Dear Master Lee, I came across your explanation of ubi grove (part 9: Flying Stars Feng Shui ) that west group individuals can choose NW3 units. However, I also came across the table on what consider to be an auspicious house based on the direction of the main door. Does that mean that the NW3 units above are considered inauspicious units?

Hello. We recently had a dog that is not ours pass away on our property, outside in the back yard. We had no emotional attached to this animal, but it did belong to a relative. Literally just dropped dead. The animal was immediately removed, within 20 minutes or so, and taken to a veterinary clinic. I have been told this is bad feng shui and can bring bad luck. Is this true? If so, then is there anything that can be done to remedy our problem? Does the same go if any animal dies on the property? Does emotional attachment matter? If this is not feng shui-related, can you please point me in the right direction, if possible? I am not very familiar with fen…

Hi, i was running a report report on a house number on a property I want to purchase. The house number is 11800 and it was build in the 90’s and remodeled (roof shingle replacement, flooring, etc) this year. The report using the two periods are drastically different. Can you tell me if that changes anything with the remodel? And is house number a big deal? Or would I rather consider other major factors? Daisy

Original Title: Move In 入宅 or Move House搬家/移徙 Dear Master Lee, I would like to check is there any difference between these 2 terms, move-in and move house. a. Can I move in for a night stay over and move house on a later date? b. Can I still move in and move house on the same date but the date clash with my son zodiac? c. If specific zodiac clash on that day, not looking at specific hours does not clash? Still ok to move in at that auspicious hours? Thanks, BR/Brandon

Dear Anon, This is a very good question. Generally, in my opinion, this is very common in the West. Especially, if there is a "lovely" bay-window just behind the bed-head. But locally in Singapore, this is often not a good idea for the following reasons. And these reasons are often "common-sense". In Singapore, majority of the homes are apartments (flats) or high-rise and it is often not too good an idea to have the bed-head against the window:- 1. Unfriendly neighbours! There are occassions where inconsiderate neighbours throw out cigarette butts and sometimes it may fall down into an open window. And if are beds are close to or next to the window, there can be a p…

  7. Dear Cecil Lee, I have just moved into a rectangular rental that has a protrusion in the North (covered carport). After reviewing the building page, the explanation would be positive as it says - If the protrusion is at:-North : Can easily make friends. Because I follow Flying Stars feng shui school, does this mean that the NE and NW are still missing? A consultant told me to bury 8 copper coins to square off the NE, but did not provide any information on the cure for the NW. Can you help with some advise on what I can do to cure these areas? I am a KUA #5/8 female Thank you Art

These are the following assumptions:- 1. As you had not mentioned the birth chart of the apartment: if it is a Period 7: 1984 to 2003; then:- 1.1 It is disadvantages to place a water feature atyour proposed location markedin RED as "C". Depending on whether it is aSW2 or NE2 facing direction, a water feature, there may inadvertently inflame a star #3 at that sector. 1.2Especially ifit is a SW2 facing direction, then the water wealth is at marking "A". While marking B is suppose to be theauspicious indirectauspicious water wealth spirit sector. 1.3 WARNING or NOTE: 1.3.1 If the apartment is a Period 8, NE2, then best to avoid a water feature at Marking "A". Whil…

    1. Frankly, Feng Shui is not a cure all. 2. What is often, really needed is to do a full assessment based on the Holistic Approach to finding out what is wrong. 3. The Holy Trinity of Luck:- 3.1. Luck comes in three forms:- 3.2. Heaven Luck - born with 3.3. Earth Luck - Feng Shui of the home and office 3.4. Human or man luck 4. Only through a full assessment - in particular: the review of one's Heaven luck and Earth Luck can one get a bigger picture to identify what are the issues and problems, first.

Hi Master Cecil, I am considering to purchase a new home that is to be built on a triangular lot. I have been researching on this topic and it shows everywhere that it is bad feng shui to live in a house on a triangular shaped lot. Please review the attached floor plan of the house and the specific lot (Lot #19). It would be greatly appreciated if you could share you thoughts on this property. Benny Floor Plan.pdf

Greetings, I like Long and Shallow Aquarium glass tanks because we can provide more swim area for the fishes and the shallow depth can help us to see the fishes from the top is a good view. So I'm planning to build an aquarium of dimension 180 Lx 60 W x 30 H cm for 9 Gold fishes, of which 8 are Gold Fishes and 1 will be a Black Moor. Please clear my following doubts. (1) What does Feng Shui say about the dimensions for an aquarium? Do we need to keep the measurement of an aquarium in odd or even number? Like 2 feet, 5 feet or 6 feet ? (2) I love Aquarium and I want to keep an Aquarium in my home for getting Money, Wealth, Abundance and Prosperity. My House is fa…

Hi. I am new to this forum and to the idea of Feng Shui. And TBH, the more I read about it, the more confused I am. It just seems that there is no good bed placement in my bedroom. The room is pretty small and narrow, the window is more or less in the middle of the narrower wall and it's facing southeast. The door is placed opposite to the window, closer to the right side of the room. Also my Gua number is seven, so my head bed should be facing southwest but then I would be sleeping right between the window and the door... I just can't figure out what would be best in my case. Please help.

Further to what I mentioned, Oops! I forgot: I strongly believe many house-husbands will not be so forgiving as all the great mums around! Most like, he could "accidentally, let loose these dogs, rabbits and other pets. And if the house-dad's do get too angry, these dogs may end up being shipped to Beijing, China to be served as dog meat, rabbit meat etc...! Frankly, in my opinion, if one is starting to rear fish, then, it is best not to go for three tanks at one go. Try out one and go from there, Warmest Regards, Cecil

Hi Master, I stay in a private property and would like to keep 2 fish tanks in my bedroom as there is simply no space in the living room. I am single and stay alone. Don’t really mind the sound of pumps and fishes 1. Is it really a no no to keep fish tanks in my bedroom? 2. If I would like to keep two smaller fish tanks in the room, what is the best place? Thank you so much. Regards, John

It is logical to keep the water bottle closed when not in use. If the bottle is not exposed to heat and is securely closed, it can be stored for an extended period of time. Indications that the water needs to be replaced include bubbles in the water or the bottle shrinking. Therefore, it is similar to a "set it and forget it for a few months" type of situation.

Money Plant has to be one of Singapore citizen's all time favourites! As the leaves are broad and looks like a heart. It can be grown in a bowl of water and rocks (but becareful of mosquito eggs). When grown in a pot, it is a climber or vine. And it can climb walls. And can grow quite large especially if it is grown on the grown. However, if you were to utter these words "Hey! Why are you growing Devil's Ivy" No body would believe this other name. Money Plant belongs to the Araceae family. Origin: Solomon Islands.... If you do visit Solomon Islands... remember... $$$ plant comes from there
