May i ask whether do we use our normal birth date to calculate our 'Ba Zhi' or do we use our lunar or chinese birth date. 4. Dear Carla, Carla Rothacker wrote: Here in America, we often have mobile home parks where the homes are set up on a semi-permanent basis. Some are in the form of a single long home of 14 by 70 feet or 16 by 64 feet, while some are made in 2 pieces and assembled on site as what we call a "doublewide" mobile home. Wheels are removed, and the homes in both cases are supported by construction blocks at key points beneath them, sitting upon concrete. Carla Rothacker wrote: Yes, they *can* be moved, but generally are not. It takes a special moving company to do so, and is expensive. Dear Anon, In general, if an HDB precint has majority either North or South facing apartments, then if particuarly the male breadwinner is a West group person, may consider looking at especially if it is a Flying Star Period 8 South 2 and 3 apartments where there is particularly a double #8's at it's facing direction. If the apartment is a Period 8, South 1, then check that if possible the living room is at say North or the back of the apartment. A west group person can still benefit greatly from a South "facing" apartment. Frankly, usually changing the facing direction of a door has more to do with "PACIFYING" one's concern than effectively changing the qi. There …

Dear Suzhen, As the information on your son is limited, perhaps, you can do an initial Eight House Template for your son. Follow the steps under this URL: http://www.geomancy.net/fs/house1.htm Alternatively, go to www.geomancy-online.com to create his Free computerized Eight House Chart. What you can do here is to see if the room he sleeps in is compatible to him. Dear Christine, Appreciate if you can give us a better idea the reason why you are worried about your kitchen in the North East. More importantly, priority should be given to the Kitchen based on the Shapes and Form School of Feng Shui. For example, the stove should have a solid back and not against a window. Since the stove is on the north wall, it can still be located at the north wall. However, the only caution here is that since it is at the north wall, you should not place a water position facing the stove. The sink can be at the west wall. Again it should not too close to any fire element and keep a distance for it. Other than the above, I believe there is no issue …

Thank you sir. Yes the trees have branches and they block the view ?of windows. ?What would you suggest. Should we cut down the trees. ?Also I want to ask you another question. ?Does all the brass door fittings contribute to the metal energy of the house. ?I was thinking since there are ?so many doors and windows and all have golden brass fittings. Doesnt this makes the metal energy of the house too strong. Since the color is also golden . Ceilings are white in color. Flooring is of white marble. Though marble would be earth energy but it is white so metal as well. Can you please tell whether the energy in my house is too ?much metal. Thanks for helping us sir.

These are some considerations: 1. The Three-Step-Approach 2. Although the lowest common denominator is the Five Elements concept; 3. No offence, your earlier question(s) are like asking about the climate in China and then suddenly, you are asking about where to fish in the Alaska. 4. If you really want to understand a concept or model; then be prepared to understand it under Para 1 above: the 3 step approach. 5. Flying Star Feng Shui, already is based on timely stars. And it has already a BUILT in mechanism to take care of the elements and it's strength. 6. For example, most geomancers would plot a 20 YEAR Flying Star chart. 7. You got to ask yourself why is there such a…

  13. Dear Hoa, In my opinion, what you had described; on it's own may not be considered as a change of the house period. Imagine this: it is akin to a person, changing his/her skin and yet the mouth e.g. (main entrance doors) remains untouched. Warmest Regards, Cecil Quote: Hoa Luong wrote: Not just the glass, but all the frames were replaced also. Basically, I got all new windows including frames and glass (all 14 of them). Dear Anon, Every home (landed property) and apartments (condos / apartment / flat) have their distinctive Feng Shui. So in terms of Feng Shui for a condo: The Centris; if we consider an individual unit vs other units, then there are always some units that may have superior Feng Shui vs other units. Thus, a recent post asking how is the Raintree condo, again, usually in each plot of land there are invariably good or not so favourable units. As mentioned previously, all homes may or may not be affected by the "hot" afternoon sun; Your question relates more to the "marketability" and whether your unit can become an asset or end up as a loss. Thus in terms of good m…

Dear Elena, When I have the time, will try to take some pictures. Generally, a good reference is a standing grandfather clock especially those with brass `tick-tock' metal pendulums will do nicely. Alternatively there are some hanging pendulum clocks. Here, try to get those with a `metal' weight pendulum. Warmest Regards, Cecil

  17. Bear in my that when we approach such questions Often many of the situations, it may or might be based on "commonsense". For example, a reason why the stove should not be facing say a kitchen door entrance is e.g. when one is cooking, one's back is against the kitchen entrance, since all of us dn't have eyes behind our head, it was felt that one may be caaught unawares, in this instance. The other reason is under "symbolism". Here, it is best to avoid having a stove face a bedroom door. If the stove faces a kitchen door but does not face a bedroom door, this is considered the lesser of the two evils as compared to a stove below a beam, unless this beam is "covered" …

  18. Dear Hoa Luong, 1. As a follow-up, this morning, I visited some local shops and purchased no less than 8 Ba Gua mirrors. 2. I got 3 from one shop and another 5 more from another shop. I think, the second shop keeper must have thought that I was "MAD" since no one had purchased or tried purchasing that many Ba Guas on a single occasion in their life! (Including mine) 3. Just for info, when I displayed so many Ba Gua mirrors to take photos at... my camera smart media "got error". For quite sometime. And for fear of being too Yang.. I covered them up immediately. Do not want to create so many negative Qi. Imagine 8 X Ba Gua mirrors is a rather " FIERCE " thing to do. 4. Out …

These areuseful considerations:- 1. A home even with Quantum Leap in Feng Shui; don't need to be so specific in it's measurements. 2. An average home, even if it's measurements are "perfect" in every "Ruler" way ain't going to help. 2.1. This is similar to a boy racer trying to add modifications to his boy-racing honda civic car! 2.2. If one wants to have the best racing car .. go buy a super-car, please. 3. Don't want to be seen.. participating in and get implied that I am with this everything "Ruler" thing...

Dear SL, 1. In my opinion, for those who would like to really find out what is real Feng Shui can get their `clue' from "academic" Feng Shui books especially from Dr. Evelyn Lip. 2. Some of Dr. Evelyn Lip's book include: " Feng Shui for the Home " and " Chinese Geomancy. " One can easily search for the author especially under : amazon.com or other online bookstores. 3. It is sad that today.. many may not want to `touch' her books because it refers more towards: history, origin and various concepts in Feng Shui. However, many people (I believe) feel that it may not have strong advise or an A to Z application of what they perceive as Feng Shui. Unlike another famous author …

These are some considerations: 1. It depends! 1.1. In a neighbourhood school and within a non-streaming class; if we were to grade the students in a class, it would form a "Bell curve". 1.2. Thus, even within various condos whether they are in the NE or other parts of SGP; in many instances, also, each stack and even in some instances, different storeys would also often take the profile of a "Bell curve". 2. Frankly, there are two approaches: 2.1. In the past and current; common sense says that bring along all family members to view the place. Thus, if one does not want to get a specific Feng Shui service like Can or cannot buy; then continue to view based on personal fee…

  25. This link shows three recent useful links:- http://wiki.geomancy.net/wiki/Can_or_Cannot_Buy Be it a HDB, a BTO/DBSS or a condo you should be able to understand more from the above resources. This link (from one of the 3 links, above) shows the final result when all the major key principles are applied:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=6&mid=29335&new= Further consideration: 1. There are no such thing as a perfect home (unless one tries to built on one's own). 2. "Strike while the iron's hot." For condos, best to try to buy newly launched ones.. Left over units are often.. or rarely that good - rarely finda polished gem from them. 3. …
