  3. Please note that I mentioned that it is nice-to and not a must-have to sleep with the head facing a good direction. Another consideration is which sector is the bedroom, in. If would be even better if the sector the bedroom in is in your favourable sector. In reality, it is not like you have another bedroom to sleep in, right?

Dear Anon, 1. It depends on the shape/profile of the arched window. Usually if it is a semi-circular arch, above the door, window, this is still considered an auspicious shape. 2. One way at looking at it is that the semi-circular shape, pointint towards the sky does not have any impact as it cannot be considered a poision arrow pointing towards a position or room. 3. But becareful if you are using a triangular arched shape as this will introduce Sha Qi or poison arrow; tangent to the arch. For example, such a shape may be pointed towards e.g. the dinning table or living room. In the bedroom, this is worse as it will cause marital problems or lead to divorce or separation…

Thank you, Master Lee, for your reply. I will let you know how it goes. Am getting ready to place new staircase, and needed to know info. I have not used the Luo Pan before, just an ordinary compass (am a skilled forester so can use a compass easily) I was confused because the book had a person standing inside the house facing out the main door holding the compass, then a few page later showed the person standing in front of the house, facing the front door, holding the compass toward the front door! So you can see my confusion. I use your website very much, and also really enjoyed the auspicious day reading. I would like to eventually take classes from your site and gai…

Generally, any fierce animal tends to have very strong yang or sha Qi. Then my advise is to keep it. Dear Kam Wah, Since the two dragons face each other, you have to take `them' as decorative art work. It is really no harm displaying them as a centre piece. It will not affect or impact your home as: 1. It is a four claw dragon and not five claws. 2. They are not `lone' dragons which usually is used to face the main entrance door i.e. each dragon face `both' sides of the main door. As mentioned in a previous mail, dragons should face the main door or face out of the house e.g. thru a window pointed towards a sha qi. As a dragon breathes fire, it is good to destroy a metal sha qi e.g. a flag pole or a lamp post as Fire destroys metal under the Five elements concept. Warmes…

  9. In general, a crane symbolises longevity. And also the phoenix. During weddings, one can often find the wedding card with the dragon (male) and phoenix (female) diagram in an embrance. In addition; in selecting a career; one also has to look into the above cues... 3. For example, in the past, I had mentioned that we have to find out the child's inclination; 4. Here, we should look into the child's traits: some children are more spatial. Some people are more into the arts and humanities while others are more mathematical. 5. Dear Anon, Apologies, as I do not give the idea of spending too much time replying to this question. But I forgot to mentioned an important point. If this is modern practise especially by Western practitioners who may not be too familiar with the Double Happiness symbol, it would be best, at least, if one display the symbol of a heart to (instead display DOUBLE Hearts) i.e. One heart can be placed overlap (half-way) over the other heart. Like the equivalent of the Double Happiness symbol, at least `LOVE' should come in a pair. I wonder, if some unfortunate souls, could have just placed a single heart and symbolically .. imply.. a lonely heart. Warmest Regards, Cecil

    1. It depends:- 1.1. If the car garage is at the Basement or below street level: where it was dug into the ground; then not counted:- Basement (if your garage is at this level) Street Level = #01-xx 2nd storey(If your garage is at street level) = #02-xx 1.2. If the car garage is at Street Level, then the car garage (area) = #01-xx; while your unit, say on the 2nd storey = #02-xx. Please see attachment. Note: Not many apartments are greater than #99 storey's high. And the Flying Star House (Apartment) Report: does not look at apartments below ground level.

    1. In my opinon, what you mentioned is based on this category of Feng Shui: "Symbolism in Feng Shui'. 2. What is considered inauspicious especially when opening the main entrance door; one can see the staircase.(The main implication is that of the staircase leading DOWNWARDS). 3. Here, it implies that wealth is drained away from the main doorand due to gravity, dain downwards towards the staircase and down, down, down. 4. For this very reason, is wheremany seem to believe that it is inauspicious. 5. Of couse, one can argue that a staircase is meant for going up and down. But, the fact that it "flows" down is the mother of all greviances. 6. There is no hard or fast rule. …

Hi Cecil Shifu, Thank you so much for your reply. Your advice has given me some peace of mind. Knowing the pro & con of the partition, I now know what precaution to take if I proceed with it. Our children will have their own room and thus, I can place our own bed slightly further away from the stagnant area and hope to get better air ventilation. Good to have pointed out the bed head in bedroom 2 to me. We will shift it further from the point where we will place our TV in master bedroom.

Please see below:- A 5 rod windchime is equal to the technique of hanging a ceiling lamp with 5 bulbs each to represent each of the element. This type of "cure" is to `bring' all the 5 elements together at one location. It is best to clarify with her as there are many Feng Shui theories plus a mix of Chinese Astrology and even divinity methods.

You wrote: "I have the same question, their is little difference, my bed is kept in vertical position.. If anybody can help it would be very helpful." In my opinion, it is not a concern. It may be a concern if we have seen e.g. Mr Bean "sick" on the bed and the bed happens to collapse upon the sleeper. Then again, I believe, this is quite impossible in the real world or if so, one could easily get out of this predicament.

Dear Ber, Originally, from what I understand that you mentioned that your animal sign is a `Dog'. On the basis of the animal sign `Dog', under Chinese astrology, it's element is Earth. The Chinese astrology dog is based on the Year of birth. Thanks for clarification that you used the online report and it analysed you as a Weak Fire. This makes a " world of difference ' as the online report takes into account all eight pillars. I therefore have to reply on what was given to me. The earlier assumption is based on you as an Earth element person. As you now mentioned that you are a Weak Fire person, yes, the colour green would be suitable for you as it helps weak fire grow. …

Dear Anon, It is very difficult for me to comment as I really need to see a drawing of it. As an indent can be a large area or narrow etc... This is only to determine whether there is indeed an indent. As for cures, these are limited. For indents there are frankly no `miracle' cures for such `flaws'. Cures differ also if it is a landed property or a flat. For example if it is a landed property, one can do some landscaping to create a profile of the missing corner. Or place a light to brighten up the place. For a flat or apartment, cures are limited to e.g. placing mirrors to `extend' the missing corner. If you can, try to give me a sketch the layout and upload to the for…

  25. Dear Jeffrey, If I am not wrong all the variations you may have heard should be correct. This is because in the Chinese Culture, we have different types of dialects, (eg. hokkien, cantonese, teo chew, har kar etc), These dialects pronounce the words slightly differently creating the variations. For example, lets take a surname Chen in Chinese. In Hokkien it is refered to as Tan. Etc. Both are correct, just that they are pronounced differently. If you want to be sure you can use the simplified Chinese pronouncation used in han yu ping yin, eg Feng1 Shui3 (not any dialect form of it.).
