The shape of the house is xlong, (narrow width). It is built in 1966. I have not taken exact compass reading, but based on your diagram below it is somewhere between 22.5 to 37.4.

Hi Mr Cecil Lee I am an earth ram and my boyfriend (live in partner) is a water rat. I read that we are the "best to avoid partners" for our astrological signs. Is there any way to block the bad luck? We've been together for almost 2 years now and we are both inlove and sincere. I just got scared of the incompatibility of our signs. I thank you for this wonderful website that you have created. It is very useful for us. We recently bought a property and its facing south and the mountain view while across the street on our back part is the manmade lake. I just cancelled the transaction as soon as I read the Feng Shui courses you offered on this site. I wanted to seek consul…

1. In my opinion, what you wrote automatically linked me to the attached illustration. 2. Especially today in Singapore; with so many responsibilities, worries, congestion and putting up with huge population increase (and more are coming).... 3. I for one, would not want to become a "slave" especially to my TOILET! *Sucks*. 4. Well, don't get me wrong. 5. Under the Chinese Holy Trinity of Luck: 5.1. Heaven Luck = born with (ba zi) = 33.3 % 5.2. Earth Luck = Feng Shui of home and office = 33.3% 5.3. Human Luck = Here, feeling good belongs to this category. = 33.4% Total = 100 % 6. Human nature is as such.. If someone gives us a "solution" even if it is a …

Hello Fengshui Master, Our master bedroom needs help. Our bed is placed between two pillars on either sides of the bed and there is no way that I can move the bed anywhere in the room as : 1) One wall has huge windows facing the road. 2) Second wall has an inbuilt wardrode with sliding glass doors. 3) Third wall hasthe door entering into the bedroom. The fourth wall is the only one which has a solid wall and two pillars with space just enough for the bed to be placed. There is no space outside of the pillars. My bed is sandwiched between these two pillars for the last 3 and half years. I have restless & sleepless nights, bad dreams waking me up in the middle of the n…

These are some considerations: 1. Frankly, in Feng Shui; the realistic approach is applying Holistic Approach. 2. Here it is about Feng Shui Triage Proper trouble-shooting is required. 3. Logically, a house has many sectors. And frankly what makes it so sure that only your kitchen has problems. Sometimes one may be "barking up the wrong tree" if there are more than one problem or leaks.

Under this illustration, as mentioned earlier; the main entrance depends on how the architect connects all the stacks into one block.

In my opinion: 1. I personally feel that even in exactly the same career; it can differ in element. Why? 2. It has more to do with the individual who takes on with the job. 3. For example: I would interpret Singapore's First Prime Minister job function as more to do with Wood element. While Singapore's current or 3rd Prime Minister more of a water element. 4. Why? 5. The First Prime Minister is in my opinion, full of vision and although all Prime Ministers are orchestra conductors; the first PM is able to fully make use of his team: and make substantial growth of the country = Wood element. And on occassions, make tough decisions = Fire element. 6. The current 3rd Prime M…

These are some considerations: 1. HDB Units face the lift door. 1.1. In my opinion, again, this is one of those things that has more to do with common sense. Thus, some claim such things to be (common sense) Feng Shui. 1.2. Just imagine, if one's main entrance is opened and the interior is in full or partial view of people stepping out of a lift. 1.3. Depending on the density of units that this lift serves as well as human traffic density that uses this lift; most people would feel uncomfortable with many people looking into your home. 1.4. Worse still, many are strangers such as friends, relatives and sometimes those pesky sales person. 1.5. Some feel that because of so …

1. Attached is a rough sketch showing that most likely the home is nothing out of the ordinary. 2. Here, LEVEL 1 is often considered as the "ground floor" or level 1. 3. Just because your home has a basement dug in; this does not automatically mean that your Feng Shui "main reception area" or frontage is there. The basement is merely a convenient space to house your car(s) and allow easy entry and access to the cars via a so called door. 4. Thus LEVEL 1 is like most homes where supposely it is your main door entrance even if you enter via the "dug" out basement. 5. The sloping staircase, if you look at it is another block of landscaping that is perhaps higher than your …

These are some considerations: 1. What you mentioned is only a part of the Feng Shui theory. 2. Under Compass School of Feng Shui; one must consider both the Eight House (which you briefly) mentioned but left out the Flying Star Feng Shui. 3. Another major concept is: " The forms (Shapes and Forms) shapes the stars and the stars determine the fate". 4. Even anurse is trained to obtain as much information on behalf of the doctor before; the patient sees the doctor: Feng Shui Triage 5. For example, without understanding the Shapes and Forms of that home and to a certain extend the Flying Star and even Ba Zi of a person; "there is limited information" to deduce how bad or ho…

Further to what I had mentioned: 1. Applying Flying Star Feng Shui, today is like: 1.1. Buying a car that goes from A to B andhas standard air-bag for the front two passengers, ABS, DCS etc..And maybe euro ncap 4 stars rating... to maybe 5 stars rating... 2. But applying Annual Flying Stars Feng Shui (OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES ARE NOT COMPULSORY) depends on how thorough it is and is like: 2.1. Car comes standard with euro ncap 5 stars rating and also:- 2.2. Additional air-bags for the driver's knees; and side pillar air-bags 2.3. radar systemthat detects that there is aneminent collision.. and car auto apply brakes... 2.4. In addition, depending on how thorough one applies annu…

These are some considerations: 1. House number interpretation is altogether a different thing. Here, often: one man's meat is another man's poison. 1.1 Many Chinese are influenced e.g. by the Cantonese dialect group who distinctively hate " 4 " (die) and even 14 = sure to die 2. However, it has no relation to Feng Shui. But more towards personal feel good or bad factor and subsequently may affect resale value; should one put the home in the market. 3. Frankly, if one knows Shapes and Forms and Compass School Feng Shui; these two major schools can be used to analyse sucha foreclosed home and check whether there are any major fatal errors (if any). 4. At best, the common se…

These are some considerations: 1. Common sense 1.1. In real life, if we find something "a miss"; what do you do? Walk away from it. 1.2. The same thing, here. 2. This House number THING or Vertical flying star .... is meant for mostly flat ground and on an island like Singapore, mostly gradient land where the land compared to others although is undulating can still be valid. 3. It is again based on common sense or rather cow sense not for unsually high ground like e.g. Bukit Timah Hill or on top of Mount Faber.

In such a situation: 1. Where possible, during the process of moving your bed from existing home to new home upstairs; you should if possible not be around at that time; as a well as once the bed has been set; don't move it or adjust it anymore. Here, your husband should be the co-ordinator and decide whether the bed is properly setand not later moved or changed position, whatsoever. 2. Often, if possible, after the bed has been moved upstairs; try if possible not to go into that existing bedroom (anymore). When the new bed / bedroom has been properly set; then you can go in.

These are some considerations: 1. Using the eye-ball method: Here, it is based on experience to roughly have a feel for the centre-of-gravity of the unit. 1.1. Thus, in my opinion, the centre-of-gravity could most likely be close to the attachment. 1.2. In such a layout plan, there will surely be things like : protusion and missing areas. 1.3. From past experience, many of us always visualise (in many instances) only the missing areas. But often, will not imagine that there are also protusions. 2. A more accurate method is to photo-copy the layout; cut out the outline; paste it on a cardboard; cut-out-the outline and balance it on a pin. When the pin balances, this shoul…
