In my opinion, these are some considerations:- 1. Often, homes with different levels have different built up space. And often the home "gets" narrower or less floor area as it "rises" up. Thus, the attic often has the lowest floor area. 2. In considering the center-point of the house, best to look or use the ground level to determine the centrepoint. 3. In my opinion, missing corners for the ground floor is an important consideration. Same often goes to the 2nd storey. Higher up, it depends. There is no one rule that fits all sort of thing.

Cecil As I mentioned previously I have a business, which I recently started =running from a bedroom in my home. The window of my office and my front =door are both on the East side of my house. 1. This reminds me of the time around 1997 or 1998. 2. This was where I could recall, many western sites that had some knowledge called Feng Shui : Fung Sway etc... 3. And many of the sites, had not much resources thus, their largest understanding of Feng Shui was of some kind of thing called "clear space". 4. Thus, I could remember, Feng Shui was strongly advocated as "clear space". 5. In a way, if an item is not in use (empty) no harm clearing it "away". 6. In Feng Shui, even a pile of unwanted newspapers, at the wrong location, could affect the Fung Sway... to coin the 1997-9 term. 7. Besides this, in the past, there were known "hauntings" ... (but of course, should no…

Further to what I had mentioned, I will be more concerned if it is 100 bats "flying" away as unlike birds (which is not highly regarded unless it is the stork - long life), the bats are reverered - and highly regarded. As the phonetic sound of bats is that of good fortune and often denotes happiness! And often 5 bats symbolises "five blessings" in life!

Dear Cecil, Thanks for your reply. Would like to clarify some things: * The trees planted have about 8-10 ft. distance between them. Also, I planted them in the first place because there was way too much sunlight coming in and the rooms facing that side used to get very hot. These trees also do not have dense foliage. Is it still a problem area? Before planting them, do not think I slept any better. Then all that desolate muddy space used to bother me. * The plants inside the halls are small plants - money plants, spiders - in small containers. The bigger plants are outside the hall windows on the ledge. * About the water bodies, if you mean bathrooms, etc., I have tried …

Dear Charlles, Frankly, auspicious date services aren't a free service that we provide. Itit s avalue added services we provide for our fullfeng shui audit services or a paid services on its own. However, it seems that there are many users who keep posting such questions in our advise forum where we cannot reply simply because in order to check dates many additional information is required. Anyway, for the benefit of all users, I have specially created a 30-days Auspicious Date Analysis report users to check out themselves:- URL: http://www.geomancy.net/reports/free-report/freerpt-dateboth.htm The only limitation is that is that it allows users to analyse only 30 days…

Hi Cecil, Now that I know where the center of my house. I have a few more questions: 1) Is the direction for my bedrooms related to the house center? Example, my master bedroom is located in the southwest sector of the house and my master bathroom is located in the south sector of the house. Can I assume that my master bedroom faces southwest and my master bathroom faces south? 2) The master bedroom is right above 1/3 portion of the garage. Is that bad and what's the cure? 3) The master bathroom's toilet is right above the front door (which sits in the South "spook" sector and my gua number is seven). I know this is bad, but what is the cure for this? 4) My prosperity sec…

Dear Glyn, -----Original Message----- From: Listmanager To: Recipients of 'free-advice' suppressed suppressed> Date: Tuesday, January 26, 1999 8:57 AM Subject: Buying a house Yes, look at the landscape and for a house that has the correct facing door for the breadwinner. Normally, you will also find that you have a certain good or bad feeling about the house. Once you are more or less ready and have narrowed down to the few houses which suit you, you can then use the Flying Star theory check for the most suitable house. The rules to apply depends on the element you are curing for and only to cure stars in conflict. Warmest Regards Robert Lee

Dear Shinta, In real life:- Huo-lu actually is the Chinese word for a stove be it a modern or olden stove. While in romanized Mandarin, there is no such thing as wou-lou. It might have being either wrongly spelt as referred to the above "huo-lu" or are you referring to a "hu lu"? A hu lu is actually known as "bottle gourd". Traditionally used by many practitioners to neutralise sickness stars e.g. #5 or #2. For example, some FS practitioners may require one to place a bottle gourd ( hu lu) next to the bed to "suck away " sickness? Thus of these bottle gourds have a cap some do not. And many have wordings on the bottle gourd(s). Warmest Regards, Cecil

For outdoor poison arrow one can use bagua convex mirror to deflect the shaqi as far as I know. My question about indoor posion arrow: What if there is no possibility to avoid sitting/facing in a line of poison arrow (e.g. corner/edge of a wall)? what is the cure? Bagua mirror is not right cure for indoor as far as I know. Thank you in advance. Warm regards, ZQ

Dear Cecil Thank you so much for your quick reply. I may have given you the wrong information by attaching a 9-grid chart earlier. In fact, if measuing the main door from the centrepoint of the house, it is still within the NE section. I am attaching a sketch of pie chart for your reference. Based on your earlier reply, if my main door is at East sector, will I still be using the NE flying star chart? Sorry I am indeed very confused. Thanks for your kind advice, I have based on your advice to check on the house leaks. Please refer to my sketch. Are they consider a leak if the main door is opening to a see-through glass wall but not window? What about the mirror in the liv…

Dear KC, Please see below:- For rearing of fishes, it would not be advisable for a person with the element " weak Fire element " as water can further extinguish a person with weak fire element. In addition, it is normally not advisable for a person with Strong water element to rear fish as it may further strengthen the strong water element. This may lead to e.g. sickness or competition at work for the party. This is OK. Other that what I mentioned earlier; you can place the fish tank next to a wall in your home. Since this is a smiling buddha, it is ok to place near the fish tank. Warmest Regards, Cecil

Dear Cheui May, Please see below:- 1. You have to first consider what is the purpose behind being `attacked' by a poison arrow. 2. If there is a pointed object e.g. like a pointed pencil or the edge of a building aimed anyway directly towards the main door, this is a poison arrow. 3. If it is a lamp post, look or imagine it as a knife slicing thru the main door i.e. tangent or perpendicular to it. 4. Otherwise, if you are standing on the main door looking outside and the lamp post is on the right side and does not `cut' the main door this is not a threat. 5. Is there a gate or fencing between the telephone post and the main door. Is there other `blockages' between th…

Dear Sophia, There are generally three meanings associated with birds:- 1. Longevity Paintings usually with white birds signify longevity. And thus one of the connotation can mean that "100 birds signify living to" guess what age? 100 years! Imagine! even by today's standard, living to a ripe age of81 or 91 years canalready be difficult for majority of us. Not say until 100! Thus, I strongly believe, a painting with 100 birds (usually whitecoloured bird such as cranessimply signify this. 2. The Phoenix 2.1 In many traditional wedding cards; one can find a motif on the invitation card with a Phoenix and dragon motif. The phoenix represents (female - bird or yin), wh…
