium and columbarium i.e. I have explored the area and in my opinion, they are not exactly in direct path nor very close-by to this development. Overall, the general alignment of this plot of land i.e. the site (in general) is aligned in a North-South direction. This is a plus factor. Having taken this into consideration and the overall surrounding, it has its merits. Warmest Regards, Cecil

While Wood which exhaust your excess Water and Earth which destroy your Wood help to control you excess Water which makes you Strong. These element becomes your favourable element. 16. Dear Anon, 1. In my view, in Western countries it’s more common for Feng Shui practitioners to advise their clients to hang a Ba Gua mirror to counteract Sha Qi. 2. In the East—particularly in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and other parts of the Far East—Feng Shui practitioners usually make slightly different recommendations: 2.1. Many Feng Shui practitioners with a religious background, such as Taoism or Buddhism, often encourage their clients to hang a Ba Gua mirror on the main door, or even on several doors, for “protection.” In these cases, clients are sometimes asked to place specific “charms” above their doors. These charms are usually written on yell…

Dear Cecil, With regards to the Center sector of my business, the 20 year vs. yearly star analysis suggests to "use metal to exhaust earth" and the mountain vs. water star analysis recommends to "use WATER to exhaust metal". 1) I know what the metal cure is, but what is the solution for a water cure? 2) Do the above solutions cancel each other out to make the sector neutral? Thank you so much, Hoa

Dear Anon, Please see below:- This is the same concept as a full height screen. Some practioners would advise the use of a wind chime in between the two doors. However, one should get proper consultations before placing a wind chime. (Especially if one is placing at the NE, NW and West) locations of the house. A hanging mobile or crystal is not advised. This is because in my opinion, I personally see no rationale for the use of a crystal or a hanging mobile. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  24. Dear Carlos, Wow! Double #5's are bad enough (Misfortune/sickness x 2). But with the addition of #9 (strong fire), this is a "potent" inauspicious combination. Since strong fire further fuels strong earth #5 x2. If you can, usually, a set of wind chime could be used outside the bedroom e.g. window area to dissipate this three combined inauspicious combination. In addition, it is best to use metal cure inside this room to further negate the bad sector. Try to avoid: Check the room for presence of Earth element i.e. earth tones e.g. cream, beige or yellow. And further avoid any Fire (red, pink or purple) colour in the room. The most common is to check that the walls are not…

  25. Dear Cheng Teik, Even if heavy knocking was done prior to Feb 2004, do check the following: 1. roof - is the roofing done on or after this period. 2. main door? does the main door remain or will it be changed after Feb 2004. 3. Is the main door or other fittings e.g. no window frame or window fitted especially at the frontage or the main door has not been fitted yet. 4. Has the kitchen being fully renovated and stove placed in? If any of the above remain uncompleted, then, it is safe to say that one's home will going to be a Period 8 home. Even if a home is a Period 7 home, it can still `fly' to Period 8 (but not the other way around). Doing some of the acti…
