Hi. I just got married, and i buy a land with side by side with my parent. But there some problem after i read about fengsui. this land (146m2). 1. Acording to pic, is this Irregular Land? 2. some people in here said i should build house facing to south, because if i chose facing to west, it bad location because the left side is road. So i choose to build with house facing to south. The problem is,is i build square 10x10m, what sould i do with the rest land? Build garden or i build another shop house to make my land square? 3. Dear Master Lee, I am looking to purchase a landed property. The house faces west and the back fence is higher than the front. My concerns is with a Government sewer line that runs down one side of the land, (from the back to the front). This Is a sewer line that connects to surrounding properties. It does not go under the house. Please could you advise on the negative effects of this sewer line. I humbly thank you for your help.

As part of my research, I chanced upon your review of the "less bad" units in Terrace 2, was wondering if there was something similar for Waterway Terrace 1? This are some considerations: 1. Common sense Feng Shui 1.1. The stove should not be too close to a sidewall especially if later, one needs to place a large wok onto the stove. Here, if the wall is too close; the wok simply can't be placed onto the stove. In addition, if the stove is too close to the wall, flames will get to it. 1.2. Hello we are trying to arrange our living/ dining room and buy a new sofa. Unfortunately we have a rectangle shaped room with a lot of windows! The only workable place to put the sofa (that would put it against a wall- also a good idea as we have a climbing toddler who likes to climb the sofa) puts the side of the sofa in direct line of the front door- although there is/ will be a cabinet for shoes or a buffet against the wall closer to the front door and there is a distance of around 4m-5m from the front door to the sofa. Dear Master, I read of the importance of having square or rectangular bedrooms to provide stability and good "Qi" movements. As I am planning to do some renovation works, I am exploring the option to build a partition and 'create' a more separate rectangular bedroom for my sleeping area. This is because in the Chinese Culture, we have different types of dialects, (eg. hokkien, cantonese, teo chew, har kar etc), These dialects pronounce the words slightly differently creating the variations. For example, lets take a surname Chen in Chinese. In Hokkien it is refered to as Tan. Etc. Both are correct, just that they are pronounced differently.
