General Help

Seek General Advice from Master Cecil Lee

  1. Started by myfs_155026,

As mentioned, previously in general: Based purely on Shapes and Forms Feng Shui, the current bed-head position is still acceptable. Many master bedrooms do have attached bathroom. And many instances where the bed is "beside" the toilet. This is as mentioned, quite common. Again based on Shapes and Forms, there are others who do place the bed at the computer place. Again, still valid.

  2. 1. In my opinion, this has more to do with SYMBOLISM then Feng Shui. 2. It origins is that in the past; the deceased would be brought home during the funeral. 2.1. And the body will be displayed such that the LEGS will face the entrance. This is based on pure common sense. As when it is time for the funeral procession, the coffin will be loaded legs first into the hearse. 3. Thus as mentioned above, it has more to do with the "Chinese" thing or Chinese custom or belief to avoid sleeping with the legs facing an OPENING such as the bedroom door or even the sliding window. 4. IF you are not a Chinese, perhaps, and if you are not as supertitious, no need to be TOO concerned.…

  3. Sorry, you mean opposite each other.... even if they were 6 feet apartment? Where possible, even if they are 6 feet apartment where possible, the sink with it's water pipe (hose) should not directly face the stove (HOBS).

  4. These are some resources: http://forum.geomancy.net/resources/forum-archive/4770.htm http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=24390&new=%3EHouse%20Hunting%20:%20A%20Lot%20Position%20-%20%3Cem%3EFeng%20Shui%3C/em Usually, if an underground water source is below a house, this is considered bad "vapours". Hopefully the cellar is dry and not damp. The above may not be exactly what you are facing, now. You can monitor the damness using a hydrometer for moisture. Too much moisture is a growth culture for bacteria etc....

  5. These are further considerations:- http://forum.geomancy.net/phpforum/article.php?bid=2&fid=1&mid=29725&new=), 1. By coincidence from now to 2023, based on Flying Star Feng Shui you are lucky that South is ranked 2nd only to SW and NE. And North ranks much lower. 2. From the above article, do take note that SW and NE not mentioned by you has the best Feng Shui. 3. Facing an open space where a bird can fly freely is also considered VIRTUAL water. 3.1 And not necessarily do or die must face the sea. Think about it. 4. In addition, you are also missing another factor: How suitable is the apartment to you? 5. In my opinion, if you happen to be an East group pers…

  6. These are some considerations: 1. In this home, NEVER, (NEVER) play with the Ouija board that summons spirits. Some call this a Wiggy Board "game" or a "talking-to spirit" board. 2. What happens is that when one plays with this board; it is opening a portal. 2.1. And in many instances, because of the past incident, this house is more "yin". And often, one may unintentally invite visitors. 2.2. We are not so scared of the "low ranking" visitors e.g. those that have yet to cross through "the LIGHT". 2.3. What is most fearful is that often such portals can inadvertently sent is a High Ranking (General) or Devil's right hand person i.e. the Dark force. 3. Once this occurs, e…

Auspicious/inauspicious dates are based on the lowest common denominator = the Five Elements. One's ba zi e.g. Element and strength also based on the Five Elements. Thus, one can apply one's favourable color(s) on that day.

  10. 1. Yes, it is simply common sense that you should use your ACTUAL birth date. 1.1. In fact, in many countries, and in rural areas, often a birth gets reported several days later or even weeks later. 1.2. In Singapore, there are lots of cases where, a birth was reported many days and weeks later. Thus, it is always prudent to use one's actual birth date. This refers to the 2nd part of your question: Master Bedroom: Which side must I sleep on

These are some considerations: 1. The famous saying Rome is not built in a day. 1.1 Neither can an ANSWER can be immediately given to someone who says "Any remedy for this?" 2.Please note that there are so many concepts and principles. Furthermore, the following are cruicial: STEP 1: Feng Shui Triage Proper trouble-shooting is required. OTHERS: Fix-the-Leak, First! Easily three or more major problems. The Concept of Maximizing Marks Hopefully from a FAIL to a PASS or better! The Customer Engineer Concept If you D.I.Y. make sure you read this!

    1. We can draw a parallel with the "Yellow ribbon". 2. Let's hope that person changes for good. A glimmer of hope? If not, what the HECK! Sent that person to JAPAN! or NIPPON LAND! A land of few curses and lots of bowing.... 3. I assure you, if the person you mentioned goes to Nippon, he/she will be cured! 4. Some consider the Yellow Ribbon a project as they believe that out of all the hardcore; some might change for the better

  14. 1. In my opinion, this is modern times and not some medieval times. 2. Nowadays or even in the past, few people if any decide totravel based on the decision of whetherit is a good or inauspicious day to do so. 3. If we do so, there is very little leeway and our life is like at the mercy of or even considered as enslaven. 4. Mathematically speaking: 4.1.It is much safer to be travelling on a plane than say on the road. As the miles per incident is few on an airplane. 4.2. Again,if there are 100 or more person's travelling on the same flight; in theory, 50 percent would be travelling on their auspicious dayswhile 50 percent would be travelling likewhat you are concerned with…

  16. These are some considerations: 1. Thanks for your detailed sketch! 2. Under a major concept in symbolism; all bedroom doors must open inwards: to symbolise "qi flow" into the room. 3. This is why often, all main entrance doors must open inwards. 3.1 I do clearly remember that a few years ago, a Vietnam developer had forwarded layout plan(s) for a large estate with all main entrance door opening outwards. 3.2 Here, this is considered not auspicious. 4. Ideally, for a home, it is best also that the backdoor should also open inwards. But if there is no back door (just a grille gate then no issue if the grille gate opens outwards). 5. Not to worry, for convenience and pract…

These are some considerations: 1. Often, what seems to be missing corners may be the reverse i.e. a protusion or protusions. 2. Frankly, verbal descriptions like I have missing cornders at SW and SE. 2.1. Even within this simple sentence; there are lots of unknows: 2.2. How large a missing corner, whether the missing corner straddles between one true cardinal point(s) and or 2.3. How large is the missing corner(s) 2.4. Is the missing corner narrow or fat or thin or what...??? 3. Seriously, so far, I believe no geomancer or let's say in a doctor's situation: 3.1. Your posting is like calling up a doctor to describe some medical situation. What is even more pressing is, …

This are some considerations: 1. In today's real world, real people, real careers; be prepared to have such things like what you mentioned not purely belonging to just one element but can also most likely represent : especially TWO or (even more) elements. 2. Thus, the old mindset of: sloting an industry into only ONE single element is "history". 3. Especially if one has some knowledge or look at a guide and figure out that this industry may belong to two elements. Does it sound reasonable? If so, you have your answer! 4. Thus in my opinion, to me, also, what you wrote sounds reasonable. 5. The term multi-tasking is common place today. So is the term: multi-skilling: wher…

As mentioned based purely on a top-view Shapes and Forms: 1. the service road that is parallel to the condo plot is not an issue. 2.As the plot where you had marked is not threatened by any service or public road. 3.Thefrontage of the condo is unblocked: more good than bad. As there is alarge clear space.Minor issue is that there is no blockages thus shouldit be windy, there is nothing to block the wind blowing strongly towards the face. 4. Plot of land at a corner is subject to another science of Feng Shui. 4.1 Here, one must imagine that rainfall will fall onto the plot of land and often if the DROP at A andC are open drainage, depending on this; some apartment units ma…

In case you do not realise: 1. Please be mind full or rather frankly, be considerate. 2. You mentioned that you appreciate that this website is so interative. 3. Yet, just imagine, pucking some raw data from some other website and ask to comment on it. 4. For example, you don't go to Google and ask them to comment on Apple's program. Likewise, you don't go to Apple's forum and ask them to comment on someone else thing. 5. Furthermore, the info you provided is so vague and I don't even know whether the raw data you uploaded is correct! 6. In fact, I can say for sure: 8 out of 10 Geomancy sites would get their Ba zi analysis ("wrong" or too superficial". http://forum.geom…

You wrote: 1.) Will there be issue if my feet faces the sliding glass door to the walk-in wardrobe? I heard that it is very bad fengshui to have feet from bed facing doors. In real life situations, especially for some who live in a landed property. If a coffin was brought into the home for the final rites; the deceased person's legs were to face the main entrance door. This is common sense. As when the time to sent the casket away, this is the most efficient method. Thus for an apartment; frankly, even if your legs face your Walk-in wardrope entrance, it does not fit the above two paragraphs I wrote earlier. So, it should not be an issue. Unless, the legs face the bedro…

    1. This year, whatever you do; don't fill in or "dig earth" at SE sector. As this year, the five yellow and Grand Duke is at this sector. 2. In theory, so long as you don't do major hacking / drilling at SE, adding a fountain, at that sector is still ok.

Hi Mr Cecil My personal office door is directly facing (about 2m away) a toilet door & a storeroom door, since the toilet door & storeroom door is just side by side. My office which is located in the west sector has a window facing west, has double #8 star & #1 star, while the toilet has #7 & #2 bad stars. What should I do to ward off the negative effect of facingthe toilet door &storeroom door? Thanks very much Paul
