These are some considerations: 1. Clue: it is based on specific priorities and other factors. 2. In my opinon, some Feng Shui books are frankly... either ignorant or too general. Or some even don't get things right. Have even encountered: many blindly following each other. 3. We don't intend to highlight many of the key factors. If so, from past experience many others would try to emulate and copy our logic and methods. In fact, there were lots of instances where, some users report to us that our results differ from some sites; and later they return to that site to discover that these sites utimately changed their results to match us. For example, after we published this…

Dear Cilla, Not having luck with you isn't really that bad. Except that it means that you will have to work extra harder in order to achieve any success as compared to another person with luck with him during the same period. However, ultimately, you still have to ensure that you have a good business model. As no amount of luck can help you if you do not have a good business model. Hope that helps. Dear Reyla, reyla faubion wrote: Just wanted to know on the bazi analysis software, when you plug in your birthday is it your birthday US time, Singapore time or other? I'm confused bec. I could be born on the 12th in US time but it might be th 13th Singapore time. In general, adjusting GMT time zone isn't the right or proper way to adjust location factor. In fact, the only true way is to apply the long. and lat. of birth. However, even this if you add just 1 degree off, your chart can be even less accurate than if you do not consider this at all. Furthermore, who actually records the exact long. and lat. of birth when you are born. Even if you are born within a hospita…

These are some of the considerations:- 1. Both use the lowest common denominator: Yin and Yang with The Five Elements concept. 2. Ba zi and Zi Wei Dou Shu can be as general or can be as detailed: thus sometimes; even no two ba zi analysis could beconsidered as equal. 2.1. For example, ba zi can be as detailed as possible: with as many variables in it: Year , Month, Day, Hour and for the living two more pillars : House of Life and House of Conception. (Each variable has two other variables: Heavenly stem and Earthly branches). 3. In my opinion, one should instead, firstly note what is the difference between A's analysis of Zi Wei Dou Shu vs B's, C's or D's! And what is the…

mmm... iv>not sure if you've misunderstood my concern. while you're right that the harmonising of the person is best done via the name at birth, those are in the past and cannot be readily changed. but, that in itself was not my concern.mine was more to do with the use of elemental therapies/cures; esp. for ppl like me with inbalance bazi. iv>my understanding is that my strong fire will likely result in me being more susceptable to illness in organs related to fire, like the heart etc.thus, it seems logical to think that any "cure" would include elements that either boost water or reduce fire effects. therefore, for therapies that uses infrared, which is a form of …

Dear Lily, Quote: May I ask if the breadwinner of the house is Strong Wood and water is his unfavourable element, can he still have a fish tank in his house if his house has a W8 in the right position. A little of everything even the unfavourable element is acceptable but too much will not be favourable for a Strong Wood person anymore. In this case, the flying star W8 is the water wealth sector. This will superceed the requirement of the ba zi. As what you are activating is the water wealth. So having a water feature there will be ok as long as it is in the right position where the water wealth is located. So even if the person is a Strong Wood, he can still …

Dear Anon, It is acceptable to use a beaded curtain in replacement to a screen. Both serves the same purpose. 1. So far, I have seen very few houses where a particular sector needs to be `kept quiet' under the Flying Star chart. In such a senario, a beaded curtain is not advisable. However, the chance of `meeting' such a situation is not common or the probability of encountering it is lesser. 2. Avoid using metallic beads at the following compass directions: NE (devil's gate), West (Metal) & NW (Metal). Unless analysed by a competent FS practioner. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Lingling, Please see below:- There is not much you can do to avoid a sharp corner. It is best if one avoids having a sharp corner in the first place (if one can). If it is a wooden beam, one can use 6 metal coins tied with red string and place it above the beam. Here, 6 coins representing big metal can be used to destroy wood. If it is a concrete beam, hang two bamboo flutes as follows:- ------ / \ / \ There is also another Find out what is the intangible influence for each person. If the intangible influence is inauspcious for a person, let the person sleep further away from the intangible influence. For example, if the father has the Prosperity…

Dear Dylan, 1. As the cooking stove is considered an important part of the house i.e. providing fire and food, some Shapes and Form School believe that it is important not to have a beam above it. This is similar to having a beam above a person sitting e.g. at a seat. 2. Where possible, try to avoid it. Else, there is nothing much one can do here unless the ceiling is even (false ceiling). 2.1 But, a false ceiling is not recommended in a kitchen as it may catch fire. 2.2 If the ceiling beam is made of concrete, it is equally not practical to use two flutes as they are made of wood and may also catch fire. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Yang Ming, 1. The most common cure for concrete beams is the use of a pair of bamboo flutes. You can view a picture illustration under the reference link below:- http://www.geomancy.net/mypictures/cgi-bin/mypictures.cgi?img=0&search=flute&cat=all&bool=phrase&x=7&y=12 (Simply click on the thumb-nail view for a larger view). 2. If one places a pair of flute on a beam, it can be placed on either side or one of the other side of the beam i.e. one pair of bamboo flute will do. This is onl for info: The only other option is the use of `false partition'. Warmest Regards, Cecil

My living room and dining room have beams going across the ceilings. The ceiling is quite low. My house faces the SE, and has a large river flowing from the East to the West. I have large picture windows opening up to view the river and the hills on the other side. I live on a hillside. The back of the house faces the hillside and is North/North West. There is a long cutout in the front of the house allowing the front door to open in the center of the house the door faces East. My mother lived here for 30 years (house built in 1964), she never accumulated any wealth. I am afraid this will happen to me. (I have a home office here and have just become aware of Feng Shui.) W…

Dear Anon, Single stretch of load bearing wall which looks like beams is considered `sha qi'. However, do take note that:- 1. If one does not sit under it, there is relatively no issue. For beams, if one sits below it for more than 1 1/2 to 2 hours each day for a year, the `effects' (negative) can be felt. 2. Do take note that multiple beams that are close to each other e.g. 1 feet interval or less and lots of it that looks like stripes do not pose a problem. Only single beams should be considered. Warmest Regards, Cecil
