Anonymous wrote: is it bad fengshui to have false ceiling if there are no beams to hide?esp atdining & foyer area? 1. It has more to do with "Commonsense - approach to Feng Shui". 2. For example, many false ceilings are made of gypsum board and these are light weight materials. But, even if the owners don't have bad feelings about it, but, your guests such as friends and relatives may sometimes give comments saying that they read somewhere that this is not good! 3. And if we get too many negative comments, we ourselves may begin to feel not very comfortable with the false ceiling. 4. In Feng Shui, there is no major concern, here as you had mentioned, there is no …

Mr. Lee, thank you so much for this simple (to you), invaluable (to me!) painting advice. iv>I am a huge fan of your approach to Feng Shui and take to heart your maxim to "first, stop the leak." v>We live in a South 1 facing period 7 home, and after February of 2004 things began to go, with a few exceptions, less well. We live in the Rocky Mountain west region of the United States, where finding a consultation was difficult, but we did find one Eastern-trained practioner/geomancer, and his advice to us was welcome, if a bit renovation- heavy. I am so grateful to you for advice, as the details of this house sprucing-up have been left to us. Stacy

The main idea is to have good ventilation. So long as the plant does not inadvertently block the qi, this is fine or Ok. I would prefer say a fan vs this plant thing. (Not sure what is the weather like, thou) Anonymous wrote: Thank you so much for the logic, detail explanation, we will move the bed to the side of the window per your suggestion. Wewill also invest the carbon monoxide issue. Besides, if we put a plant outside of the bedroom, will it help? Thanks

Dear Cheui May, Please see below:- It is difficult to solve a `poison' arrow aimed at the bed. Usually, if the `corner' is aimed at the feet, this is still ok. As for the use of wind chime, it is quite difficult to hang it. Even if you hang it, you may have to hang it at the level `between' you and the `corner'. Since your bedroom is quite big, the option is if you have any simple `partition' that can be placed standing like those `standees' would be acceptable. Otherwise, frankly, at the moment think of any thing that can neutralise the corner without looking odd or sound `practical' or feasible. Warmest Regards, Cecil Yes, this layout is not good. The only thin…

Dear Alan, Yes, based on your attachment, the layout is the most favourable (nw-bedplacement-1.gif) based on Shapes and Form Feng Shui. An alternative file: nw-bedplacement-2.gif shows the next best alternative (less the placement of the dressing table - as it is a poison arrow aimed partially at the bed. The dressing table should be placed further away or tilted away (if it does not have a dressing mirror on it). Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Jason, 1. It depends on what you are investigating. 2. Often, a building is investigated especially if the company or business owns the entire building. And, here, the company wants to check it's external Feng Shui especially to see if a water feature or a water / cum mountain feature can be activated e.g. outside the building e.g. frontage, or back. 3. For example, if the building is facing a double #8 under Period 8, which is coming soon. The owner of the building may want to have a cuscading water fall flowing e.g. from left to right of the building to activate #8 mountain with #8 water position at this spot. 4. But, what about the interior of your office? 5. Here…

Hello Anonymous, If I may contribute something to this discussion... I was reminded of something I saw the other day. It was a large, thriving liquor business with a rather strange shape. The building was mainly triangular, with a very long, sharp-looking corner aiming across the street. I looked across the street and sure enough, the building directly in the path of this pointing triangle was boarded up and vacant. If that isn't a poison arrow, I don't know what is! Hope this discussion clarifies matters for you. Good luck! :o) --Joe

Dear Randy, I just came across this message under the conference: Like to share your Experiences (in this forum): ---- cut and pasted message--- Dear forum members, I would like to share my feng shui nightmare with you. Since I want to warn other members not to install water features with out first doing a pillar of destiny chart and flying star chart. Last year I installed a water fountain outside my house and installed a fish tank inside and lots of other cures on the advise of the BTB feng shui consultant. And need less to say it was disastrous. I lost my job got involved in a accident and developed severe health problems and financial problems. So instead of removing …

Dear Master Lee, Thank you so much for your detail explanation. Robert Lee wrote: You see in our website when we define a house facing East means that main door (for 2nd-7th level) orliving room (8th and up) is actually facing East. I have yet to find out from your website with regards to main door (2nd-7th level) or Living Room (8th and up). i will go thru in details later, just to confirm if the flat i am buying is at 8th level and up, i should be looking at the living room facing but not the main door facing? Hope to hear from you soon and have a nice day.

1. The lucky wealth star #8 falls in the facing direction of the NW. Thus homes that have FACING direction of NW should benefit from it. It is particuarly auspicious for those in the "earth" and "metal" industries. 1.1 Reference to the element and occupation; please refer to : http://talk.geomancy.net 2. However, do avoid renovations at this sector; else will affect the wealth luck. 3. In addition, at work or when investing; avoid making hurried decisions. For those with young children: avoid playing with roller skates (as may be prone to injuries to the arms and legs - bones) Note: for 2011: the worst facing directions are : East (where five yellow & Tai Sui - meet…

Dear Alvin, Alvin Low wrote: Hello. You mentioned hanging the six coins. Is it OK to just place the six coins on the table in a bag/container in the appropriate location? Actually, the coins should either be arranged in a straight row tied wth red string or placed on like red packet paper. Red is Fire, 6 Coins is Metal and the square in the coin is Earth. So when you placed it either in straight row or grouped together, the five element will be perfect harmony where the Fire- Hope that helps. Dear Anon, In my opinon, the best units are at #20 or #23. Units that are facing the highway such as #22, #30 etc... can be quite noisy and parts of their balcony/bedrooms is affected by the afternoon sun especially for higher floors. The unit that you are considering is OK especially for high floors since there is a very auspicious double 8 at the balcony area(facing direction). And in fact, what better scope is that there is aswimming pooljust outside of it. Furthermore, because the unit is South-Northdirection, most of the unit(s)will not be affected by the afternoon sun. Only the very high floo…

Dear Master Cecil, Thanks for your quick response. I am planning to use the convex mirror. Before I put it up,I still need your advice on the following: 1) Does the convex mirror work for the staight path in front of door as well? Please refer back to the picture of sha qi of neighbor's roof, poison arrow. If not, what cure do I use? 2) I have two windows that are on the same side with the front door where the poison arrow also pointed at them.Beside putting a convex on the front door, do I also need to put a convex mirror on each of the window? Further more, have you a chance to review my question on the back of my house? Please refer to the picture of seeing …

These are some considerations: 1. Several factors should be considered regarding home design and plumbing. Primarily, it relates to common sense, which Feng Shui principles often reflect. 2. It is not uncommon for homes to have a toilet situated directly above a kitchen. 3. However, a significant concern arises when sewerage pipes are positioned directly above cooking areas or places where food and drinking water are prepared or stored. 4. The rationale is clear: if a sewerage pipe were to leak, gravity would facilitate the flow of contaminants. 5. In some cases, homeowners have no alternative but to have sewerage pipes located above their sto…
